Muharraq Club wrapped up a stellar season by beating Dar Kulaib 3-1 to win the Crown Prince Volleyball Cup on Tuesday night at Isa Bin Rashid Arena in Riffa. Fresh off their league title, this win marks a historic double for the team and had the crowd on their feet.
It's Muharraq's 14th Crown Prince Cup, adding to their record as the competition's most successful side, and it ends a 12-year wait for this trophy. The cup's new 'golden edition' couldn't have asked for a better first champion—Muharraq have been the team to beat all year.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representing His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, presented the trophy to Muharraq's squad, who've had a brilliant campaign.
