This is how you could win tickets for the Abu Dhabi F1 2025

Time Out Abu Dhabi18 hours ago
Dining out this summer may well land you on the trackside of one of the UAE's biggest events of the year – the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025.
Yas Bay Waterfront and Yas Marina have just launched Summer Pitstop, a two-month culinary campaign where your meal could turn into a VIP Mega Fan Experience during Abu Dhabi GP Race Week – complete with circuit views, pit lane access, theme park thrills and serious bragging rights.
Running from July 1 to August 31, the campaign brings together over 25 of Yas Island's most popular restaurants, bars and lounges and every Dhs100 you spend gets you a shot at the grand prize.
What can you win?
Let's start with the big one: A VIP fan experience for four at the Formula 1 season finale.
Think luxury hospitality, 360-degree trackside views, pit lane walks and exclusive access to Yas Island's theme parks and cultural landmarks. One lucky winner will live the race week dream with three guests in tow.
Not the grand prize winner? You've still got four more chances to get in on the action.
Every two weeks, one diner will score race tickets for two, plus access to high-octane fan zones, all-day entertainment and Yas Island's biggest attractions.
How to enter
You eat, you upload, you wait for that winner's call. Here's how it works:
Dine at any participating venue at Yas Bay Waterfront or Yas Marina for Dhs100 or more in a single bill (delivery doesn't count!). Upload your receipt at summerpitstop.ae. Keep the physical receipt – you'll need it to claim your prize if you win.
The more you spend, the more chances you get. And yes, UAE residents and international visitors are all eligible to enter.
Where to dine (and win)
You've got over 25 venues to choose from, ranging from award-winning Yas Island restaurants to party spots and Instagram-perfect cafés.
At Yas Marina, kick off your day with a speciality coffee from Boroughs, indulge in fusion plates at Mika, or sip mixed drinks by the water at Iris, La Mezcaleria, or the stylish Bla Bla Bar.
Over at Yas Bay Waterfront, grab a family feast at Central, brunch with flair at Asia Asia or Paradiso, or dance until late at Lock, Stock & Barrel or McCafferty's. After something chill? Café Del Mar, The Lighthouse, Bushra and EL&N London all offer sleek settings and solid menus worth lingering over.

50 high-street jeans on sale for a chic summer wardrobe refresh

Fashion by Aminath Ifasa July 2, 2025 Summer's hottest jeans trends are now on sale across high-street favorites, offering the perfect opportunity to upgrade your wardrobe. These 50 carefully curated styles combine current silhouettes with timeless appeal – from slouchy boyfriend cuts to curve-hugging skinnies, all at prices that make stocking up irresistible. The season's best washes are represented too: sun-bleached vintage blues, crisp white denim for resort vibes, and rich indigos that transition effortlessly into fall. What unites them all? Exceptional quality at prices that leave room in your budget for the perfect pairing tops and accessories. Particular highlights include Zara's mid rise options with 5 pockets (to carry your lip glosses) , & Other Stories' cult wide-leg crops at 50% off, and Massimo Dutti's premium-feeling organic cotton designs. Each pair offers that elusive combination of trend relevance and timelessness – investments that will work for seasons to come. Summer Jeans Styling Handbook Cropped kick-flares become vacation-ready when paired with a knotted linen shirt and espadrilles – add layered gold chains and oversized sunglasses for Saint-Tropez vibes. Distressed boyfriend jeans reach new polished heights when balanced with a structured blazer and sleek mules – perfect for summer Fridays. Printed denims transform when worn under a flowy kimono with leather slide sandals – ideal for resort evenings. White skinny jeans make the ultimate polished base for nautical stripes and raffia accessories – office-appropriate yet breezy. 90s-style wide-legs work surprisingly well for petite frames when paired with heeled sandals and a tucked-in bodysuit. Dark wash skinnies become evening-appropriate with a sequin-trimmed tank and metallic accessories – no jacket required. Beyond the obvious styling potential, these sale finds offer hidden practical benefits. Many incorporate innovative stretch fabrics that maintain their shape even in humidity, while newer eco-conscious options prove sustainability doesn't require sacrificing style. The current promotions make this the ideal moment to replace tired basics with refreshed versions or experiment with trendier shapes you've been eyeing. – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram Images from website & Feature Image: @cristinahudacov

Private View by AKQA Dubai's Richa Rai

Campaign Middle East features a Private View section with a range of insights and viewpoints from industry experts, revealing the intricate world of marketing and advertising campaigns. This review of our 'Works' from May is by Richa Rai, Account Director, AKQA Dubai. talabat x Kitopi: See, Eat, Repeat! Kitopi's shift from a back-end cloud kitchen to a consumer-facing brand was done with clarity and simplicity. The 'See, Eat, Repeat' message was catchy and consistent, especially across OOH and influencer content. It made the offering easy to grasp and remember. One thing that could've added more value would be integrating QR codes or clearer digital extensions to bridge awareness with action. MG Egypt: Well Known, Even If Not Owned This campaign tapped into a culturally relevant insight – Egyptians love discussing cars, whether they own them or not. MG used that idea cleverly to build warmth and relatability. The humour felt organic, and the subtle product placement didn't interrupt the storytelling. A clearer next step, like encouraging test drives, could have helped tie emotional engagement with tangible outcomes. Boutiqaat: Ya Hala Campaign This one leaned fully into bold, local humour, and it worked. The over-the-top execution made it easy to share and perfectly suited platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. It felt fun and intentionally unpolished. That said, the raffle mechanism and brand presence could've been brought to the forefront a bit more, so viewers connected the fun with a clear takeaway or action. RAM: RHO Airlines – The Shortest Flight RAM's approach was theatrical and unexpected, turning a product demo into a full-on desert stunt. The visual production and airport setup created buzz without feeling out of place. The use of influencers felt integrated, not forced. The campaign did well to anchor the showmanship in product performance. McDonald's Saudi: Menuless Stripping menus from stores sounds risky, but it worked in McDonald's favour by driving curiosity and footfall. It made people pause, think, and rediscover their favourites – a nice twist on everyday behaviour. I would've loved to see some more layered storytelling to deepen impact. Amplification beyond store walls could've helped sustain the momentum beyond the initial surprise. By Richa Rai, Account Director, AKQA Dubai.

8 spots to get the best, most luscious chocolate cake in Dubai

World Chocolate Day is coming up on July 7, but let's be honest, we don't need any kind of excuse to indulge in a big, fat, dense slice of chocolate cake, the kind that makes all your problems go away. If you're looking to satisfy such a category of craving in Dubai, then we've got you covered with this list. By order of What's On , everyone gets chocolate cake. Jun's Now this is a special weekend treat. Jun's chocolate cake contains the magical powers of Chef Kelvin Cheung's genius and gluten-free goodness, so everyone can enjoy a slice come Thursday. Think layers upon layers of chocolate sponge cake topped with dark chocolate mousse & dark chocolate ganache topped with salted caramel and burnt milk crumble – sounds exquisite, and indeed, it is. The layers are thin, rich, packed with flavour and texture, and if this isn't a way to reward yourself on the weekend, we don't know what is. @junsdubai OMA OMA has heartwarming homegrown origins – the whole corporate-to-croissant type story, and while they do cakes and cookies, as well as some tinned varieties like the dream cake and tiramusi, their chocolate crack cake is a divine variation of the traditional chocolate cake. In a tin, like the ever popular dream cake format, with layers of rich Valrhona chocolate with just the right amount of crunch. Grab a spoon and work away through the creamy, dreamy layers. @ Rise Bakehouse Rise Bakehouse in Al Quoz is all about that perfect slice for one. Specialising of sorts in lunchbox cakes, those cute little mini things you've probably seen on your Instagram, they have a chocolate variety as well. Feuilletine chocolate crunch cake – a 4-inch, 2-layered chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling and dark chocolate feuilletine. It's enough for two people, but you don't have to share and we support that. Don't miss out on their workshops. @ Parker's Matilda Cake Miss Trunchbull and Bruce Bogtrotter's cake-filled saga has given birth to a Dubai desserts Instagram favourite – the Matilda Cake, found at Parker's outlets across the UAE. Videos of this massive cake slice encased in a little cardboard triangle and filled to the brim with chocolate sauce, and shots of the cardboard being lifted and the most inviting chocolate pour may be frequent on your explore page. Bruce's chocolate smeared face is the telltale sign, perched on little stick and stuck into the slice. It looks so good – the cravings are starting to hit. @parkers Melenzane A bit unconventional but this Milly Cake from Italian spot Melenzane has captured the attention and hearts of many. It's essentially a super creamy, rich, thick mousse, served in a dish with a jar of what looks like chocolate milk. Think crunchy hazelnut layers, silky mascarpone mousse, and rich cocoa anglaise which you can pour over top, drench the cake and have a bite. The entire experience is a party of textures, from the smooth mousse to the sweet milk and the crunchy bits on top. @melenzaneuae Circle Cafe Four layers of chocolate? Now you're talking. Circle Cafe's chocolate cake is one that is big, rich and perfect for when those cravings hit. The sizes are generous but once you've had a bite of this gooey creation, all thoughts of sharing go out the window. The icing is the star, steering away from the thick buttercream that sometimes overwhelms these cakes. The filling is much gooier and moreish as well, and all your chocolate cake dreams will come alive with a slice of this. @ Magnolia Bakery The people stay going gaga over the banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery, but some of their other treats are also drool-worthy, including the chocolate cake. In it's most traditional, authentic form, this two-layered cake comes with layers of soft, moist chocolate sponge, creamy, fluffy, icing and a touch of sprinkles around the edge. No fancy additions, no frilly ingredients – just pure chocolate goodness. Order a slice, or the whole cakes, because whoever said you can't have a whole cake to yourself was wrong. @magnoliabakeryuae Gateaux This one seems to be a resounding Dubai favourite, name-dropped on social media and the good old Reddit forums. The people have spoken, and they love Gateaux's devil's chocolate cake. This a classic one too – a dark moist chocolate sponge made with premium chocolate and layered with rich chocolate ganache, and topped with some fruit (for balance, of course). One of those family classic cakes you can order for a birthday or even for a special occasion, this one will serve a crowd. @gateaux_uae Images: Socials
