Enliven Therapeutics, Inc. (ELVN) Backed by Goldman Sachs After Strong Trial Data
Enliven Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ELVN) is among the best NASDAQ stocks under $50 to buy. On Monday, analysts at Goldman Sachs started coverage on Enliven Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ELVN) with a Buy rating and a $37.00 price target, implying a rise of about 60% from the current levels. The firm's confidence in the stock stems from favorable Phase 1 data for the company's chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) solution.
The investment bank noted that ELVN-001's sustained efficacy data, presented during the European Hematology Association meeting, highlighted a 47% overall cumulative major molecular response (MMR) rate by 24 weeks and a 41% response in tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI)-resistant patients. These results surpassed the fourth-generation Scemblix by Novartis (SIX:NOVN) figures, with a difference of 10% and 32%, respectively.

The company is all set to launch a Phase 3 trial in 2026, which in itself is a $3 billion opportunity. If we look at the three-year return, Enliven Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ELVN) exhibited a return of a whopping 1,980.18% in contrast to the 64.53% return by the market. Calling this simply an 'amazing' performance would be an understatement.
Enliven Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ELVN), headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. The company focuses on the recognition and development of small-molecule inhibitors to assist people living with cancer, improving survival and overall well-being.
While we acknowledge the potential of ELVN as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. Is Tesla Stock a Millionaire Maker?
In the past 15 years, this top EV stock has climbed more than 20,000%. Tesla shares have always sold for a premium, which is detached from the reality of the current business. Investors considering buying the stock must believe the company will make good on its plans for autonomous driving and robotics. These 10 stocks could mint the next wave of millionaires › Looking back at its history as a public company, Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has generated serious wealth for investors. The auto industry disruptor has seen its shares skyrocket 20,290% since its initial public offering in June 2010 (as of June 25). Had you invested just $5,000 back then, there would be a $1 million balance in your portfolio right now. No one would argue with that kind of impressive past gain. But will the leading EV stock be a millionaire maker in the future? Tesla might be the most closely watched business in the world, partly, because of how it disrupted the global car market. Investors also keep tabs on what CEO Elon Musk is doing, as well as his plans for the company (more on this below). However, investors shouldn't lose sight of what Tesla really is today, which is a challenged company that sells innovative and tech-enhanced EVs. In the first quarter, the business reported $14 billion of automotive revenue, 72% of the total. Total revenue was up just 0.9% in 2024, then it declined 9.2% in Q1 2025. Operating income in the first quarter tanked 66%, thanks to lower average selling prices, fewer deliveries, and higher expenses. To be fair, this is an extremely inventive company that's working at the cutting edge of exciting technologies. But someone viewing Tesla with a clear lens would see that this is a struggling business. Its core operations are under pressure, without a doubt. What valuation should Tesla trade at knowing the reality of the business today? Even with a more reasonable price-to-earnings ratio (P/E) of 50 (compared to its current P/E ratio of 179), which is what luxury automaker Ferrari trades for, the stock has 72% downside. That certainly doesn't give investors any reason to be bullish. Based on the current market cap of $1 trillion and P/E ratio of 179, Tesla is wildly overvalued. But the story stock has seemingly always traded at a steep valuation, as investors continue to bet on a future that sees the company realizing its potential as a dominant force in autonomous driving and robotics. The company has finally launched a robotaxi service in Austin, Texas. This was highly anticipated and something that Musk has talked about for years. However, I think it turned out to be a big nothing burger. There were no Cybercabs. Less than two dozen Model Ys were used instead. There were human supervisors in all the vehicles. And videos of the robotaxis in action showed numerous issues, spurring an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. At the same time, Alphabet's Waymo is handling 250,000 trips per week in multiple cities. And an application is in place to start testing the service in New York City. Tesla appears to still have a long way to go. The company is also leveraging its AI capabilities to work on Optimus, a humanoid robot. Musk believes it will produce 1 million units annually by the end of this decade. Besides placing these machines in its factories, the goal is to sell them to other companies. If all goes according to plan, which is a very uncertain outcome, then Tesla could make its investors into millionaires down the road. The end markets for robotaxis and humanoid robots are estimated to be measured in the trillions of dollars. The company's ability to not only have these technologies achieve mass adoption, but to also capture a sizable chunk of the opportunity, could create a financial windfall. However, I think there's also a good chance that the business won't deliver up to its heightened expectations, a perspective that's supported by a history of constant delays. This is a stock that I'm still avoiding. Ever feel like you missed the boat in buying the most successful stocks? Then you'll want to hear this. 2 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Stocks That Could Be Poised for a Big Second-Half Comeback
Growth stocks, including AI players, faced challenging times earlier in the first half as investors worried about the economy. The following two players could benefit from positive news in the months to come. 10 stocks we like better than Apple › The first half of the year has been somewhat of a rollercoaster ride for stocks -- and investors. Though all three major indexes have now crossed into positive territory, that wasn't the story just a few weeks ago. The S&P 500 index, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, and the Nasdaq Composite each sank in the early months of the year amid concerns that President Donald Trump's import tariff plan would hurt the economy, earnings, and stock performance. Since then, positive signs, such as initial trade deals and strong earnings reports, have eased investors' minds, and as a result, the indexes rebounded. Still, certain growth stocks, such as some artificial intelligence (AI) players, remain in the doldrums and are heading for a first-half decline. Let's take a look at two that could be poised for a big second-half comeback. As Trump announced his tariff plan, investors worried about what it could mean for Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), in particular, because the company produces most of its iPhones in China, a country most highly targeted by tariffs. Though the president exempted electronics products, this exemption is temporary. He even threatened Apple recently with a 25% tariff on all imported iPhones. Apple made a move to diversify its manufacturing base, promising that most U.S.-destined iPhones would soon be made in India, but that country faces tariffs, too. All this tariff uncertainty weighed on Apple stock, pushing it down by about 20% so far this year. So, why should we expect a comeback in the second half? While Trump is serious about bringing manufacturing back to the U.S., it's unlikely that he and his administration would make moves to destroy some of the country's top companies, including Apple. We've seen signs of flexibility in initial U.S. trade deals with the U.K. and China, so it's reasonable to expect a compromise with tech companies that won't limit their growth. Meanwhile, Apple is a well-established player with a strong financial situation. The company has more than $48 billion in cash and marketable securities. So, it has the resources to address challenges. At the same time, the smartphone giant has a newish growth engine in the form of services. Services revenue, thanks to Apple's huge base of installed devices, has reached record levels quarter after quarter. This growth should continue as loyal Apple users continue to rely on the company for data storage, digital entertainment, and more. All this means that today, Apple looks like a bargain, trading at 27 times forward earnings estimates, down from more than 35 times late last year. These levels offer it plenty of room to run, and it may do just that on any good news in the second half. SoundHound AI (NASDAQ: SOUN) is a specialist in voice AI, with its technology powering voice systems in cars and restaurant ordering systems, to mention just two examples. The stock has plummeted 50% so far this year, but I see this as more of a buying opportunity than a reason to worry, and here's why. First, after a 150% increase in SoundHound shares over the past year, it's not surprising that some investors may have locked in gains in recent times. Second, growth companies -- particularly young growth companies -- may struggle to expand during rough economic times, so investors' concerns earlier this year led to a sell-off of these sorts of players. Today, it's important to look at SoundHound's earnings performance and long-term prospects. The company is in high-growth mode, with revenue soaring 150% in the latest quarter as it expands its customer base across various sectors. This is key because use across industries lowers risk, meaning if one customer or industry suffers, SoundHound won't necessarily suffer alongside it. SoundHound has numerous patents protecting its technology, a system that immediately translates speech into meaning without the speech-to-text step. This results in speed and improved quality. SoundHound's rapid growth and revenue of $29 million in the quarter, along with the forecasted $140 billion AI voice market size, suggest that much more growth could be ahead for this voice specialist. All this means that as uncertainty about the general economy lifts and SoundHound continues to deliver growth, the stock could roar higher in the second half of the year. Stock futures rise after S&P 500 notches a fresh record high: Live updates
Traders work on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on June 27, 2025. NYSE Stock futures rose Sunday evening as investors look to cap a stunning month for stocks. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures each added about 0.1%. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 130 points, or 0.3%. The market's swift recovery this month comes as investors continue to monitor the whipsaw of global trade negotiations, which can quickly sway market sentiment and pose an ongoing threat to the strength of this rally. Still, June's surge reflects the exuberance of investors who are relieved that most of the Trump administration's most dire tariff threats haven't been implemented. This month, the S&P 500 is up 4.4%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq has jumped nearly 6.1%. The Dow, meanwhile, has added about 3.7% month to date. U.S. equities are also coming off a fresh high on Friday, with the S&P 500 reaching a new record in more than four months after ending the session about 0.5% higher at 6,173.07 — overtaking its previous record of 6,147.43. At its low in April, the S&P 500 was down nearly 18% for the year when global trade and tariff tensions rocked the market. The Nasdaq Composite hit an all-time high and closed at a record after adding about 0.5% on Friday, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose nearly 1%. Stocks on Friday had pulled back from their session highs after President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that the U.S. is immediately "terminating ALL discussions on Trade with Canada" in response to Ottawa's decision to move forward with a digital services tax on American tech firms. But earlier in the day, stocks ran up after Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said late Thursday that a framework between China and the U.S. on trade had been finalized, and that the Trump administration soon expects to reach deals with 10 major trading partners. Investors remain confident that the strength in price indicates good news for the market moving forward, particularly as opportunities to buy the dip emerge. "The bearish narratives—Middle East conflict, tariffs, soft economic data—keep getting invalidated by the price action," said Ken Mahoney, CEO of Mahoney Asset Management. "Every chance the market has had to break down has failed. Instead, it continues to do what bull markets do best: climb the wall of worry. We think this run can continue, not without volatility to the downside of course."
