Fox's makes huge change to popular chocolate bars for first time in 10 years – and they're on supermarket shelves now

FOX'S has has made a huge change to one of its popular chocolate bars for the first time in a decade - and they're on supermarket shelves now.
The iconic biscuit-makers, which started making brandy snaps in 1853, has brought out a brand new edition of its Rocky bars.

The lunchbox favourites already come in a range of flavours including chocolate, caramel, orange, mint, and salted caramel.
However, Fox's has now launched new Rocky Stack'd sandwich bars, in what it said was a "fresh twist" for the range.
The new bars combine two biscuits with a layer of cream sandwiched in between, and covered in milk chocolate.
They're available in two flavours - chocolate cream and vanilla cream.
Shoppers have already spotted the treats on supermarket shelves, after they launched exclusively in Asda stores on July 26.
The supermarket is currently selling them on offer at 96p for a six-pack.
Fox's confirmed that the bars would be rolled out to other major supermarkets from September 7, and will retail at £1.50 for a six-pack.
Fox's Burton Company said it was the first "major innovation" to its Rocky bars, which were first launched in the 1990s, in 10 years.
Some fans who have already tried the biscuits pointed out that they're very similar to another iconic Fox's treat - the Fox's Favourites Classics.
"They taste exactly like a classic but they are only 96p so can't complain," one fan commented on Facebook.
Another said the new bars were "basically a rebranded Fox's Classic".
FBC's trade marketing director David Hebson said: 'Rocky has always stood for quality and great taste, and we're proud to be one of the top household names in the biscuit category.
"With STACK'd, we're doubling down on those values while giving shoppers the 'new news' they're craving in the chocolate biscuit bar aisle.
'This is all about offering a more indulgent and satisfying option – whether it's evening snacking or an on-the-go treat – and we believe it gives retailers a powerful new reason to back the Rocky brand.'
Other new Fox's flavours
The launch comes after Fox's jumped on the Dubai-style chocolate trend earlier this year, launching new biscuits inspired by the viral flavour.
Fox's Chocolatey Dubai Style Pistachio Indulgent Creams launched in Tesco stores this summer, selling for £2.35 for Clubcard members.
If you don't have a Clubcard, the limited edition biscuits are £3 per pack.
Each pack contains eight of biscuits, featuring a chocolate-encased shortcake with creamy centre and crispy pistachio filling made using real nuts.
Meanwhile, Fox's made a change to its much-loved Party Rings in April this year - marking the first shake-up in the biscuits' 42-year history.
The brand launched "Under the Sea Minis", which featured "fun, fish shapes" instead of the classic ring, exclusively in Asda stores for 12 weeks.

Exact amount Brits will spend on ice cream over a lifetime revealed

BRITS will spend over £8,700 on ice cream in a lifetime, according to research. A poll, of 2,000 people, found more than 3,000 supermarket scoops will be consumed in that time, along with the same number of ice creams on a stick. 1 While more than 2,300 treats will be bought from ice cream vans during an adult lifetime. And Gen Z is the generation likely to consume the most, with an average of almost 12,300 predicted. But with the summer holidays in full swing, 17% are forking out over £7 for a single scoop this summer alone, with the average ice cream van cone setting people back £4.60. The research was commissioned by Asda, which launched a one-day-only Asda Price Cream Van pop-up on Brighton Promenade, Thursday July 31, serving free vanilla scoops to beachgoers. The poll also revealed some parents are getting seriously creative to dodge ice cream truck prices with 8% telling their kids that when the van plays music, it means they've run out. While 18% of respondents pull the classic 'we've got some at home' move and 12% suddenly develop a case of wallet amnesia. One in 10 blame the van for only taking cash, and a bold one in 20 go full myth-buster, claiming a "99" now costs £9.99. It's no wonder they are making excuses, with the classic "99" cone setting buyers back an average of £4.60 - a price that is clearly making some families think twice. Still, ice cream remains the ultimate treat - 32% say it's their favourite indulgence - no matter their age. A spokesperson from the supermarket, which has also brought back its Price Promise to customers, said: 'Summer wouldn't be summer without ice cream - but we know the cost can add up fast, particularly during the holiday season. Four simple ways to save money at Asda 'That's why, to continue our 60th birthday celebrations and further mark the return of Asda Price, we're making this simple pleasure accessible to all.' When it came to the top flavours consumed, vanilla was most popular, followed by chocolate and mint chocolate chip - while strawberry came in fourth. And mixing flavours is no problem according to 39%, with the same number associating the sweet treat as deeply connected with the summer holidays. Regardless of its price, 33% said an ice cream by the beach is a great feeling, even if it's expensive, though 28% don't see a 99 as good value anymore. And 37% consider it an all year-round treat, according to the data.
