Kristen and Luke Reveal a Major Twist in Their Living Situation: "Here We Go…" (EXCLUSIVE)
Luke revealed the change in his and Kristen's living situation plans after showing off fresh updates to their new rental home on The Valley Season 2, Episode 6.
"Personally, I'd like to stay in this house until we buy our forever home. That's my goal," the podcast co-host said on The Valley After Show. "We're not 100 percent on the same page because there are days that Kristen hates the house we're in. But it's becoming our space. I'd like to be there until we're talking about school for our daughter."

As for where he envisions their "forever home" being located, Luke joked, "I hope a long ways from here," prompting castmate Danny Booko to suggest they, instead, consider relocating to — where else — but Santa Clarita, where he and Nia Sanchez Booko just closed on a new home. Luke replied that if he and Kristen were to purchase a house "any where in this area," it actually would be "up by" the Bookos.
Separately, Kristen chimed in to confirm that Luke had "suddenly" been talking about relocating to the Santa Clarita area — again, if they buy a house in California. She also floated a theory as to why her fiancé had warmed to the idea of remaining in the L.A. area, despite him looking for homes in other faraway cities such as Nashville.

"I think as long as he knows that I'm willing to, like, get out of here, for periods of time, whether it's to go to Colorado for a month or a few weeks there and not just these little weekend trips and we're stuck in this house, then we've made it," she explained to Nia, who also tried to sell her on the idea, touting the area's great schools and abundance of chain restaurants.
Plus, one of Luke's "closest friends" there was also planning to buy a house in Santa Clarita. Kristen added, "I was like, here we go. Here we go."
In The Valley's May 20 episode, Kristen shared that she and Luke were "so excited to be moving into this beautiful house," which came complete with a swimming pool and three bedrooms. Though she had planned to reserve one as a guest room for visiting family and friends, the James Mae T-shirt designer hoped, at the time, she'd get the opportunity to turn the third bedroom into a nursery — which they've since done, of course.
"But Luke and I are only renting this house," she cautioned. "We're still unsure of where we even want to lay our roots permanently."
As Luke put it in a confessional, though, "This house is the first step in my big plan for our future."

Having already revealed his proposal plan to Danny, Luke took his friend with him to shop for Kristen's engagement ring in the episode, which was filmed in summer 2024. When pressed about an engagement timeline, Luke divulged, "The only thing I know for sure is I plan this year, at some point this year."
As the Season 2 trailer already gave away, Luke will be popping the question on The Valley in the not-so-distant future. While revealing to a producer when he knew she was "the one," he gushed, "Kristen is the love of my life, and this ring is gonna show that."

EJ returns and Belle is very impressed with his eggs benedict. She enjoys spending time with him in this way as they will soon be on opposing sides. EJ understands but notes they have the same goal of exonerating Johnny. She wonders how she was put back on the case but doesn't want any details. EJ knows he's put Belle in a bad position but says the new video may mean she won't have to prosecute Johnny. She might even consider dropping the charges… Belle is so annoyed and says Johnny has to be exonerated in a court of law. After getting no response from her or Arianna, he leaves Holly a voicemail. Marlena and John's Penthouse: Brady says he has good news for Kristen. Chanel is now a suspect in EJ's murder. She is thrilled the charges against Johnny will possibly be dropped meaning Rachel won't have to testify. Brady notes it's a no win situation for Johnny. Kristen thanks Brady for keeping her in the loop. She notes her run in with EJ who wanted her to coach Rachel to lie on the stand to exonerate Johnny. Brady loses his cool but Kristen stops him from going to confront her brother. Just then, Tate arrives home and Kristen exits. Brady wonders why he is home and not at the lake with Holly. Tate says Holly never showed up. He says he went to the lake, and no one saw Holly nor Arianna Grace. Tate thinks she might be ghosting him but Brady squashes those thoughts. He asks if there is anyone else who would know where Holly is and Tate's mind goes to young Douglas. Chanel and Johnny's Place: Johnny calls Philip to say he won't be back in but will be around early tomorrow. Chanel emerges from the bedroom and is impressed at his composure. She is freaked out as all of Salem will think one of them shot EJ. Johnny says it's up to them to figure out who shot his father. They discuss the memory card and Chanel says she does not remember threatening EJ. Johnny believes her as she would never shoot anyone, but even if she did, she wouldn't let him take the fall. Chanel and Johnny decide to come up with a list of possible suspects. He mentions Gabi and Ava but notes his father focused on Kristen. Johnny thinks they should be taking notes but when he looks for paper, he finds a receipt indicating Chanel put Sweet Bits up as collateral for his bail. She says the money had to come from her so Johnny knew she supported him. The two exchange I love yous and embrace. Random Warehouse: The loan shark goon holds Holly and Arianna Grace at gunpoint. He says they will be free to go when a mutual friend of there's comes up with the money he owes, otherwise, things will get complicated. Further, he knows their families are loaded and the girls agree. The goon tells them to sit tight and behave. With that, he exits. Holly tells Arianna Grace she's only in this mess because of her. She explains her connection to 'this guy' who owes a lot of money to loan sharks. Arianna thinks it's a weird coincidence as the guy she's seeing also owes money. Holly asks his name and Arianna replies, Doug Williams. She freaks out as they realize they were hooked up with the same guy. They begin to compare notes and Holly assures her that she and Doug were never hooking up nor in a relationship. Arianna is furious with Doug because he is the reason their lives are in danger. Arianna Grace always thought young Douglas was holding something back. She now thinks he was only with her because he couldn't be with Holly. They move back to talking about their current dilemma and how Doug doesn't have the money to pay the goons. Holly says she dropped her class ring in the alley which has her name on it. She then remembers Tate was waiting on them and should realize something is wrong. Salem Inn – Gwen's Room: Young Douglas poses as a bell boy and knocks on Gwen's door. As he is about to break in, Gwen shows up and asks what he is doing. Doug says he was delivering her room service. As Gwen is speaking, Doug notices she is wearing the necklace. Brady Pub: Outside, young Douglas spots the loan shark goon and throws him against a wall. He demands the girls be let go but the goon says he needs added incentive. Doug promises to get him the money, and the goon gives him until sun-up tomorrow. He tells him not to involve the police and exits. DiMera Mansion – Living Room: Gwen arrives and sees Kristen. The two embrace, giggle and begin to catch up. Gwen says she took Kristen's advice and appealed to the Von Leuschner's about Dimitri's inheritance. Now, she is filthy rich! Kristen is thrilled and asks why in the world she chose to return to Salem. Gwen says she has so many friends and family in Salem. Kristen thought her family hated her and she was pretty much her only friend, except Leo. Gwen notes she will never forgive Leo for messing around with her husband. Kristen assumed Dimitri would have divorced Gwen when he was released from prison. Gwen says he didn't and further, no one has heard from him. She says it doesn't matter as she is still a Von Leuschner and a DiMera. With that, she says she wants to move into the mansion. Kristen is uncertain as the mansion has recently been quite tension-filled. She says it's like a powder keg ready to explode. Just then, Belle storms in and grabs her purse. EJ follows and then Belle storms out. Kristen ribs her brother when he spots Gwen. He refers to her last name as Rizczech but she corrects him with Von Lueschner. She and Kristen giggle as Gwen says it's going to such fun living together under the same roof. Keep checking back for the latest Days of Our Lives recaps! ‘Unicorns' Review: Where Glitter Meets Grit
When Luke (Ben Hardy), a single dad in 'Unicorns,' meets Aysha (Jason Patel), a drag queen, Luke thinks Aysha is a cisgender woman. After they kiss, there's a palpable fear for Aysha's safety when Luke recoils at the sight of her Adam's apple. 'Unicorns,' directed by Sally El Hosaini and James Krishna Floyd, follows in the cinematic tradition of straight men bonding with L.G.B.T.Q. characters — this time arriving at a moment when drag performers face renewed attacks. Their unlikely encounter begins at a nightclub in East London, when Luke, a white working-class guy, accidentally stumbles into the underground 'gaysian' scene on his way to the bathroom. His eyes are fixed on Aysha, the night's star performer. But why would Aysha — who later says that she receives death threats for doing drag — seek him out not once, but twice? First, by running in front of his car after his agitated reaction to their kiss, and then by showing up at his car repair shop in Essex. None of this clicks with who we discover Aysha to be: guarded by necessity. Whether the later conflict involving queer infighting comes off as a thoughtless subversion of expectations depends on if you identify more with Luke or Aysha. More effective are the subtleties within their blossoming romance, like during a karaoke duet sequence that shows Luke softening to Aysha's charms. Hardy peels back the layers to reveal Luke's sexual awakening so viscerally that it's easier to overlook the film's narrative shortcuts. UnicornsNot rated. Running time: 1 hour 59 minutes. In theaters.

Dax Shepard posts a naked photo of Kristen Bell to celebrate her Emmy nomination
Kristen Bell was just nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for Nobody Wants This, and her husband Dax Shepard is feeling celebratory to say the least. The podcast host dropped a photo of Kristen doing yoga outside in what looks to be their backyard, and she's completely naked in just a pair of blue socks. "People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen's," Dax captioned the post. "This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!" Meanwhile, Kristen celebrated with photos of herself reacting to the news of her / Erin Foster's nominations, along with the caption "finding out I was nominated for an Emmy - finding out @erinfoster was nominated for an Emmy!!!!" Kristen is nominated alongside Ayo Edebiri for The Bear, Jean Smart for Hacks, Quinta Brunson for Abbott Elementary, and Uzo Aduba for The Residence. Nobody Wants This also earned nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor (Adam Brody!). Reminder that the show is gearing up for a second season that also stars Adam's real-life wife, Leighton Meester. Which will kinda be a Gossip Girl reunion! As Kristen put it, "I always recorded that show from Los Angeles. I never recorded it in New York, so I was never on set with any of them. It felt like we were in two different worlds. But I do know her socially, and obviously through Adam, and I was so genuinely excited that she said yes, because she's just such a lovely person."
