Man still in hospital a week after Wolverhampton weapon attack
A man who suffered life-threatening injuries during violence on a road in Wolverhampton is still in hospital more than a week later, police disorder, involving weapons, was on Parkfield Road in the early hours of 27 July during which the man, aged in his 20s, suffered serious head injuries and he was still getting hospital treatment on Sunday, as West Midlands Police made a fresh appeal for witnesses.A second man who also needed hospital treatment had since been men were arrested after the violence and released on bail. Det Insp Adam Keen said, as the scene of the violence was "a busy road even at night", they wanted to hear from any witnesses, especially if they had phone footage from 23:50-00:15 BST that night."We'd like to thank those people who have already helped with our enquiries and would urge anyone who is yet to speak to us to get in touch," he added. Man killed and three hurt in Birmingham three-vehicle crash
A man died and three people were hurt and taken to hospital in a crash involving three vehicles in Midlands Police said they were called to the crash on Stratford Road, at its junction with Ladypool Road, just before 23:50 BST on Friday.A 22-year-old man, who was the driver of a Vauxhall which was one of the three vehicles, was taken to hospital but later died, a spokesperson for the force other two vehicles involved were an Audi and a parked vehicle. Two seriously hurt after taxi and car crash at 3am in Birmingham
Three men have been taken to hospital after a crash involving a taxi and a car in services were called to Icknield Street, at its junction with Hingeston Street, Soho, shortly after 03:00 BST on Midlands Police said a man driving a Peugeot taxi and a man from a Volkswagen Golf were taken to hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.A second man from the Volkswagen Golf was also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries.
