Former Nickelodeon star is now unrecognizable two decades after he starred on the network
Devon Werkheiser was skyrocketed into the spotlight when he was cast in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide at only 12 years old.
The show, which premiered in 2004 and went on for three seasons before concluding in 2007, focused on Devon's character Ned Bigby as he created a guide to help middle school students survive.
It was a massive success and a huge staple in many people's childhoods, launching Devon into a huge star at a very young age.
But now, 22 years after it premiered, Devon, 34, looks completely different from his Nickelodeon days.
He's certainly all grown up, and he was recently spotted with a scruffy beard and mustache.
Before starring in Ned's Declassified, Devon had small roles in the war film We Were Soldiers and the TV movie Recipe for Disaster.
But his big break came when he acted in the beloved Nickelodeon series from 2004 until 2007.
After that, his career took off. He went on to land roles in the comedy film The Prankster, the thriller Beneath the Darkness, horror flick The Wicked, psychological thriller California Scheming, ABC Family series Greek, and crime drama Crown Vic.
Most recently, he starred in the controversial western film Rust, the movie in which Alec Baldwin tragically shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
In addition to acting, Devon launched his own podcast with his former Ned's Declassified costars Lindsey Shaw and Daniel Curtis Lee called Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide in 2023.
It features them re-watching the show from start to finish while discussing the episodes together and reminiscing about their time on the show.
He has also dabbled in music, releasing three EPs from 2013 to 2020.
In addition, he dropped an EP under the name Good/Vlly in 2023 that had a more electronic sound than his past music.
Last year, Devon became embroiled in scandal after he, along with Lindsey, and Daniel, appeared to make light of Drake Bell's claims that he was sexually abused during his years on Nickelodeon.
Drake alleged that he was the victim of 'unspeakable' and 'brutal' sexual abuse at the hands of his former dialogue coach Brian Peck in the docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.
The trio was seen laughing as they declared how their 'set was not like that' during a TikTok live.
'Daniel, we told you never to speak about that. Get back in your hole, Daniel, and give me your holes,' Devon quipped, before immediately backpedaling on the insensitive remark. 'Sorry, we shouldn't joke about this. We really shouldn't.'
Drake slammed the stars afterwards, writing, 'Ned's Declassless… this is wild… laugh it up guys… laugh it up… "Give me your h*les?!" Really?!'
The trio went on to issue an apology, claiming the comments had been taken out of context.
'If you haven't seen the clip, if you haven't seen what's going on, we were on a TikTok Live being asked to comment on the Quiet on Set documentary, which we hadn't seen, and a super s**t joke came out that was referenced at Daniel and looked like I was talking about Drake,' Devon explained.
'We f**ked up. I get it. We hadn't seen the doc and everyone was asking us for our opinions on it.'
The actor later admitted that he 'felt like a piece of s**t' after the Drake & Josh star called them 'declassless' and slammed them for 'laughing' at his trauma.
'I know it looks like I'm laughing at this and I f**king wasn't, but I know what it looks like, and that Drake saw it … yeah,' he clarified.
'I just felt so f**king awful, knowing that Drake saw us in that context.'

Lively is bound by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure like every litigant.' Lively is preparing to answer tough questions from Baldoni's legal team as she tries to nail down a venue for the deposition. Her legal team is hoping to schedule the deposition at a New York City location that will minimize publicity amid the whirlwind trial. The proposed venue's exact address was redacted in Friday court filings obtained by DailyMail. In a moment of snark, Baldoni's attorney Bryan previously told TMZ that Lively's deposition should be live-streamed to an audience at Madison Square Garden. Freedman's suggestion, which Lively's attorney shot down as a publicity-seeking distraction, was to sell tickets to the event and donate the proceeds to domestic violence victims. Lively and Baldoni butted heads while filming the romantic drama last year, and things turned litigious in December when the Gossip Girl alum sued the actor for alleged sexual harassing and engineering a retaliatory smear campaign against her In June, Lively suffered a setback in the case when a judge denied her attorneys' application for a protective order seeking to block her text messages with Taylor Swift from being entered as evidence. Baldoni's team subpoenaed Lively for text messages, emails and any other messages between her and Swift. His lawyers have subsequently been allowed to pore through the text trail, with all communications related to It Ends With Us set for scrutiny. Sources close to Swift insisted the singer had no knowledge of the meeting and simply arrived to find it underway. Elmo's X account posts series of vile messages after mystery hacker targets Sesame Street social media
The social media site X was abuzz Sunday after an account for the famed Sesame Street Muppet Elmo was hacked, leading to a series of shocking posts targeting Jewish people and trolling Donald Trump. A rep for Sesame Workshop confirmed the digital security breach to Daily Mail Sunday evening. 'Elmo's X account was compromised today by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts,' the rep said. 'We are working to restore full control of the account.' The account for Elmo, under the handle @elmo, has more than 639,800 followers, and has been on the platform since November of 2012. 'Elmo lives on Sesame Street and was told to tell you that Elmo is official!' a bio line on the social media page reads. On Sunday, it was clear the account had been commandeered by rogue actors, as a series of messages posted called for violence against Jewish people. The post repeated a series of antisemitic tropes and called for harm against Jewish people. The post also took aim at the president, saying, ' DONALD TRUMP IS NETANYAHU'S PUPPET BECAUSE HE IS IN THE EPSTEIN FILE. One message tagged in President Donald Trump that read: 'RELEASE THE FILES @readDonaldTrump CHILD F***ER.' The hacker also peppered in more offensive responses: When one person expressed their frustration with the posts from the account, a response read, 'F*** are you gonna do n****.' When another person said they were going to mute the Elmo account, a response from the Elmo account read, 'F*** you and your t***** daughter.' The unlikely hack and subsequent shock messages led for Elmo to become a trending topic on the platform, with a number of different takes on the incident. The account for Elmo, under the handle @elmo, has more than 639,800 followers, and has been on the platform since November of 2012 'Hacking the official Elmo account gotta be one of the most diabolical things this app has ever seen,' one response read. A few people made reference to rapper Kanye West's history of antisemitic X posts, which he has since distanced himself from. 'Kanye and Elmo should collab sometime,' one user said, while another asked, 'Who let Kanye on Elmo's account?' One user posted a long-circulating meme of the Sesame Street character standing in front of flames to aptly summarize the situation with the hacker.
