Hodeida electricity commemorates Al-Sarkah anniversary

Saba Yemen06-05-2025
Hodeida - Saba:
The branches of the Public Electricity Corporation and the Rural Electricity Authority in Hodeida province organized a speech event on Tuesdsy to mark Al-Sarkah anniversary in the Face of the Arrogant, under the title "A Slogan is a Weapon and a Stance."
During the event, the province's deputy for services affairs, Mohammed Halisi, emphasized that Al-Sarkah represented a shift in collective consciousness and broke the barrier of silence in the face of the arrogance of hegemonic powers. He highlighted the importance of recalling its significance in strengthening resilience and reviving the revolutionary spirit to confront aggression and siege.
Halisi described the anniversary as a renewed opportunity to galvanize efforts and fortify institutions against soft infiltration, amid the challenges imposed by aggression and blockade.
For his part, Engineer Ahmed Rowdan, Director-General of the Electricity Corporation branch, noted that commemorating Al-Sarkah within state institutions embodies loyalty to the Quranic project and reinforces faith-based identity in the work environment. He added that the slogan carries a conscious stance toward the nation's major causes.
In a speech delivered by Mohammed Al-Wafi, scholars addressed the slogan of Al-Sarkah , its connection to the principle of allegiance and disavowal. He pointed out that the slogan emerged at a pivotal moment as a cultural weapon against intellectual invasion and media deception.
Al-Wafi stressed the need to translate the essence of Al-Sarkah into practical stances, including opposing normalization, rejecting subordination, and standing with the oppressed—foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the aggression faced by Gaza.
The event, attended by Najeeb Adnan, Director of the Rural Electricity Authority branch, along with deputy directors of the electricity corporation, department heads, and employees, featured a poetic recital and a choral performance that reflected the significance of the occasion.

Sana'a: Women's events mark Imam Al-Hadi's arrival, show solidarity with Gaza

Sana'a – Saba: The Women's Authority in the districts of New Sana'a and Sanhan organized two events commemorating the anniversary of Imam Al-Hadi's (peace be upon him) arrival in Yemen, under the slogan 'Imam of Knowledge and Jihad.' The events emphasized that commemorating Imam Al-Hadi's arrival is an opportunity to draw inspiration from his values of justice and effective leadership. His journey, scholarly contributions, and efforts in establishing justice and confronting tyranny and corruption were highlighted as foundations for a state of truth and fairness. The speakers noted that Imam Al-Hadi arrived during a time of fragmentation and conflict and succeeded in ushering Yemen into a new era of unity, truth, and knowledge—setting a model for the revival of the Muslim nation through the path of the Prophet Muhammad's family (peace be upon them). Following the events—which included chants and artistic segments—women from Sanhan and New Sana'a held two rallies in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in support of Gaza. They condemned the crimes of starvation and murder committed by the Israeli enemy and expressed support for the operations of Yemen's armed forces in backing Gaza. The participants affirmed that the Yemeni people's support for Palestine stems from the path of justice and jihad laid by Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him). Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Hamas calls US envoy's visit to Gaza pre-planned theater to mislead public opinion

Doha – Saba: Hamas has condemned the visit of US envoy Steve Witkoff to Gaza's aid distribution centers, describing it as a staged act to mislead the public and whitewash the image of the Israeli occupation. Hamas accused the visit of providing political cover for Israeli occupation's policy of starvation and ongoing systematic killings of Palestinian civilians, particularly children. The movement highlighted that despite Witkoff's statements and staged footage showing peaceful aid distribution, the reality on the ground tells of over 1,300 starving civilians killed by Israeli enemy nazi forces and the so-called 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.' Hamas held the US fully complicit in the starvation and mass killing crimes and urged Washington to end its support for Israel's aggression by pushing for a ceasefire, Israeli occupation withdrawal, and lifting of the siege on Gaza. Oman's Grand Mufti calls for protection of aid to Gaza & end to looting

Muscat – Saba: The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, issued a humanitarian appeal on Saturday to international and Islamic organizations to safeguard the aid reaching the Gaza Strip and prevent it from falling into the hands of looters. In a post on the social media platform 'X,' Sheikh Al-Khalili stated: "We appeal to the organizations working to deliver food and medicine to besieged Gaza to take all necessary precautions to prevent this aid from being hijacked by pirates." He warned that these looters "lie in wait to exploit the dire needs of Gaza's people, selling the aid at exorbitant prices that residents cannot afford — benefiting themselves instead of those in desperate need." He continued: 'We urge the international community to intervene decisively to protect the people of Gaza and ensure aid reaches them. We also call on all parties to sever the hands of those pirates who seek to steal this assistance unjustly.' Concluding his statement, the Grand Mufti said: "We especially address Muslims with this appeal — this is a responsibility placed upon their shoulders. They are accountable before God for the suffering and starvation of Gaza's people. They must not turn away from this duty. We also call upon all people of conscience around the world — they are worthy of responding to this cause." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
