Hamas: Zionist Enemy's abduction of Dr. Al-Hams is escalation in targeting Gaza's Medical Sector

Gaza – SABA: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the Zionist enemy's abduction of Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, director of field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, calling it a continuation of the systematic criminal targeting of the medical sector and its personnel—through killing, arrest, or intimidation. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas denounced the Israeli forces for kidnapping Dr. Al-Hams and opening fire directly on the ambulance transporting him and his companions during his visit to a field hospital affiliated with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Rafah City. Hamas held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for his life, along with the lives of hundreds of detained medical professionals held under inhumane conditions. The movement called on the international community and its institutions—particularly the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization—to condemn this crime, pressure for the release of detained doctors, and confront the genocidal war that continues to target all aspects of life in Gaza. Gaza Health: Medical staff prisoners are experiencing tragic conditions in Zionist enemy prisons

Gaza - Saba: The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed on Monday that detained members of medical teams in Zionist enemy prisons are enduring dire and tragic conditions. In a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the ministry stated that the Zionist enemy imposes severe restrictions on prisoners in general, and even harsher measures on those from medical teams in particular. The ministry reported that the lawyer of Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya described, during her latest visit, the brutal treatment he is subjected to during interrogation, including continuous beatings and deliberate denial of medical care. According to the lawyer, Dr. Abu Safiya—who has been detained since December 27 of last year—has lost 40 kilograms of weight and suffers from high blood pressure and a weakened heart muscle. The ministry pointed out that 360 health workers have been arrested since the beginning of the genocide in the Gaza Strip, noting that among the detainees are experienced doctors with vital specializations, depriving patients and the wounded of critical medical care. The Ministry of Health called on relevant international bodies to urgently intervene to criminalize the enemy's practices against detained medical personnel and to pressure for their immediate release. Gaza-based Kuwait Hospital suffers fuel shortage

Gaza - Saba: The Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that a fuel shortage threatens to shut down the hospital within 48 hours. In a press statement, the hospital explained that due to the severe fuel shortage, it will begin gradually reducing its services, starting with halting surgeries and reducing ambulance services to only the most urgent cases. It will also reduce operating hours in the radiology and laboratory departments. The statement warned that the hospital is suffering from a severe shortage of most essential medicines, hindering the provision of necessary healthcare and putting the lives of the wounded, patients with chronic diseases, pregnant women, and children at grave risk. This serious deterioration in fuel and medical supply stocks comes amid the complete closure of the crossings, the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the prevention of the entry of fuel, medical, and humanitarian supplies. The hospital warned that its cessation of operations would mean a health disaster threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients and wounded who visit it, especially in the Al-Mawasi area in the southern Gaza Strip, which is teeming with approximately 700,000 displaced persons and residents. The hospital called on relevant authorities and international and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action to provide the necessary fuel, medical supplies, and food to ensure the continuity of healthcare and save the lives of patients and the wounded. The health system in the Gaza Strip has been facing a systematic war waged by the Israeli occupation army since the beginning of the aggression, which has prevented the entry of medicines, medical supplies, medical equipment, generators, and baby formula into the Strip. Warnings are escalating of an imminent humanitarian disaster threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents of the Gaza Strip as a result of the continued stifling blockade imposed by the Zionist enemy since March 2.
