Buzzing Brits got a right royal treat as the Red Arrows kicked off their summer 2025 season with a breathtaking flypast over Buckingham Palace to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Crowds packed the streets of London to watch the legendary RAF display team roar over the capital - kicking off months of high-flying action across the UK.
The Red Arrows' Hawk T1 jets, known for their iconic red, white and blue smoke trails, can hit dizzying speeds of 660mph and even break the sound barrier in a dive.
But it's not just for show - that vibrant vapour helps the pilots judge wind direction and stay in tight formation after splitting apart at eye-watering speeds.
Behind the scenes, it takes an army to keep the jets soaring — 11 elite pilots, backed by 100 engineers and support crew, nicknamed the 'Circus' for their precision teamwork.
Only the best of the best get to join - Red Arrow hopefuls must clock at least 1,500 flying hours, complete an operational tour, and be rated 'above average' in the air.
Here's where you can catch their sky-high stunts this summer...

Let's hope the skies stay clear - because just on Saturday, the Red Arrows were forced to pull the plug on a much-anticipated display at Old Buckenham Airshow due to bad weather.
The cancellation left thousands of fans gutted, with organisers confirming the team wouldn't fly amid safety concerns caused by poor visibility and unpredictable conditions.
They took to social media to post: "Sadly, the RAF Red Arrows have been cancelled today due to the deteriorating conditions.
"Safety is paramount and just announced by Red 10.
"We have managed to have more than half of the acts display, and thank you all for your support."
It's a reminder that even the mightiest jets are at the mercy of the British weather.
So, fingers crossed for blue skies at their upcoming shows.

Find out which A-list rapper and singer appeared in the ring at WWE's Summerslam STAR'S NEW TRACK Rita Ora teams up with Netflix to secretly record new song for massive series Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) RITA ORA sure has her fingers in a lot of pies. I can reveal the singer/actress/presenter has recorded a new song for the upcoming second series of Netflix hit Love Is Blind UK. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up Sources tell me Joy is a powerful track about finding inner peace and is expected to be released in the coming days. Rather than being on her upcoming fourth album, Joy will be a stand-alone song that will debut in a TV trailer for the dating show then drop on Spotify and Amazon Music. A source said: 'It's no secret that Rita loves love so she jumped at the chance to record a track for Love Is Blind UK. Joy is very much a mini side-project rather than being part of the new album. 'The song will be used on the show and be available to stream but there are no plans for a video or to send it to radio.' Honestly, I don't know when Rita finds the time. 7 Rita Ora has recorded a new song for the upcoming second series of Netflix hit Love Is Blind UK Credit: Getty MARIAH'S PRIDE 'N' JOY 7 Mariah Carey glitters as she hits the stage to headline Brighton Pride Credit: Getty 7 American diva Mariah in a shiny ombre dress and pink jacket Credit: Getty MARIAH CAREY glittered in front of thousands of fans in four different figure-hugging outfits as she hit the stage to headline Brighton Pride. The American diva arrived in a shiny ombre dress and pink jacket, which featured the phrase 'protect the dolls' on the back, as she pledged her support to the trans community. Later, during her 90-minute set, she changed into another dazzling minidress, as well as a gold shift and floor-length black gown. Mariah told the crowd: 'The LGBTQ+ family, both as a community and as individuals have been here for me for so long. I just want you to know that I'll always, always be there for you.' Mariah Carey, 56, wears FOUR figure-hugging outfits and puts on leggy display as she headlines Brighton Pride The show, which featured hits including Fantasy and her new single Sugar Sweet, topped off a day of festivities, ahead of the second day yesterday which was headlined by Sugababes. The rapper looked ready for take-off as she entered the ring to kick off the opening night of the WWE Summerslam 2025 wrestling extravaganza in New Jersey on Saturday. But rather than singing or fighting, Cardi was simply there to launch the event, teasing music from her upcoming second album Am I The Drama? As she strutted to the ring, a new Cardi track was blasted through the stadium, sending fans into a meltdown online. Her long-awaited follow-up to 2018's Invasion Of Privacy is out on September 19. Hope it's worth the wait. GAGA IN TRIBUTE TO OZZY 7 Lady Gaga reached out to Kelly Osbourne's family Credit: Getty DESPITE being in the middle of a world tour, Lady Gaga is finding time to support others. I'm told she was so moved by the death of Ozzy Osbourne that she sent a huge bouquet to his grieving wife Sharon and the family. The move is a full-circle moment for the two women after Sharon branded the hitmaker an attention-seeker in 2013. That came after Gaga locked horns with her daughter Kelly Osbourne after she criticised the singer for not stopping to greet fans. A source said: 'The flowers must have cost hundreds but Gaga wanted to reach out. 'Gaga has always been a huge fan of Ozzy and the Osbournes – before she was famous she even used to strip to Black Sabbath's Black Sabbath. "She once told Ozzy – he found it hilarious.' The kind gesture comes after Gaga closed her San Francisco show last month by belting out Ozzy's 1980 hit Crazy Train as a tribute. CHAPPELL SLINKS IN 7 Chappell Roan slipped into Oasis's latest London gig undetected Credit: Getty - Contributor SHE'S one of the biggest stars on the planet, but Chappell Roan was able to slip into Oasis's latest London gig undetected. The singer, who released new single The Subway last week, was seen in the crowd at Wembley on Saturday – singing away to the hits. Frank Lampard and Nicole Appleton also snubbed a swanky suite to mix with regular fans. OASIS fever is still sweeping the UK. Yesterday the Y Not Festival in Derbyshire was forced to upgrade tribute act Noasis to the main stage. They were due to play an 800-capacity slot but bosses had a rethink after more than double that number of guests saved the slot on their festival app. The Diana Mixtape musical @ Outernet, London ★★★★☆ 7 Hear'Say's Noel Sullivan and actress Lucinda Lawrence Credit: Supplied YOU might think a stage musical about Princess Diana would be sad, yet The Diana Mixtape is anything but. With five world-class drag queens from RuPaul's Drag Race playing the People's Princess while singing classics from Kylie, Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish, it's utterly joyous from start to finish. The crowd at Outernet London lapped it up. A shout out also needs to go to Hear'Say's Noel Sullivan and actress Lucinda Lawrence, for their Charles and Camilla romp to Dua Lipa's Physical. Hilarious. Greatest Showman star Keala Settle brought even more fun as Elizabeth II, but ultimately it was the queens who shone brightest. It's on at Outernet until Sunday then The Lowry, Salford, from August 19-21. OLIVIA RODRIGO's 2021 album Sour is still breaking records. The release has become the first album on Spotify to have four songs with more than two billion streams each. Traitor, Drivers License, Deja Vu and Good 4 U have all passed the milestone. Not bad for an album the US star wrote when she was just 17.

Scots Oasis fans warned not to travel to Murrayfield without ticket after 'Gallagher Hill' incident
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) TICKETLESS Oasis fans have been warned to steer clear of Edinburgh this weekend ahead of the band's three sold out shows. The Britpop legends are set to storm the capital next week with three shows at Murrayfield on August 8, 9 and 12. But fans who didn't manage to bag tickets have been told by council chiefs that they must stay away from the venue. And city bosses, desperate to avoid chaos, are urging fans to only travel to the stadium or nearby areas if they've got a ticket. Council boss Cllr Jane Meagher said: 'Excitement is building in Edinburgh for Oasis Live 25 as it's our turn to witness rock history. "With all of our partners in the city we've been planning for this for some time to make sure we're ready to welcome thousands of Oasis fans over three nights. "We're urging people to only travel to Murrayfield and the surrounding area if you have a ticket.' It comes after killjoy council bosses in Manchester tried to stop fans congregating on Heaton Park's 'Gallagher Hill' for Oasis' triumphant final concert. The council's actions irked caught the attention of Liam, 52 and Noel, 58, who went to special lengths to honour those gathered on "the hill". The brothers sent more than 1,000 special T-shirts to delighted fans during their final Heaton Park show after woke Manchester City Council chiefs decided to erect an enormous fence on the hill to stop fans without tickets from seeing the enormous screens that showed the brothers playing. A source said: 'Noel and Liam wanted to do something to honour their fans who'd been given a kick in the teeth from the council. Music fans set for frenzy as huge pop-up store offering exclusive merch ahead of shows to open in Dublin city in DAYS 'Their fans had gathered on the hill to listen to the show if they didn't have tickets and those in a good position could get a sight of the screens until the council bores tried to stop the fun. 'Noel and Liam wanted to make a point to their fans who couldn't get tickets so had these T-shirts made especially for them. During the final two concerts over the weekend, Liam shouted out to those gathered there before playing their fifth track on the set list, 1994's Bring It On Down. On Saturday he told fans: 'If you lot are listening on the hill... Bring It On Down.' Edinburgh city chiefs have confirmed extra public transport will be laid on to ensure fans get to and from the gigs with ease. ScotRail is laying on late-night services to Glasgow, Dundee, Dunblane, and Perth, while Haymarket Station is bracing for mad-for-it madness. Officials reckon it'll be heaving in the afternoon and early evening, so punters are being told to travel on foot if they can. Cllr Jane Meagher added: "There will be extra trains, trams, and buses to accommodate concert goers, along with those attending our summer festivals. With this in mind, we urge you to plan ahead.' 'We are keen for everyone to have an enjoyable experience, not only at the show, but on their way before and after. 'Whilst we relish hosting the biggest and best events and want everyone attending to truly enjoy themselves, it's important that we remember our residents. "We ask that visitors are considerate and respectful of them whilst enjoying our fantastic capital city."

Jack Osbourne's relatively unknown siblings as he returns to TV
Jack Osbourne's relatively unknown siblings as he returns to TV As the Osbourne family mourn the loss of their beloved husband and father, Ozzy Osbourne, we take a look at his relationships with his six children The Osbourne family is mourning the loss of their beloved patriarch, Ozzy Osbourne, who sadly passed away at the age of 76 on 22 July. The cause of death has not been confirmed, but it's known that the Black Sabbath frontman had been battling Parkinson's disease since February 2019, which significantly impacted his health in recent years. As they grapple with their loss, Ozzy's youngest son, Jack, is set to return to television just days after his father's passing, as he competes in the fifth series of ITV's celebrity cooking competition, Cooking with the Stars. The show, hosted by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, was pre-recorded before Ozzy's untimely death. Jack will compete against a host of celebrities including Love Island star Ekin-Su, EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy and former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips. Each celebrity is paired with a culinary expert who guides them through each round. However, those with the lowest scores face a cook-off and receive no help from their mentors, who can only watch from the sidelines. In a cruel twist, the mentors of those in the bottom two will have to participate in a blind taste test to decide who progresses to the next round, potentially sending their own protege home. Jack Osbourne's five other siblings (Image: Getty) Sharon Osbourne breaks down in tears as she views tributes to Ozzy during procession READ MORE: Jack, a podcaster who is no stranger to television appearances, will feature on the show this Sunday, reports the Express. Throughout Ozzy's life, unbeknownst to many, the rockstar actually fathered six children, meaning that Jack has five other siblings - not just Kelly, who is widely recognised as his sister from their time together on MTV's At Home with the Osbournes. Before Sharon and Ozzy tied the knot, the Black Sabbath legend had been previously married. He met his first wife Thelma Riley in a Birmingham nightclub before they exchanged vows and welcomed two biological children together, Jessica, 53, and Louis, 50. Sharon and Ozzy are parents to Aimee, Kelly and Jack (Image: Getty) Thelma was also the mother of five year old Elliot from a previous relationship when she met the lead singer. Ozzy would later adopt Elliot and raise him as his own. However, the three children do not have fond childhood memories with their daredevil father and in a 2011 documentary (produced by Jack Osbourne) when Ozzy is asked about Louis and Jessica's birthdays, he fails to remember when each of them were born. In the same series, Louis revealed details about growing up with Ozzy: "When he was around and he wasn't [drunk], he was a great father. But that was kind of rare, really. I just have a lot of memories of him being drunk, random s**t like driving cars across fields and crashing them in the middle of the night and stuff like that. "It's not good for family life, really," he explained in the documentary. His elder sister, Jessica also remarked: "I don't remember being put to bed or having a bath by dad or anything like that. I wouldn't say he was there for us, no, never on sports day, school trip, parents' evening. He wasn't like that, no." The Osbourne family is actually much bigger than most would think (Image: Getty) In 1982, Ozzy and Thelma divorced and that same year he wed Sharon, who was his manager at the time. Twelve months later, they had their first daughter Aimee on September 2nd 1983, followed by their second daughter Kelly on October 27, 1984. They eventually had their youngest child, Jack on November 8, 1985. Whilst many admirers know two of Sharon and Ozzy's offspring - Jack and Kelly - Aimee chose to stay out of the spotlight when the former X Factor panellist decided to allow MTV's cameras into her house. Refusing to participate in filming, she left the family residence in the early 2000s to follow her own musical ambitions, performing under her initials ARO. In a previous chat with the Independent, she looked back on her choice to step away. She confessed to the magazine: "Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television? I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable." In a 2008 interview with the same publication, Aimee defended her decision, saying: "I'm not some weirdo depressed daughter that's afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day. I just didn't choose to do the show. I want to be a singer, and I felt if I'd stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing I would have been typecast right away. "[Sharon] was hurt, and we definitely had a tough time with disagreements. I'm more reserved and my private life is very important." Article continues below In 2021, it emerged that Sharon's two daughters were actually estranged from one another. Discussing her relationship with Aimee on the Dax Shepard podcast, Kelly admitted: "We don't talk. We're just really different. She doesn't understand me and I don't understand her." Despite the tension between the two sisters, it appears that Aimee has a much stronger bond with her younger brother Jack, as they both co-run the production company Osbourne Media together. Cooking with the Stars kicks off on Sunday, August 3 at 8pm on ITV1.
