M&S launches new ‘epic' sweet treat rivalling iconic US brand and shoppers are drooling
MARKS and Spencer's have launched an 'epic' sweet treat which rivals an iconic American snack. Another shopper even said that they are 'better' than similar cookies on the market. 3 3 The brand new M&S cookies have both a topping and a filling, just like products from Ben's Cookies and Crumbl Cookies. Costing just £2, the M&S Chunked N' Loaded cookies also come in three flavours. The Raspberry Cheesecake and Chocolate & Hazelnut flavours have flown off the shelves, but shoppers are particularly excited about the pistachio flavour. One TikToker raved: 'For someone who had a crumbl cookie, these are better.' Another said: 'It's like a Ben's Cookie, it's literally the same texture… it's a throwback. 'It's not dry at all, squidgy centre, crunchy outside.' A fellow social media user even described them as 'epic'. The delicious snacks are made freshly in M&S' famed in-store bakeries. The supermarket chain's bakery regularly goes viral for its incredible baked goods, with thousands of customers rushing to buy the Eton Mess Milkshake. A twist on the dessert dish, the milkshake combines raspberry and strawberry flavours and is topped with whipped cream, dried raspberries and meringue. It costs just £4.25 to buy and is part of M&S' summer menu. The supermarket has also added a strawberry matcha to its menu, along with a cake based on the one featured in the Mathilda movie. The news comes after Dubai-style chocolate became a huge hit online, with hundreds of brands incorporating the pistachio-flavoured sweet treat into their products. Lidl launched a Dubai-style chocolate cream in May, while Aldi have started selling their own bar for just £3.99. Meanwhile, Waitrose were forced to impose a two-bar limit on its Dubai-style chocolate bars as fans were taking so many of them home. Signs quickly began to appear in stores, which read: 'No more than 2 bars per person please… because we want everyone to have the chance to enjoy our delicious chocolate. 'Thank for your understanding." A spokesperson for the brand added: 'Due to the incredible popularity of this product, we want to make sure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to try it.'

Love Island fans tear into Dejon's sneaky 'game plan' as he makes a HUGE recoupling decision before his Casa Amor antics were exposed
Love Island's much-anticipated Casa Amor recoupling was always bound to cause drama, with a string of new couples throwing the villa into chaos. But for one hunk, it appeared all too easy to stick with familiar territory, and Dejon Noel-Williams returned to the villa to reunite with Meg Moore, leaving viewers quick to clock his 'game plan.' Despite being tempted to recouple with Andrada Pop, Dejon made a surprise solo return to the villa, with Meg visibly relieved, after she told the girls she had begun to doubt his commitment to her. But Dejon's excitement to be reunited with Meg was short-lived, as just minutes later, Andrada made a surprise return to the villa, having coupled up with Ben Holbrough. Upon her return, Andrada was quick to allude that Dejon hadn't been as loyal to Meg as she may have thought, but noted that it was 'nothing more than a few chats, and nothing disrespectful.' Andrada's admissions left a few unanswered questions lingering in the air, with a visibly furious Meg's doubts making a quick return. Despite being tempted to recouple with Andrada Pop, Dejon made a surprise solo return to the villa, with Meg visibly relieved, after she told the girls she had begun to doubt his commitment After the recoupling, viewers quickly took to X to call out Dejon's move, insisting he was clearly sticking with Meg in a bid to progress on the show. Posts on X included: 'Ohhh Dejon! We ALL see through your game plan. You ain't fooling anyone... but Meg!' 'Please let Ben bring Andreda back or whatever her name is. Dejon putting on this act after studying the show. He can't win;' 'Dejon thinks he's going to win by being with Meg from beginning to end;' 'Harry and Dejon know what game they're playing. Did he not say he wasn't even missing her. Bye man;' 'I genuinely believe Harry Dejon Meg and Helena had a plan to stick;' 'Harry and Dejon both sticking to their girls after moving mad in Casa... okay;' In recent days, the boys moved to Casa Amor but not until the girls had the chance to eye up their competition, and for the first time in the show's history were introduced to the women tasked with taking their men away. After the recoupling, viewers quickly took to X to call out Dejon's move, insisting he was clearly sticking with Meg in a bid to progress on the show In the main villa, Megan begun to doubt her connection with Dejon and during Tuesday's instalment, she broke down in tears. Megan and Dejon have remained together since the beginning of the series and their romance has been tested on multiple occasions. Harry was left stunned when his ex-girlfriend Emma Munro entered the villa as one of the Casa Amor bombshells. Harry was coupled up with air stewardess Helena Ford before moving onto Shakira Khan and then going back to Helena, who claims they have an 'undeniable connection.' The brothers will play their first hometown show since their split this week Aldi has declared a strict one-per-person limit on a new £14.95 item which has been launched in one of its Manchester stores today. Customers will only be permitted to purchase one of the store's new limited-edition Supernova Champagne bottles, which have been released today in Aldi's Bury New Road branch ahead of Oasis' upcoming Manchester gigs. The unveiling of the £14.95 bottles coincides with Oasis kicking off their reunion tour on Friday in Cardiff, at the Principality Stadium. As the brothers are next set to perform in Manchester for their first hometown show since their split this week, the commemorative bottles have been exclusively released in Aldi's Bury New Road - just a short distance from Heaton Park where the brothers will first perform on Friday, July 11. Stay connected with our City Life newsletter here, reports the Manchester Evening News. With the bottles in limited supply, shoppers have been encouraged to act quickly to secure one of the celebratory drinks. However, Aldi hopes that by enforcing a one-per-customer rule on the bottles, as many Oasis fans as possible will be able to get their hands on the drink. The new bottles have been crafted using Aldi's award-winning Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut, with the bottle receiving a new 'Supernova' design to commemorate Oasis's popular Britpop hit. With the bottles unveiled in-store today, July 7, Oasis fans have already been flocking to the store's Bury New Road branch to pick up one of the keepsakes themselves. One eager fan from Manchester, Derrick Smith, remarked: "I left at quarter past six and waited an hour before the store opened – the bottle looks amazing." Other enthusiasts have also reported travelling from beyond Greater Manchester to snag the exclusive beverage. A devoted Oasis follower, Jack Blake, shared: "I drove from London for the Champagne after I saw the post. I thought, I must try and get a bottle!" Regarding the launch, Julie Ashfield, Aldi UK's Chief Commercial Officer, mentioned: "We're thrilled to launch Supernova Champagne, a special, limited-edition rebrand of our award-winning Veuve Monsigny. "We're offering shoppers a unique and memorable way to raise a glass to this iconic moment in music history." The unveiling of the commemorative drink takes place at Aldi's Bury New Road store in Prestwich, which has been temporarily renamed 'Aldeh' in a nod to the Mancunian accent ahead of Oasis' gigs at Heaton Park. Aldi's one-of-a-kind Supernova Champagne has hit the shelves at the Bury New Road, Manchester store as of today, priced at £14.95, available only while stocks last.
