The Abu Dhabi Police have shared a video of drivers making sudden swerves on the road, causing accidents and traffic disruptions. One incident in the video shows a car making a sudden swerve and speeding through an exit, toppling a road sign in the process. Another showed a driver trying to change lanes dangerously, nearly causing an accident and obstructing the way for other cars. The Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with the Monitoring and Control Center, as part of the "You Comment" initiative, broadcasted the video of accidents due to sudden deviation. The Directorate of Traffic and Security Patrols of Abu Dhabi Police has instructed drivers to avoid sudden deviation to catch the exit, and to avoid overtaking other vehicles incorrectly. "Ensure that the road is clear in case of overtaking or moving to another lane, and do not go between lanes in a reckless manner that puts the driver in danger," they said. 1 Aug 2025 12:54 ABU DHABI (WAM) Alpha Dhabi Holding has announced its financial results for the first half of 2025, reporting a net profit of Dh6.6 billion. Adjusted EBITDA rose to Dh8.7 billion, marking a 34 percent increase compared to the same period last Dhabi's sustained focus on capturing strategic opportunities and continued momentum in executing its strategy across key verticals is evident in the strong financial performance, with group revenue climbing to Dh35.9 billion, an increase of 23 percent group's financial position remains robust, with total assets of Dh198.4 billion and equity of Dh98.1 billion, as it delivers on the group's vision for 2030 by focusing on innovation, strategic growth, and community progressive diversification and expansion of Alpha Dhabi's investment portfolio have played a pivotal role in enhancing revenue generation and contributing to the growth. Noteworthy revenue contributions originated from key sectors within the portfolio, including industrial (Dh13.4 billion), real estate (Dh12.8 billion), construction (Dh6 billion), as well as services and other segments (Dh3.7 billion).Mohamed Thani Murshed Ghannam Al Rumaithi, Chairman of Alpha Dhabi Holding, said, 'We remained focused on building scale, creating synergies, and enabling innovation in the first half of 2025 to offer investors access to a diverse range of premium assets that matter to Abu Dhabi's economy. UAE's Mubadala Capital invests in US AI firm Anaconda's $150mln Series C

US-based artificial intelligence company Anaconda, Inc. has secured $150 million in a Series C funding round, with Mubadala Capital, the asset management arm of Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Co., named among the investors. The American firm, which works to advance AI with open source at scale, said the funding round was led by US software investor Insight Partners, with the capital to be invested in new AI features, strategic acquisitions, and to fuel its expansion into new markets. Founded in 2012, the company said it reported over $150 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) as of July 2025. The Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala's portfolio of AI investments include G42, the UAE-based artificial intelligence and cloud computing company. Mubadala is also a major shareholder in Space42, the ADX-listed space technology company that specialises in satellite communications and is powered by AI.
