Toyota Supports Ajarma's Journey to the World Cup Aboard a Land Cruiser Prado Markazia Toyota has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Jordanian adventurer Abdulsalam Al-Ajarmeh to support his initiative: 'The Loyalty Journey from Amman to the World Cup by Car.' The agreement was signed by Fares Haddad, General Manager of Markazia, in the presence of Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board. Al-Ajarmeh's journey is set to span over 60 countries across the globe over the course of one year, aboard the durable and reliable Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. The vehicle will serve as a mobile platform carrying the message 'Visit Jordan' in various languages. Promotional events about Jordan will be held in each destination, showcasing the country's tourism, economic, cultural, and investment potential, while also reflecting the kingdom's modern identity and celebrating the historic achievement of the Nashama national team. Commenting on the initiative, Haddad stated: 'We are proud to be part of this inspiring national initiative that reflects our pride in Jordan and our belief in supporting ambitious Jordanian youth. We are confident that the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will be the ideal companion for this long journey, thanks to its robustness and exceptional reliability. We wish Abdulsalam great success as he travels the world en route to America and Mexico to support the Nashama at the World Cup.' Dr. Arabiyat added: 'This initiative offers a unique and exceptional opportunity to promote Jordan on the global stage by passing through dozens of countries and engaging directly with their people. It highlights Jordan's rich tourism, cultural, and natural diversity. AMMAN — President of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) Hamdi Tabbaa on Wednesday met Rwandan Ambassador to the Kingdom James Ngango to discuss establishing a Jordan-Rwanda business council. The council aims to boost economic relations, facilitate 'deeper' business cooperation between the two countries, explore ways to expand cooperation between the private sectors of both countries and develop trade and investment exchanges, especially in priority sectors of mutual interest, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra. Tabbaa stressed the importance of building 'strategic' partnerships between businessmen in Jordan and Rwanda, calling for the need to organise "reciprocal" economic delegations to highlight promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom, particularly in the sectors of agriculture, tourism and pharmaceuticals. He also highlighted the significance of enhancing communication channels between the business communities of both countries to facilitate the exchange of expertise and enhancing cooperation. Ngango welcomed the proposal to establish a Jordan-Rwanda business council, expressing Rwanda's interest in boosting economic cooperation with Jordan. He highlighted his country's commitment to encouraging investors from both sides to explore the available investment opportunities, reinforcing the intent to expand bilateral economic ties and collaboration between the private sectors of both countries. The diplomat said that Jordan offers an attractive investment environment and encouraging incentives, while Rwanda provides a stimulating investment climate and various facilities for foreign investors. He stressed the importance of increasing the volume of trade between the two countries and providing appropriate frameworks to support cooperation. The trade volume between Jordan and Rwanda reached some $3.4 million in 2023, compared with $2.4 million in 2022, according to Petra.

These programs feature competitive subsidized interest rates, flexible repayment periods of up to 10 years, and free technical support to help guide companies through successful and sustainable project implementation. Moreover, clients receive a certificate of compliance with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, providing them with a competitive edge that enhances investor appeal and long-term success. This initiative is part of the bank's broader strategy to integrate sustainability into its core operations, reflecting its dedication to expanding its portfolio of financing tools that support sustainable growth.
