William & Kate's Friends Reveal the ‘Only Solution' for Their Feud With Harry & Meghan: 'It's Worked Before…'

Yahoo5 days ago
The royal feud just never seems to stop. Prince William and Kate Middleton might look towards their friends for some family advice, but the question is: will they follow it?
A friend of the Prince and Princess of Wales revealed to the Daily Beast that the feud is '100% Meghan's fault.' The source said, 'As Sally Bedell Smith's column made clear, he ain't the sharpest tool in the box, and they feel he was completely manipulated and that Meghan saw him and realized she could become the most famous person in the world. Then the reality of what their boring royal life would be like sunk in, and she decided to ruthlessly milk it for all it was worth. That is their view.'

The friend also added that the feud is reminiscent of an old royal feud. The family think it is a rerun of what happened with Wallis Simpson and Edward VIII, and the only solution is to follow the same playbook. Exile worked before, and it will work again.'More blows came from a royal courtier who said that Queen Elizabeth was extremely disappointed in Harry & Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. 'The queen felt betrayed by Harry, and when he and Meghan attacked the institution that she spent her whole life serving in the Oprah interview, that betrayal was complete. It was absolutely shocking to those of us that knew him that he would do that, not least because her husband was on his deathbed.'
A friend of the royals also added that she never anticipated the feud to carry on til her death. 'You have to remember [that] the queen was seriously ill for several years with bone cancer. She knew she was dying, she could hardly see, she could hardly stand, she could hardly move. And then she was completely let down by her grandson. It was utterly devastating for her.'
However, once William ascends to the throne, he aims to disown his brother from the royal family. 'It's no secret William wants Harry more harshly dealt with. He thinks he has betrayed the family from top to bottom, which is the ultimate Windsor crime. It wouldn't take much to provoke him to flex his muscles when he is king,' a palace insider told The Daily Beast then.

Prince Harry flies abroad for major engagement as Meghan Markle stays in the US for ‘safety'

Prince Harry has jetted off to Angola where he'll walk across explosive landmine sites as part of his work for the Halo Trust charity. The Duke of Sussex, 40, was notably solo when he landed in Central Africa Tuesday morning — as it emerged that his wife, Meghan Markle, stayed home in Montecito, Calif., for 'safety' reasons, according to the Daily Mail. Harry — who, like his late mother Princess Diana, has previously visited active landmine sites — arrived at Luanda airport before boarding a small aircraft to the danger zones. The late princess famously walked through a landmine field in a flak jacket and helmet just months before her untimely death later that year. 'Halo is really his thing, it means so much to him to be patron, and he just wants to keep his work with them to himself,' the insider added. 6 Sources claimed that the Duchess of Sussex didn't join her husband due to 'safety' concerns. The former actress previously missed a United Nations event in NYC last September, as well as Harry's 2019 trip to Angola with the same charity. Prince Harry broke this ‘cardinal rule' ahead of secret peace talks with King Charles's aides: expert

Prince Harry broke a 'cardinal rule' in the lead up to last week's secret peace talks between his communications team and King Charles's press rep, according to a royal expert. Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths claims the Duke of Sussex breached a fundamental royal protocol by publicly discussing private matters concerning his estranged family. After Harry aired out his family's dirty laundry on several public platforms — including the bombshell 2021 sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, his and Meghan Markle's tell-all Netflix series, and his memoir 'Spare,' the king is now very cautious when interacting with his youngest son, Griffiths claims. Advertisement 5 Prince Harry made a fatal error in the lead up to last week's secret peace talks between his communications team and King Charles's press rep, according to a royal expert. POOL/AFP via Getty Images 'I think he would be willing to meet his demands and it is a pretty simple demand, it is 'if I talk to you, can it not leak out on Oprah Winfrey or any other program?'' Griffiths said of the king's requirements for any future communication with the exiled royal. 'Harry really wants reconciliation and to be able to freely speak to his father, at the moment he cannot get through to his father, he has to go through his aides.' Advertisement 'What will definitely happen is some ground rules for communications. What Harry cannot do is repeat what goes on in private conversations,' she added. In an interview with the BBC in May, Harry said he would 'love a reconciliation' with his cancer-stricken father — but alluded to his health being far worse than His Majesty has let on. 'I don't know how much longer my father has,' Harry told the outlet, claiming the king 'won't speak' to him. 5 A royal commentator claimed that the Duke of Sussex breached a fundamental royal protocol by publicly discussing private matters concerning his estranged family. Getty Images According to Griffiths, Harry's choice of words weren't received well at Buckingham Palace. 'Harry said 'we don't know how much time my father has left' and that went down extremely badly, that's why this story is so surprising,' she said. 'He broke the cardinal rule which was speculating on the king's health.' The Invictus Games founder's fueling of public speculation about his ailing father was a clear violation of royal protocol, Griffiths adds. Instagram/@meghan While reps for the Sussexes, Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire were spotted chatting to Tobyn Andreae, the monarch's communications secretary, the meeting notably excluded Prince William and Princess Catherine's communications team. According to the royal commentator, the future king, 43, has no interest in mending fences with his estranged brother. Jesse Palmer Told Bachelor in Paradise Cast Not to Date Goldens

Bachelor in Paradise is here to fill the Love Island-shaped hole in our hearts, and it's already completely deranged per usual. This season is just as chaotic as ever, but there's a new twist: Bachelor and Bachelorette alums are joined by the 60+ year old cast of The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. And while technically a May-December romance is "allowed," apparently everyone was encouraged to stick to their age group. "I told everybody, as a group, we've got two generations sharing the beach—I can't tell anybody who to love and who they're not allowed to love," Jesse Palmer told TV Guide. "I encouraged them to stay in their generational lanes. And above everything, do not make it weird." He added, "If it does happen, as long as it's consensual, that's obviously a possibility. There are a lot of examples in the real world of different age ranges dating—we've seen successful examples of that. Again, as long as it's not weird, that's the most important thing." Meanwhile, showrunner Scott Teti spoke to Variety about the possibility of cross-generational romance, saying "They are all immersed in the same living area, but because of the way they were integrated, and when we brought the Goldens in, they stayed in their respective lanes. A lot of thought went into that. And that's not to say that it couldn't happen or it didn't happen, but largely speaking, they gravitated towards their own peers. There's a lot of camaraderie and partying and hijinks that goes on between all of them."
