39-year-old Fond du Lac woman seriously injured after being hit by delivery van, 2 others hurt
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, dispatchers received several 911 calls that reported a three-vehicle crash in Taycheedah at the intersection of U.S. Highway 151 and Golf Course Drive.

Officials from multiple agencies responded, and initial investigations indicate that a 36-year-old Green Bay man driving a delivery van/box truck struck an SUV driven by a 39-year-old Fond du Lac woman.
The woman reportedly was stopped attempting to make a left turn and head west, and upon being struck, the vehicle went into the southbound lane and hit an SUV driven by a 55-year-old Fond du Lac man.
The delivery driver was taken to a nearby medical center for evaluation, while the 55-year-old man was taken to another hospital for minor injuries. The woman was hospitalized and later transferred to Froedtert in Milwaukee for serious injuries.

The crash is still under investigation, as USH 151 between County Highways K and WH was closed for about 90 minutes.

Brown County Emergency Management apologizes for alert sent to people outside of warning area
DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – Brown County officials are apologizing to residents after an emergency alert was sent to people outside of the warning area on Wednesday morning. Brown County Emergency Management posted the apology about six minutes after the initial alert rang out on phones across the county at 10:02 a.m., stating the situation at . Wisconsin woman arrested on 14 counts of animal mistreatment after several dead animals found in home 'People outside the warning area got alerted,' the release said. 'We apologize for the unintended message if you received it.' An initial alert was issued to a small area; however, officials realized that people far outside the area had been alerted and a cancellation was sent. The situation at Scray Hill Park had quickly been resolved after the initial message, and then an all-call went out to ensure the area was safe. Those who got an incorrect alert were reportedly informed as well. Officials say that they are working with the federal partners that own the alert system to find out what caused the accidental overspray. The situation has been resolved. People outside the warning area got alerted. We apologize for the unintended message if you received it. To clarify, the first alert was issued to a small area, but it was immediately determined that others well outside that initial area were being alerted. Green Bay man sentenced to 5 years for reckless homicide in fatal 2023 Cass Street shooting
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The 25-year-old Green Bay man stemming from the 2023 Cass Street shooting was in court for sentencing on Wednesday afternoon. Court records show that Michael Putala was in court while in custody, along with his attorney, as he was sentenced to five years in prison and seven years of extended supervision. Brown County Emergency Management apologizes for alert sent to people outside of warning area Putala previously pleaded guilty in a deal that dismissed two charges of 1st-degree reckless endangering safety via a dangerous weapon. The deal convicted him of 2nd-degree reckless homicide for the shooting on July 14, 2023.
