Abhay Verma, best known for his breakout role in the horror comedy Munjya, celebrated his 27th birthday on July 27. The actor hosted a grand birthday bash at a posh restaurant in Mumbai. It was attended by several industry friends and celebrities. Nowadays, after his star-studded birthday celebration, Abhay took to Instagram to share the inside glimpse from the celebration, and it was nothing short of fun.
The video showed the birthday boy capturing the party vibes and heartfelt cheers for him. He was also seen cutting a beautiful blue birthday cake in the presence of celebrities like Mona Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, Bhagyashree Limaye, Ayush Mehra, Shantanu Maheshwari and others.
In the video, there were also candid moments of Abhay enjoying his special night and partying together with the guests like there's no tomorrow.
Alongside the fun-filled clip, Abhay Verma wrote, 'Apparently a lot of people were happy seeing me getting older! Thank you for all the love."

Abhay gained recognition with his performance in Munjya (2024). The film featured him as a young man, Bittu, who is haunted by a mythical creature. Set in Pune and the Konkan region, the film also starred Sharvari and Mona Singh and marked Abhay's big break.
Prior to the comedy horror Munjya, Abhay appeared in notable projects such as Super 30, The Family Man, and Safed.
Abhay Verma's Upcoming Projects
The 27-year-old actor has a jam-packed Bollywood slate ahead. Abhay has wrapped up shooting for an untitled project directed by Shujaat Saudagar. The highly anticipated project co-stars Shanaya Kapoor as the female lead.
He is also set to appear alongside Nitanshi Goel in the sequel to the 2017 film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. The film is being directed by Ratna Sinha and produced by Benaras Media.
However, his most anticipated role is in the action-thriller King. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Abhay will share the screen space with Bollywood heavyweights Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Bobby Deol, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, and Abhishek Bachchan in the film. Slated for a 2026 release, King has already generated significant buzz for its ensemble cast and high-octane plot.

A devastating cloudburst in Uttarkashi's Dharali area triggered flash floods, sweeping away homes, homestays, and hotels, and claiming at least four lives. The disaster has left many buried under debris and mud. Actor Sara Ali Khan is deeply disturbed by the news and is praying for everyone's safety and healing amidst the tragedy in Uttarakhand. Sara Ali Khan shot her first film in Uttarakhand. Sara Ali Khan prays for safety Sara took to her Instagram handle late on Tuesday to pen a note extending her condolences to the families of those who are affected. Taking to Instagram Stories, Sara wrote, 'My heart goes out to everyone impacted by the incident in Uttarakhand. Praying for safety, strength and healing for all (folded hand emoji).' In another story, she shared the emergency numbers which have been issued by the Uttarkashi District Emergency Operation Centre to help the rescue operation. What do we know about Uttarkashi cloudburst A cloudburst caused flash floods in the high-altitude villages of Dharali on Tuesday, killing at least four people, and sweeping away several houses in its train. Dharali is the main stopover on the way to Gangotri and is home to many hotels, home stays, and restaurants. The triggered flash floods swept through a cluster of villages along the banks of the Kheer Ganga river. Personnel from the army, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and local police rescued 70 people till midnight, said officials, even as the unceasing rain and treacherous terrain hindered their efforts. The massive devastation brought back horrific memories of the 2013 deluge in Kedarnath and the Rishiganga disaster of 2021.
