EXCLUSIVE The Valley's Jasmine Goode calls Nick Viall a 'clout chaser' after 'uncomfortable' moment on The Bachelor
Goode, 37, shared her thoughts on the Viall Files podcast host in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com.
Before she joined the cast of Bravo's The Valley, a spin-off of Vanderpump Rules, Goode was a contestant on Viall's season of The Bachelor in 2017.
At one point during the season, Goode confronted Viall about not getting a one-on-one date and shared her frustration by putting her hand on Viall's throat and playfully pretending to choke him.
Viall reflected on the moment during a recent episode of his podcast The Viall Files, which he co-hosts with his now-wife Natalie Joy.
'I would love an apology from Jasmine,' Viall said during the May 29 episode, which also featured fellow The Valley star Janet Caperna. 'I'm still triggered.'
'All the jokes aside [on] the Jasmine strangling me thing… that did make me uncomfortable. There was a blackout moment,' Viall said.
In response to his comments, Goode told DailyMail.com that Viall is a 'clout chaser' and insisted that her pretending to choke him was simply a 'joke.'
'Nick is a clout chaser,' Goode claimed. 'He wants attention because I actually did his podcast when he first started out and we joked about it. He laughed about it.'
'Number two, I did not actually touch him. It was gesturing,' she continued. 'And number three, when you're in that situation, I was a sister wife, this is my man, you're dating, this is your boyfriend.
'I'm sorry, I'm from [New] Jersey. If I'm upset with you, like, yes I want to choke you right now. That's how we handle things.
'So, for Nick to act like, "Oh, Jasmine," please. Really, Nick? Get something else. I know you want attention, but this is so Nick coded.'
DailyMail.com has reached out to Viall's reps for comment.
Elsewhere during Goode's interview with DailyMail.com, the reality star opened up about feeling 'triggered' by co-star Danny Booko's alleged drunken behavior in season two of The Valley, which premiered last April.
At the start of the season, The Valley star Jason Caperna claimed that Booko, 41, had been 'inappropriate' with Goode and Goode's fiancée, Melissa Carelli, during a Halloween party.
'Not too long ago, Jasmine was in a situation where Danny was blackout drunk and was really inappropriate,' Caperna explained during a confessional in the premiere episode.
'Danny approached Jasmine, put his hand on her thigh and said, "Get daddy a drink," referring to himself as "daddy."
'And then when she went to go get "daddy" and some other people a drink as well, he approached Jasmine's girlfriend Melissa and grabbed her butt.'
Booko later apologized to Goode and Carelli, telling the couple at co-star Brittany Cartwright's white party that his behavior was 'completely out of his character.'
However, Goode told her co-stars she still felt 'triggered' by Booko following a cast trip to Santa Barbara, California, in which he had missed a group dinner after a long day of drinking at a winery.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, Goode admitted that she wanted a second apology from Booko over the Halloween incident because she felt his original apology wasn't genuine.
'When this all happened, I got a text message from Danny and then he apologized to Melissa at the white party,' she explained.
'That's the only time. I know he keeps saying he's done this numerous times, and it wasn't multiple apologies. It was at one time at the white party.'
'Then we sat down at the white party and the first thing he said to me was, "Are you doing this to me right now?" And that just sent me.
'I was like, "Wait, I'm doing this to you?" Like, this is the first time you're seeing Melissa.
'This is the first time you're apologizing to her face, and this is what you're saying as you sit down.'
Goode continued: 'Right there, I was like, "This apology is not working for me."'
In last week's episode, Booko apologized again for his behavior at the Halloween party, which Goode felt needed to happen in order to move forward with their friendship.
'Having that conversation with him again, I think I needed him to understand, like, look, if you want a friendship with me, I want you to understand this is what you did to me and how it made me feel.'
New episodes of The Valley air Tuesdays at 9pm ET on Bravo.

Rep. Lauren Boebert wants Matt Gaetz to lead special counsel investigation into Epstein files
Rep. Lauren Boebert wants failed Attorney General nominee Matt Gaetz to lead a special counsel investigation into the Epstein files. The Colorado Republican suggested that the disgraced former congressman was an appropriate figure to deliver the 'truth' surrounding Jeffrey Epstein's death, including his 'client list,' which MAGA has been up and arms about after the Department of Justice and FBI said they found no credible evidence it exists. Epstein died by suicide in his prison cell on August 10, 2019 and has long been the subject of conspiracy theories that he kept a secret list of famous and powerful people to whom he trafficked underage girls for sex. MAGA is deeply unhappy over the Trump administration's handling of the case. 'There has to be a special investigation into this if we aren't going to be provided information,' Boebert said Tuesday on The Benny Show. 'I want answers and maybe that takes that special counsel to do so. Maybe Matt Gaetz can lead the special counsel.' Gaetz, 43, was President Donald Trump's first pick for attorney general but his nomination was derailed over allegations that he paid for sex, including with a 17-year-old girl. Gaetz, who denies any wrongdoing, withdrew from the nomination in mid-November after the uproar, but a bombshell House Ethics Committee report published in December detailed his alleged sexual misconduct and illicit drug use while he was in Congress. The committee determined there was 'substantial evidence' that Gaetz violated House rules 'and other standards of conduct prohibiting prostitution, statutory rape, illicit drug use, impermissible gifts, special favors or privileges, and obstruction of Congress.' After appearing on the podcast, Boebert asked Gaetz directly if he would consider her suggestion. 'We deserve the truth about the Epstein Files. I'm ready for a Special Counsel to handle this,' Boebert wrote in a post on X. '@MattGaetz, how about it?' Gaetz, who often backs his replacement Attorney General Pam Bondi on his News Max show, didn't publicly respond to Boebert's post. Boebert also told MAGA host Benny Johnson that she is 'absolutely' in favor of getting Epstein's madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, to testify. 'Of course we want answers. No one is satisfied with what has been received or lack thereof. No one is satisfied with the rollout of this,' she said. MAGA outrage over the Epstein files has rumbled on for more than a week, despite the White House's attempts to put a lid on it. Last week the Justice Department and FBI issued a memo that there was no client list and no additional files relating to the case would be made public. The agencies had determined that no 'further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted,' much was sealed by a court to protect Epstein's victims, and 'only a fraction of it 'would have been aired publicly had Epstein gone to trial.' Additionally, the memo said that no further charges were expected as investigators 'did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.' Trump, who pledged to release the Epstein files during his campaign, said the case was 'boring' in remarks to reporters Tuesday. 'I don't understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody,' Trump said. 'It's pretty boring stuff. I think really only pretty bad people, including fake news, want to keep something like that going.' Democrats have also seized upon the upset and attempted to force a vote Tuesday in the House to release the files but it was blocked by Republicans.

Elon Musk changed his phone number after nasty split with Trump, says Mike Johnson
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson claims billionaire and CEO Elon Musk changed his phone number after his public falling-out with President Donald Trump. Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, told The New York Post he discovered the change while trying to text Musk amid the 'Big, Beautiful Bill' drama. Johnson previously said Musk ghosted him after the billionaire blew up at Trump over the sweeping spending and tax bill, which cuts taxes for wealthy Americans while curbing access to healthcare and food access programs for millions. 'I sent him a long text message, and then his phone number changed, because after the blow-up, something happened with his,' Johnson told The New York Post. '[Later I] realized I was sending it out into the ether somewhere and he never read it, so I look forward to meeting with him in person,' he added. 'We got to make that right.' Musk, once known as the 'First Buddy,' sparked a public feud with the president last month over the 'Big, Beautiful Bill,' Trump's sweeping spending and tax bill. Trump signed the bill on July 4. But for a month leading up to its passage, Musk railed against it, arguing it would increase the budget deficit by $2.5 trillion. 'I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore,' Musk wrote of Trump's bill on June 3. 'This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.' Musk spent several months this year leading the Department of Government Efficiency 's efforts to slash government spending. Under his leadership, DOGE laid off hundreds of thousands of federal employees, hollowed out several agencies and terminated thousands of government contracts and grants. Musk and Trump continued to spar until June 5, when the former DOGE leader claimed the president appeared in the Epstein files. 'Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files,' Musk wrote. 'That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!' Tensions appeared to ease soon afterward. Musk expressed 'regret' on June 11 for the posts he made about the president, while Trump revealed he had 'no hard feelings' toward Musk. Soon after the bill was signed, Musk announced that he would be forming the new 'America Party.' 'When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste & graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy,' he wrote on X. Trump called the idea 'ridiculous.' The president also threatened to 'take a look at' deporting Elon Musk to South Africa, where he was born and raised for several years.

Darth Vader's light sabre from Star Wars is yours to buy
The item is described as one of the most prized possessions in Star Wars history and a prime piece of pop culture history An original lightsaber used by iconic movie villain Darth Vader in the Star Wars trilogy is up for auction and is expected to cost over £1million. Darth Vader's main weapon - described by auctioneers as his "primary dueling lightsaber prop" - was used in the 1980 hit The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of the Jedi. It is described as one of the most prized possessions from the iconic sci-fi trilogy and a prime piece of pop culture history and is extremely rare. Having remained in the same private collection for decades, Propstore's auction marks the first time this extraordinary artifact will be available to the public at auction in September. The lightsaber was used during duels in the final acts of both films between Darth Vader, played by David Prowse, and Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill. It was also used by the stunt performer and British Olympic fencer, Bob Anderson. According to the auction house, genuine lightsaber props from the original trilogy are rare with this "believed to be the only hero lightsaber prop from the original Star Wars trilogy with verifiable screen use ever to be offered at public auction". The estimate on the prop is $1-3million(£746,000 to £2,241,000) when it is sold at auction house Propstore's "Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction: Los Angeles" event. Brandon Alinger, chief operating officer at Propstore, said: "The lightsaber, or laser sword as it was initially called, was imagined by George Lucas as the perfect defensive weapon for a more sophisticated age. "Nearly 50 years after the first Star Wars film, lightsabers are a universally recognised symbol of the world's most beloved film franchise and are consistently ranked as the most iconic and memorable props of all time. "They are the 'ruby slippers' of cinema's modern era. Surviving genuine lightsaber props from the original trilogy of films are exceedingly rare, and Propstore is honoured to present this historic artefact in our September sale. "It is a grail-level piece, worthy of the finest collections in the world. This lightsaber is simply everything you want it to be - one of the most significant Star Wars artefacts ever. One of the most significant cinema artefacts ever." The lightsaber was made from a vintage British press camera flash handle with components such as plastic grips, calculator bubbles and cosmetic wiring. It was modified with a wooden rod which was used as a blade during the choreographed fight scenes, making the physical on-camera duelling possible and allowing visual effects artists to add a hand-animated glow for the final shots. Ahead of the auction, the prop will go on tour and visit London, Beverly Hills and New York throughout August before the live auction takes place in Los Angeles this September. The tour will feature other film artefacts from Propstore's September Los Angeles Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, including Indiana Jones's bullwhip and belt, Sauron's helmet from the Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring and the shark tooth clapperboard from the 1975 film Jaws.
