Chaos erupted at the KM Barcelona VA vessel on Sunday morning, forcing its terrified passengers to hurl themselves into the ocean.

The ferry was en route from the Talaud Islands to Manado City when it caught fire off the coast of North Sulawesi.
It was nearing Talise Island in North Minahasa Regency when thick black smoke began pouring from the vessel and flames shot into the sky.
Panic quickly spread as the fire intensified.
Harrowing footage shows passengers leaping into the water, many of them clad in bright orange life jackets, as the blaze devoured the ship.

'There are KM Barcelona III, KM Venecian, and KM Cantika Lestari 9F,' a Manado KSOP officer confirmed, naming the three rescue ships dispatched to the scene to help evacuate survivors.
The rescue operation is ongoing as emergency teams race against time to account for all pasengers.
The ferry had been scheduled to dock at Manado Port before disaster struck, local outlet
At this stage, authorities have not confirmed any casualties.

"In some cases, they need the owner's permission to demolish and if the owner died, they legally can't for 30 years." Some rooms were so well preserved it was almost like the guests had only just departed. But others were falling apart more visibly, with missing floors and staircases hanging down. "Each one felt like stepping into a time capsule," he added. "You get a sense of what life must've been like here at its peak and then it just stopped. Huge blow to iconic UK seaside resort as nation's oldest pier dating back 160 years goes up for sale ‘with heavy heart'
THE family that owns a historic pier in a major seaside town has put it up for sale. Fundraiser launched to fund sailing voyage from Wicklow to Wales for 12 youths
Supported by County Wicklow Partnership, SSE Renewables, Wicklow County Council, The Vault Youth Centre, Arklow Sailing Club, and Marine Healthfoods Ltd, the 'Celtic Tide' voyage will see 12 people aged 13 to 17 years make their maiden voyage across the Irish Sea, sailing for 16 hours from Arklow Harbour to its twinned town of Aberystwyth. To raise funds for the experience, which builds confidence, teamwork, resilience, and leadership, participants have set a goal of collecting €1,200 before the end of July, with all donations made via their fundraising page entered into a raffle with spot prizes donated by local supporters. Having spearheaded the initiative, councillor Peir Leonard has appealed to the public to support the once-in-a-lifetime trip via donations or by contributing raffle prizes. 'The young people involved, who will sail the ship under the guidance of the great team at Sail Training Ireland, are holding a raffle with some great prizes,' she said.
