'Barron Trump should be deployed in war against Iran': Trump's son faces huge outrage, faces call to join US Army

Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald Trump and Melania Trump, is facing a huge criticism on social media, urging him to enlist in the United States Army. Barron Trump, who is 19-year-old and has just completed his freshman year at New York University, has found himself at the center of a controversy where netizens reacted to Trump's Iran bombings with the growing demand of enlisting

After Trump sent B-2 bombers to hit Iran's main uranium enrichment site, Fordow, using powerful 'bunker buster" bombs and without getting approval from Congress, people on social media began suggesting that Barron should join the US military.

Why is Barron Trump facing heat online?
Posters on social media joked that Barron Trump would likely avoid a draft if one were to be implemented using the same "bone spurs" excuse his father did in 1968. Many on X, formerly known as Twitter, gave a common opinion that if President Trump is prepared to send other people's children into harm's way, shouldn't his own son be first in line?
'Don't panic, MAGA; not a single Trump 'male' will be anywhere near the fighting,' one person posted on X.
Live Events
'If Trump decides USA should get involved in a ground war in Iran, I assume Barron will be enlisting since Trump family has so much love and support for our troops? Be a patriot!' another said.
'Barron trump should be the first young American to be deployed in donald trump's war against Iran,' one posted. "Trump has us at war. Barron should sign up for the Army now", reacted one user.

Another commented, "POTUS @Trump should order his son Barron to immediately enlist into US Army and be sent to fight Iran. Bravo' "And with the first pick of the 2025 US Draft, the US Army Selects…Barron Trump out of Mar-a-Lago"
"It should be mandatory that any sitting President who starts a war (which means every Republican) their sons MUST enlist and MUST serve in combat," another user said. "There is no reason why Barron is living in NYC with his Step Daddy Hank, living life like a normal 19 year old. He should be in boot camp right now. Or, get deported back to the country of which he sprung with his Mother."
It's worth noting that the President received five deferments during the Vietnam War—four because he was in college and one due to a claimed foot condition called bone spurs. However, that last deferment has been doubted for years. In 2019, Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen told Congress that Trump admitted he made up the injury.

'He told me not to answer detailed questions from reporters and just say he got a medical deferment," Cohen said, according to CNN. 'He ended the conversation by saying, 'You think I'm stupid? I wasn't going to Vietnam.'"
And it is worth noticing that there is no legal requirement for children of the US Presidents to serve in the Army. Barron Trump, by all public accounts, has maintained a low profile since his father returned to office and to date no member from the Trump family has served in the US Army.

Donald Trump announces Israel's agreement to 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, urges Hamas to accept it

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that Israel has agreed for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza on 'necessary conditions' and warned militant group Hamas to accept the deal before it worsens. Trump announced the development as he prepares to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for talks at the White House on Monday. According to two officials of the Trump administration, Hamas is yet to agree to the deal. Informing about the ceasefire agreement, Trump in a Truth Social post said that the Qataris and Egyptians would deliver it. 'My Representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today on Gaza,' Trump wrote in the post. He added 'Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War. The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring peace, will deliver this final proposal.' Urging Hamas to accept the deal as it'll worsen if it doesn't, Trump said 'I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. Thank you for your attention to this matter!' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Start of the Government Meeting: 'I am due to leave next week for meetings in the US with US President Donald Trump. These come in the wake of the great victory that we achieved in Operation Rising Lion.' — Prime Minister of Israel (@IsraeliPM) July 1, 2025 A CNN report had earlier stated that Qatari officials had submitted a new proposal for a 60–day ceasefire on Tuesday to both Israel and Hamas to halt the hostilities in Gaza, which was backed by the Trump administration. The earlier ceasefire between Israel and Hamas came into effect on January 19, a day before Trump returned to office in Washington. It continued until March after which Israel started targeting Gaza again alleging ceasefire violations being carried out by Hamas. Since then, there has been a pause on the delivery of aid to Palestinians. Israel's Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer is in Washington for talks with senior officials of the Trump administration regarding the Gaza ceasefire, Iran and other matters. Dermer is expected to meet Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoy Steve Witkoff.

Cong revokes Mulak's suspension amid rejig before local body polls

1 2 Nagpur: The Congress formally revoked suspension of senior Vidarbha leader and former Maharashtra minister Rajendra Mulak on Monday, less than a year after disciplinary action was initiated against him for contesting the 2024 assembly elections as an independent. Party insiders said the move reflects a broader strategy to consolidate support ahead of impending local body polls. Mulak's return also signals a subtle recalibration of internal equations within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, following pressure from local party units and MVA allies. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Maharashtra in-charge Ramesh Chennithala were present when Mulak's reinstatement was announced in Delhi. MPCC president Harshwardhan Sapkal officially welcomed Mulak back, stating, "We formally revoke the suspension of Mulak and welcome him back into the Congress family." Along with Mulak, Yajnavalkya Jichkar — son of former minister Shrikant Jichkar — was expelled last year for contesting independently from Katol, a seat allocated to NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Anil Deshmukh's son Salil under the MVA seat-sharing pact. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trading CFD dengan Teknologi dan Kecepatan Lebih Baik IC Markets Mendaftar Undo His suspension was revoked in April. Even the NCP(Ajit) faction on Tuesday revoked suspension of former corporator Abha Pande, who had contested as a rebel from East Nagpur after being denied party ticket. Mulak, son of late minister Bhausaheb Mulak, was among 28 rebel leaders suspended in November 2024 for defying alliance consensus and filing his nomination from Ramtek against the official MVA candidate, Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Vishal Barbate. Despite the action, Mulak actively campaigned for Congress nominees in Saoner, Kamptee, and Umred alongside former minister Sunil Kedar. Speaking to TOI from Delhi, Mulak said, "Even though I was a rebel, I worked for the party's victory during the assembly polls. In Umred, which was entrusted to me before expulsion, I ensured a thumping win for our candidate Sanjay Meshram. I even showed Kharge the ECI result sheet—despite being independent, I polled 85,000 votes, while the official MVA nominee managed just 5,000. He was surprised." He added that senior leader Rahul Gandhi, in a meeting with state leaders on Monday evening, directed the revocation of all similar suspensions to strengthen the party ahead of the elections. Also present at the reinstatement were AICC secretaries BM Sandeep and Kunal Choudhary. Mulak is expected to resume his organisational responsibilities in the coming days.
