One dead, two injured in John Kilpatrick Turnpike two-car crash
Authorities arrived to the crash to a gravel truck fully engulfed in flames and a 4-door sedan involved.
The 4-door sedan had two occupants with one needing extrication.
One occupant from the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant was transported to a nearby hospital with severity of injuries unknown.
The driver of the gravel truck was also taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the southbound traffic of the Kilpatrick Turnpike has been shut north of NW 23rd St.
The scene and cause of the crash is under further investigation.

Woodhaven man, 70, killed in Central Michigan crash; 1 injured
A 70-year-old man is dead after the SUV he was driving was struck by a pickup truck in Central Michigan on Saturday morning, according to police. Investigators say a 50-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on East Pickard Road in Union Township. The 70-year-old man, driving a Ford Edge, was turning onto the road from a hotel parking lot when the truck hit the SUV. Michigan State Police troopers responded to the crash around 10 a.m. Officials said the 70-year-old Woodhaven, Michigan, man died from injuries sustained in the incident. The driver of the Silverado, a Rosebush, Michigan, resident, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing. Union Township is around 159 miles northwest of Detroit.

Myrtle Beach car crash killed one pedestrian. Here's what we know
A car hit two pedestrians in Myrtle Beach early Sunday morning, killing one and injuring another. At about 12:34 a.m., Myrtle Beach Police Department officers responded to a call of a traffic collision with injuries at 21st Avenue South and Kings Highway. When police arrived, officers discovered two pedestrians hit by a vehicle, which had fled, the department said in a Facebook post. The driver believed to have caused the accident was found and arrested soon after. The two pedestrians were transported to the hospital for treatment. One died from injuries caused by the crash, police said. A Real Time Crime Unit and assisting units had begun investigating the incident, and were led to the vehicle from the accident. The Sun News has requested the incident report and arrest warrant associated with this incident.
