David Beckham gushes over Victoria, his 'Lady Beckham,' after 26 years of marriage
July 4 marks 26 years of marriage for the 50-year-old former footballer and the 51-year-old fashion designer, according to multiple social media posts from the couple. "26 years today you said YES to me," David captioned an Instagram post on Friday. "Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together."
He shared a series of photos of the couple, and their four children − Brooklyn Beckham, Romeo James Beckham, Cruz Beckham and Harper Seven Beckham − throughout the years.
The beloved couple, who wed on July 4, 1999, are marking their latest marriage milestone just one week after David was hospitalized after undergoing surgery for a soccer-related wrist injury dating back to 2003.
"I love you Lady Beckham," he concluded his caption, tagging not only his wife, Victoria, but his children too.
"I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️," Victoria commented under the photo carousel.
On her own Instagram account, Victoria penned a sweet tribute to her husband. "Another year, another chapter in our love story," she wrote, along with a photo of the two kissing poolside.
"I'm so proud of the beautiful family and life we've built together," she continued. "You and our four incredible children complete me. I love you so much @davidbeckham xx Here's to 26 years!! xx."
In a September 2024 interview with USA TODAY, David spoke about what makes him and Victoria the "proudest": his four children.
Beckham grew up in the East End of London in what he describes as a "working class background: parents that work very hard, two sisters that also work very hard." He and Victoria, despite the circumstances surrounding their fame, tried to pass that forward to their children.
"They could be different than they are, but we are very lucky," Beckham said of his kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. "They're kind, they're humble, they're hardworking and they're just good human beings. That's the biggest thing that we are proud of."

'The Challenge' Star Suffers Heartbreaking Loss: 'A Part of Me Went With Him'
'The Challenge' Star Suffers Heartbreaking Loss: 'A Part of Me Went With Him' originally appeared on Parade. A star of MTV's The Challenge has suffered a heartwrenching loss. The Challenge star took to Instagram on Friday, June 27, to share with her friends and followers that her father has died after a long, painful battle with Alzheimer's. "With the heaviest heart, I share that my dad has passed away," writes Aneesa on her Instagram stories. "He left this world peacefully, free from Alzheimer's at last. I imagine him whole again — dancing among the stars." She continues, "He left this world peacefully, and I find comfort in believing that he's now somewhere beyond the reach of Alzheimer's — a place where his mind is clear, his body is whole, and he has a smile on his face."Even with that comfort, my heart feels broken. The world feels quieter without him. A part of me went with him when he left. "Losing a parent is a pain unlike any other — a quiet ache that lingers in everything. I will miss my dad every single day, but I know this isn't the end. I believe we'll meet again, in some beautiful way, someday. I love you, daddy." Aneesa has been candid about her father's experience with Alzheimer's. Just 12 days before he died, she wrote a poignant Father's Day post about how "heavy and sad" this year was because of his late-stage dementia. "As some of you know, my dad has late-stage Alzheimer's dementia. Watching someone you love go through this cruel disease is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. He can no longer walk or speak, and seeing him like this is heartbreaking," wrote Aneesa. "This Father's Day hits different. It's heavy and sad. If you're going through something similar, or if you've lost a parent, please know — I see you, I feel you, and my heart is with you today." Christian summer camp where girls went missing during devastating flooding has been attended by daughters of Texas' political elite for 100 years
The all-girls Christian summer camp in Texas — where a frantic search is underway for survivors of a catastrophic flood — has been a destination for the daughters of Texas's political elite since it was founded nearly a century ago. Camp Mystic, situated along the Guadalupe River in the tiny town of Hunt, has been a beloved summer retreat for some of the most influential young women in the Lone Star State — and national politics, according to a 2011 Texas Monthly story The Post discovered Friday. 3 Camp Mystic, where nearly two dozen girls are missing after horrifying flooding, has catered to the Texas political elite for generations. campmystichunttx/Instagram Advertisement The daughters of former Texas Govs. Dan Moody, Price Daniel and John Connally, who was shot as he sat next to President John F. Kennedy when he was assassinated in Dallas in 1963, all attended the camp, according to the outlet. The daughters, granddaughters and great-granddaughters of Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson — JFK's successor and one of Texas' most formidable politicians — also summered at Camp Mystic, per Texas Monthly. James Baker, who served as chief of staff to Republican Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, sent his daughter and a granddaughter to Camp Mystic, the outlet added. Camp Mystic, which will celebrate its 100th birthday next year, was founded by EJ 'Doc' Stewart, a former head football coach at the University of Texas, in 1926, according to its website. Its mission is 'to provide young girls with a wholesome Christian atmosphere in which they can develop outstanding personal qualities and self-esteem,' its site added. Aside from when the federal government leased Camp Mystic as 'a convalescent camp for Army Air Corps veterans of World War II' between 1943 and 1945, it has operated continuously since its founding, according to the Texas State Historical Association.
