Report: WWE SmackDown To Extend Three-Hour Format
WWE SmackDown may not return to a two-hour format… yet. 2025 began with WWE SmackDown running as a three-hour show on the USA Network, instead of its usual two hours. This was a significant change for the blue brand, which had largely been a two-hour show since its inception in 1999. Triple H later mentioned in January that this change was only temporary and that SmackDown would go back to two hours later. Advertisement In September 2024, WrestleVotes reported SmackDown would switch back to two hours in June after many three-hour episodes. Last month, WrestleVotes confirmed this again and said the change would likely happen with the June 6 episode of SmackDown, with Dave Meltzer also confirming this detail. However, recent reports from PWInsider say that things might not go as expected. The reports mentioned that the USA Network had internally listed WWE SmackDown as running three hours long in early June. This means the show might continue with the longer, three-hour format instead of going back to the usual two-hour format. It remains to be seen how much longer this format will last, but it looks like SmackDown will be a three-hour show a bit longer. WWE SmackDown May 23rd match card update The May 23 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will air live from the EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. ESPN's Mina Kimes on why Falcons fans are the best in the NFL
The Atlanta Falcons have one of the most interesting fan bases in the entire NFL. Of the 12 teams that have never won a Super Bowl, the Falcons have gotten by far the closest. Atlanta could practically taste the champagne with a 28-3 lead over the Patriots back in Super Bowl 51. We all know how that game ended, and it's something fans will never fully get over. However, one NFL expert believes those scars are what make Falcons fans the best in the entire league. ESPN analyst Mina Kimes explained why she ranked Atlanta as her No. 1 NFL fan base. Advertisement "The Atlanta Falcons are the best fan base in the entire NFL," said Kimes. "They have been through the most. Nobody has been through 28-3. They by far have the weirdest team. They endure all of this constant ongoing humiliation with equanimity, poise, resilience. They also have the perfect blend of nihilism with a tiny bit of hope, that I find unbelievably charming." Kimes praised the fans for their lack of delusion when it comes to the team, citing the recent trade for edge rusher James Pearce as an example. "Most of them understand that the James Pearce trade in the draft -- the criticism is warranted," said Kimes. "But they also are allowing themselves to get excited and hopeful that one of these pass rushers that they drafted will work out." Advertisement Falcons fans have never been known for their optimism, which is somewhat rare in a league where people tend to view their favorite teams with rose-colored glasses. In 2025, Atlanta will attempt to return to the playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season. The NFL released the full 2025 regular season schedule on Wednesday. Check out our score predictions for all 17 Falcons games. This article originally appeared on Falcons Wire: Mina Kimes: Atlanta Falcons fans are best in the NFL

Golf odds for 2026 majors: Scottie Scheffler early favorite after Open Championship win
The world's No. 1 golfer just won the final major on the golf calendar this year, and betting experts anticipate plenty more big wins on the horizon. Updated odds for the 2026 golf majors are out, and Scottie Scheffler is the familiar name at the top of every list. He is considered the favorite to win every major in 2026 coming off his 2025 Open Championship victory at Royal Portrush, according to BetMGM. It shouldn't be a surprise at this point. Scheffler was also the betting favorite entering all four majors this season. He also won his first PGA Championship in May. Scheffler only needs to win the U.S. Open to join Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy as the only golfers in the modern era to win the sport's grand slam. 'Any doubts about Scottie Scheffler's British Open pedigree were emphatically squashed by the American at Royal Portrush with an effortless four-shot victory," BetMGM senior trader Matt Wall said. "BetMGM immediately shortened his 2026 Masters price to +400 from +500 and that could still shorten further should he continue to dominate on the PGA Tour. The comparisons with Tiger Woods certainly don't look out of place right now. All the early action is on Scottie to win all four majors at +25000, and he is the favorite in each one right now.' Here's a breakdown of the early odds to win golf's majors in 2026: What are the early odds for golf's 2026 major championships?
