Hugely popular UK theme park to open country's first Paw Patrol land next year – with four rides and themed hotel rooms
The new immersive experience will be the UK's first and only Paw Patrol-themed land and is expected to open in spring 2026.
3 The Paw Patrol land is set to open in spring 2026
3 In addition to the new land, five Paw Patrol-themed rooms will open at the Safari Hotel
The London attraction will feature four rides, including an entry-level 'my first rollercoaster', play areas and an interactive character 'meet and greet'.
The Adventure Bay setting from the series will be recreated, with a focus on the characters' role in the community.
Messaging around emotional and social engagement will also be included throughout the land.
The themed land will also have a food and drink outlet, a picnic space and a customised retail store.
It will be targeted for families with two to five-year-olds.
Spread across 1.4 acres, the new land will also be Chessignton's largest preschooler attraction.
Families will not have to wait until 2026 to see Paw Patrol at Chessington though.
From May 24, visitors can meet pups Chase, Skye and Rubble at the attraction.
In addition, from this summer, fans can experience an exclusive collection of five themed rooms – the first and only PAW Patrol accommodation in the UK – at Chessington's Safari Hotel.
Later in September, Marshall will also join his pals to launch the Paw Patrol Autumn Adventure, which includes a trail, opportunity to meet the characters and access to the 20 preschool rides and attractions.
UK theme park reveals brand new themed hotel rooms for the summer
The experience will run from September 3 to 26 mid-week during term time and will cost from £29 per person.
Howard Ebison, divisional director of Chessington World of Adventures, said: 'As one of the world's leading pre-school brands – delighting children across the globe with the stories of Adventure Bay – the power and appeal of Paw Patrol is unparalleled.
'It's a great privilege to join forces with Paramount to create this immersive land – the UK's first and only Paw Patrol themed land – to provide magic and excitement for our young guests.
'We can't wait to welcome the pups to Chessington World of Adventures. As the pups would say, Chessington is ready for action!'
Marie Marks, SVP, global experiences at Paramount, said: 'Chessington World of Adventures and Nickelodeon have a deep commitment to creating entertainment that families can enjoy together, and we are delighted that this new themed land will immerse young visitors in their very own Paw Patrol adventure.'
Chessington World of Adventures announced that they were planning a new land back in April, but did not reveal the theme at the time.
The Sun's Sarah Barns recently headed to the theme park to test out Elmer's Flying Jumbos, the first ever ride inspired by famous patchwork elephant.

Citi's Strata Elite Card challenges AmEx Platinum and Chase Sapphire with travel-heavy perks
Not willing to be caught idling while Chase and American Express release new premium credit cards, Citi is launching one of its own: the Citi Strata Elite Card. Zillow updates home price forecast for over 400 housing markets: See the map Here's why Trump's proposed 401(k) executive order may be very bad news for your retirement How to go from quiet to commanding While Citi has offered a premium credit card in the past (the Prestige Card, which some customers still have and use, but is no longer available to new customers), the Citi Strata Elite Card is the company's return to the pitch in many years. Specifically, the new card is designed to directly compete with Chase's Sapphire Reserve card and the Platinum Card from American Express—both of which have recently announced new features, fees, and revamps. As for what makes Citi Strata Elite superior to its competitors' offerings? Pam Habner, Citi's head of U.S. branded cards and lending, says that in the simplest terms, 'it's the best card for premium customers who have a passion for travel and dining.' The card itself boasts an overall value of $1,500 annually, against an annual fee of $595. That includes an annual $300 hotel benefit, a $200 'splurge' credit (for use with certain brands, such as Best Buy or American Airlines), a $200 Blacklane chauffeur credit, and a fee credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. There are numerous perks associated with American Airlines, too, which has had a long relationship with Citi, including four Admirals Club lounge passes. Card members also multiply their points earnings by 12 when booking hotels, car rentals, or attractions through the card's travel portal, along with a six-times multiplier when booking air travel or ordering from certain restaurants at certain times. In all, it packs a powerful punch for people who like to travel and eat out. Habner says that compared with competing cards, it 'is the card with the highest reward potential on the market—it offers travelers more benefits than any other card.' And she notes that the top reason premium cardholders opt for high-level or premium cards is for the travel benefits, according to her team's research. There was a good amount of research, too, that went into the development of the card. While Citi's previous premium card was 'designed for its time,' the new card 'meets the needs of the modern premium customer,' Habner says, and it took a good amount of time, data, and research to figure out exactly what those were. The Strata Elite Card's slate of benefits and perks, she says, reflects Citi's findings. Here's everything you need to know about the new Chase Sapphire eligibility rules
Chase is making some changes to their eligibility rules around the popular Sapphire credit cards. What used to be a rule that you couldn't be a cardholder of both the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees) and Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees) has now changed, meaning you can double down on earning Chase points. A big caveat, though? You might not be able to earn both cards' welcome bonuses. Here's what to know. On Chase's site On Chase's site With Points Boost, your rewards will be worth up to 1.5x on thousands of top-booked hotels and flights from select airlines through Chase Travel. Good to Excellent670–850 19.99% - 28.24% variable $95 Earn 75,000 bonus points See rates and fees. Terms apply. Member FDIC. Read our Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card review. The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card packs a punch for a $95 annual fee card, offering annual travel credits, comprehensive travel protections and $5 or 5% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater On Chase's site On Chase's site Get more than $2,700 in annual value with Sapphire Reserve. Excellent740–850 20.24% - 28.74% variable $795 Earn 100,000 bonus points + $500 Chase TravelSM promo credit See rates and fees. Terms apply. Member FDIC. Read our Chase Sapphire Reserve® review. The Chase Sapphire Reserve® is a standout premium credit card with plenty of luxury perks and statement credits to justify its annual $5 or 5% of the amount of each balance transfer, whichever is greater Before the overhaul of the Chase Sapphire line of cards, the bank didn't allow a user to be the primary account holder on both the Sapphire Preferred and Reserve cards; you could only have one. This was Chase's previous rule on owning multiple Sapphire cards at once: The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products. That's now changed, however. As of June 23, 2025, you can now be a cardmember of both the Chase Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve. Why would you want to have both? Well, they cater to different spending. While the Preferred works with more everyday purchases, allowing you to earn on online groceries and streaming, the Reserve rewards your travel. Plus, with the two, you can more quickly collect valuable Chase Ultimate Rewards® points. The only caveat is that there's a good chance you won't be able to score a welcome bonus on both cards. A Chase spokesperson told CNBC Select that new account bonus offer eligibility for either the Reserve or the Preferred will be based on several factors, including previously earned bonus offers and the number of cards opened and closed, among others. If you already had one of the Sapphire cards and earned its welcome bonus, you may not earn the welcome bonus on the second Sapphire card you get. This is on the product page of Chase's website: The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you currently have any other personal Sapphire cards open, previously held this card or received a new cardmember bonus for this card. So, while Chase is opening up the doors to the possibility of owning both Sapphire cards, earning their respective welcome bonuses seems like it's going to be more on a case-by-case basis. It's worth noting that the site does specifically say, "personal Sapphire cards," and after confirming with a Chase spokesperson, Chase Sapphire Reserve for BusinessSM (see rates and fees) cardholders can still open a consumer Sapphire card and earn its bonus. Thus, having the business card will not impact your eligibility for the other Sapphire bonuses. With this current language, it seems like it's still possible to earn both bonuses; if you had one of the Reserve or Preferred cards and earned its bonus, you could then downgrade that card to a non-Sapphire card and then apply for the Sapphire card you haven't held yet and earn its bonus. While this could be a good way to maximize the welcome offers, some people may be devoted to one card over the other and not want to downgrade for a bonus. Money matters — so make the most of it.
