
Perth artist to sell Harris Tweed designs at major event this weekend
Bheag's designs, featuring thistles, sheep, Highland cows, and Scotland's iconic kelpies, have become a hit with campervan and mobile homeowners.

While Bheag had always enjoyed stitching as a pastime, it was her daughter who encouraged her to turn it into a business.
She found that demand quickly took off thanks to the charm and craftsmanship of her designs.

Bheag said: 'A lot of the single loom weavers aren't making fabric anymore, so I treasure the beautiful fabrics I've had from them and try to incorporate my stock into the designs.'
The event on Saturday will feature a wide range of attractions, including celebrity gardeners, craft stalls, and a traditional flower show.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to win a three-day break in a camper or mobile home.

Glasgow transformed into New York for huge new Spider-Man blockbuster as film fans crowd streets

Filming for blockbuster flick Brand New Day means parts of the city will double as New York until August 15 as the £150million production gets underway. Credit: Getty The Marvel sequel, set for release next year, has led to Blythswood Street, Pitt Street, Wellington Street, and Bothwell Street being draped in US flags and banners that people would expect to see in the Big Apple. While New York Police Department cars, buses, and food vans have been spotted near the Scottish event campus as Tom Holland, 29, returns as the titular character, with real-life girlfriend Zendaya, 28, as Michelle Jones "MJ" Watson, Jon Berntha, 48,l portraying The Punisher, and Charlie Cox, 42, as Daredevil. This year, thousands of students are due to receive their exam results via an app, rather than getting the classic experience of opening an envelope. Zizzi is keeping the experience alive and will be giving each student an envelope to open to reveal their free treat.
