Ozzy passed away aged 76, surrounded by his family on Tuesday morning, after bravely battling against Parkinson's disease.
His children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, were named along with wife Sharon in the statement.
And lesser-spotted Louis chose to pay his respects with his own tribute to his father on social media.
Ozzy's son changed his Facebook profile picture to an all-black screen.
Before tying the knot to Sharon, Ozzy had married his first wife Thelma Riley in 1971 after meeting her in a Birmingham nightclub.
Together, they welcomed children Jessica and Louis, who have been largely away from the limelight.
Jessica, who was not included in the family statement, also posted a tribute to rock legend Ozzy on Instagram.
Her story featured a pictures of her late father in black and white with the words "RIP Ozzy".
The tribute was accompanied by Ozzy's song 'Crazy Train' playing in the background.
Jessica made the Black Sabbath frontman a grandparent for the first time but never appeared in The Osbournes' TV show.
However, she was mentioned in the episode 'Smells Like Teen Spirits' when Ozzy learned that she had welcomed a daughter.
Although his wild behaviour would have been enough to see some artists blacklisted, Ozzy became a loveable rogue who captured fans' hearts across the globe.
In 2001, Ozzy appealed to a whole new audience after appearing in reality TV show The Osbournes with his family.
Its first series was the most-watched show ever on MTV and propelled Jack and Kelly into stardom, with the latter enjoying a music career of her own.
With the family's success growing, they hosted the 30th Annual American Music Awards and later the Brit Awards in London.
The family's hugely popular show ran until 2005 and portrayed heartbreaking moments for the family - including Sharon's battle with cancer and the quad bike accident that nearly killed Ozzy.
The family later starred in the reality series The Osbournes Want to Believe and special The Osbournes: Night of Terror, which both focused on paranormal investigations.

Nicola Sturgeon agrees to TV special as ex-SNP leader to be grilled on 'striking revelations' in new book

The former first minister will be quizzed by ITV News ahead of the publication of 'Frankly' next month. Nicola Sturgeon has agreed to a high profile TV interview ahead of the publication next month of her eagerly anticipated political memoir. ‌ The former first minister will be grilled by ITV News stalwart Julie Etchingham for a special programme that will be broadcast at 7pm on August 11. Sturgeon's book, Frankly, hits the shops on August 14. ‌ The interview will focus on the memoir's most striking revelations, delving into the ex-SNP leader's successes and controversies, personal insights and political flashpoints. It is being produced by the ITV News team responsible for previous headline-grabbing political interviews with former Prime Ministers David Cameron in 2019 and Boris Johnson last year. ‌ Etchingham said: "Nicola Sturgeon is quite simply one of the stand-out politicians of a generation. From her rise as a working class girl to the pinnacle of Scottish politics as first female First Minister, she has charted dizzying political heights to being hailed the most dangerous woman in Britain. In what I hope will be a revealing encounter, I can't wait to see how Nicola Sturgeon lifts the lid on her politics, life and legacy - and to find out where she heads next.' Sturgeon has declared nearly £200,000 in outside earnings since standing down from the top job in Scottish politics. Her book, Frankly, is expected to lift the lid on her nine years as Scotland's leader and the breakdown of her friendship with the late Alex Salmond. According to her Holyrood register of interest, she received £75,000 in 2023 from publishers Pan Macmillan for the first of four instalments of a book advance. ‌ Other income, including a recent £76,500 second book payment made via her literary agent and fees for book reviews, was paid to her personal company. Nicola Sturgeon Ltd also received £25,000 from broadcaster ITN after the former SNP leader appeared on a general election night results show. To coincide with publication of her book, fans of Sturgeon are being charged £75 to attend a 'meet and greet' with her later this year ahead of an interview in Edinburgh. The fee is on top of ticket prices for the event at the 2200 capacity Usher Hall which stretch to £73.95 including the booking fee. In an Instagram post, she plugged an 'evening with Nicola Sturgeon ' in the Capital in which she would reflect on her career in politics. Sturgeon, who is standing down from Holyrood next year, has been accused of being a part-time MSP since resigning as FM, with critics hitting out at her attendance record.

Ozzy Osbourne fans emotional as family share new tribute to late Black Sabbath singer

Ozzy Osbourne's family, including his wife Sharon Osbourne, announced last week that the Black Sabbath member had died, aged 76, just weeks after his farewell concert The late Ozzy Osbourne has been the subject of yet more tributes following the news of his death almost a week ago. Fans have shared that they continue to mourn the Black Sabbath member this week ahead of his funeral. ‌ Ozzy's family announced last Tuesday that the singer-songwriter had died, aged 76, that morning, with his wife Sharon Osbourne, 72, and four of his children issuing a joint statement at the time. There was then an outpouring of tributes to him, including from his former bandmates. ‌ The verified account for Ozzy on Instagram has continued to post about him since the news broke, including in a tribute uploaded earlier today. It shared a photo that showed a logo of Ozzy's name above a black candle with a flame on top. The caption simply included an emoji depicting a candle. ‌ Accompanying the photo and its caption was the song Holy For Tonight, which was included in the post. The track, co-written by Ozzy, featured on his second most recent album, titled Ordinary Man, which was released back in 2020. The post has amassed more than 220,000 likes since it was uploaded this afternoon. Some fans took to the comments section to address the loss and reflect on it having been almost a week since 'the Prince of Darkness' died. ‌ One person wrote: "We will miss you forever." Another said: "Can't believe it's almost been a week." Whilst someone else commented: "It still hasn't sunk in." Sharing their thoughts, another fan wrote this evening: "Still doesn't seem real." Someone wrote: "I still can't believe you're gone Ozzy, thank you for everything." One person said in their reaction to the post: "You'll live forever in our hearts, Ozzy." Another wrote earlier today: "Love you Ozzy, I am still in disbelief that you have passed away. Thank you for your music." ‌ One fan commented: "I can't even begin to imagine the massive hole he has left in the lives of Sharon, his children and his grandchildren. My heart goes out to them." Another wrote in their response: "Sending light and love to all the family." Ozzy's death was announced last week by relatives including his wife Sharon. She issued a statement alongside their three children Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne, as well as Ozzy's eldest son Louis Osbourne. They said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis." Just weeks before his death, Ozzy had performed at a farewell concert in Birmingham as part of Black Sabbath's original line-up. He took to the stage at Villa Park stadium on July 5 in the star-studded Back to the Beginning concert and the gig is set to be turned into a film to be released next year.
