Last minute hotels for Oasis in Cardiff going for £900 a night ahead of reunion gigs at Principality Stadium
According to new research Cardiff is the most expensive city to stay in during the hotly anticipated Oasis tour, with hotel prices surging by 420% compared to a normal night.
When the famous Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, announced their Oasis reunion and the Oasis Live '25 tour, there was a mad dash to book accommodation, sparking a huge spike in hotel prices on the dates of the Oasis gigs. For all the info we have on the gig so far, click here.
Interest is so intense that Google searches for 'Cardiff hotel rooms' have soared by over 13,000%, and there's been a huge spike in searches for Airbnbs near the stadium.
Cardiff isn't the only city experiencing this surge; accommodation enquiries and bookings have skyrocketed at every Oasis Live '25' tour location.
Hotel prices have also climbed dramatically across all five host cities, Cardiff, Manchester, London, Dublin, and Edinburgh, with booking activity closely tracking ticket sales.
While Manchester may be grabbing headlines for the biggest price hike, up 454% to £421, Cardiff's £588 average makes it the priciest overall. Even London, often the UK's most expensive city, comes in second at £527 a night, as per the data collected by Grosvenor Casinos.
If you haven't yet booked your accommodation, here are places in the city and beyond that were still available at the time of publishing. Some are pricey, but we've also included some 'cheaper' ones for the Oasis dates.

Jade shares hidden tribute to Oasis at Glastonbury despite Noel Gallagher feud
Jade Thirlwall isn't one to Look Back In Anger, with the former Little Mix singer still willing to take style inspiration from Noel Gallagher despite the Oasis rocker's nasty jibes Pop icon Jade Thirlwall has shown she isn't one to hold a grudge by revealing she took inspiration from the Gallagher brothers for her Glastonbury looks. The former Little Mix singer, 32, clashed with Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher when the 58-year-old took aim at her band's achievements. But Jade, who had an iconic response to Noel's shady comments, isn't too stubborn to not appreciate the rocker's iconic style. In a new post, the X Factor winner - who rocked a green parka inspired co-ord on the Woodsie stage on Saturday - reveals Noel and his brother's infamous Brit pop style made her mood board when looking for inspiration for her Glastonbury look. At the start of this year, Jade reflected on the Wonderwall singer's brutal jibes about her band Little Mix from four years ago and disclosed how her boyfriend, Rizzle Kicks' Jordan Stephens, chose to confront Noel in person over the comments, only to be met with a foul-mouthed tirade. After Little Mix made history at The Brit Awards in May 2021, Noel felt obliged to voice his opinions on the Black Magic singers being the first all-female group to win the British Group award. The veteran rocker suggested that the award-winning girl band were "not in the same league as Oasis" and hinted their record-breaking victory indicated a problem within the music industry. During an episode of Never Mind the Buzzcocks the same year, Jade responded to the unsolicited criticism from the seasoned rocker with a hilarious retort. Speaking to Louis Theroux on his eponymous podcast, she delved deeper into her band's feud with the father-of-three. "Well, we're very different bands, so I'll give him that respect," the Angel of My Dreams singer conceded to the documentary maker. "We're very, you know, we're a pop girl band. Yeah. I don't know why he was comparing us, actually." Louis then speculated if Noel made the comment "for the clicks. " Jade playfully replied: "I think so," referring to Noel's love for confrontation. "I think he loves a little confrontation, doesn't he, that one. She then quipped: "You can't really argue with that, do you know what I mean? And I also kind of, um, love that I've ended up in some sort of tiff with one of the Gallaghers. I feel like, it's the same as getting a hate tweet from Azalea Banks." Jade then shared a story during Louis' Spotify podcast about an encounter her beau, Jordan, had with Noel at Glastonbury. Jade and the Rizzle Kicks frontman started their romance amid the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. Her recount of that event was: "I seen him [Noel] at Glastonbury that year, actually," and detailed that Jordan confronted Noel saying, "I'm going to go over and say something. I was like, alright then, give it a go. They went over, I was like, you are really rude about my girlfriend. Do you want to apologize? He went, f*ck off! And I thought, do you know what? Fair play." Talking about the time back in 2021 when Jade addressed Noel's harsh words towards herself and her Little Mix bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, she had a sharp retort on Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Referring to the incident, she recounted, "Noel did [slag us off]" while sitting on the panel of the comedy show's revival. Jade added insult to injury by recalling, "Something about that we were undeserving of the Brit Award because we're women and don't - well we do write music - but he thinks we don't write music. Well, we're very different bands, so I'll give him that to that respect." "Yeah, shame really," the award-winning singer adds. "Because you know, we are definitely the most successful girl group in the country, but he's not even the most successful performer in his family!"

I went to Blackweir Live's first ever gig in Cardiff and it proves one thing about the city
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info We know Cardiff has an incredible music scene. You only have to look at the stellar line-up the Principality Stadium hosts each year, from Taylor Swift to Beyoncé to Oasis and Foo Fighters. Cardiff Castle is bursting at the seams every summer hosting the likes of Bastille, JLS, Noel Gallagher, Sting, Tom Jones, and more. This year alone, the Sugababes and Scissor Sisters have stepped out at the Utilita Arena, and the independent scene is thriving with venues like Clwb Ifor Bach and Tramshed. But now there is a new kid on the block, and they have a point to prove. Blackweir Live is Cardiff's newest gig series, shooting onto the scene under Depot (also responsible for the Castle gigs) and Cuffe and Taylor. Big, bold, and not afraid to possibly ruffle a few feathers, Blackweir Live has transformed Blackweir Fields, which are often used for cricket, in the north of Bute Park. And now the first gig has successfully run with American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan bringing Stick Season to thousands last week - you can read our review here - it proves one thing: Cardiff could host its full-scale festival. With a few minor details sorted, I really think Blackweir Live could be the start of a brand new festival for Cardiff. Walking into Blackweir Live for the first time to see Kahan, I was blown away at how big it was. It was simply huge, the stage impressive and towering, and it instantly gave a festival atmosphere. (Image: CUFFE & TAYLOR) My friends and I immediately turned to each other and said: "Oh my god, this is massive!" as we looked around. It surpassed all my expectations; it was sprawling on a much larger scale than I ever imagined. There were bars lining each side with pretty much every cuisine you could imagine; you weren't just limited to burgers and chips here. There was white plastic covering leading up to the stage, unlike anything I had seen in Cardiff. The stage was incredibly impressive, and suitable for the crowds that can reach 35,000 people at Blackweir. While there was some confusion over what was classed as golden circle and more importantly, which toilets us normal ticket holders could use, with these little niggles ironed out, clear signs for the toilets and making sure everyone who had a golden ticket wristband knew exactly where to go, the night ran smoothly. The insane operation behind pulling off the first ever Blackweir Live was not missed as walking down the middle of North Road at 10.50pm without a car in sight was never something I thought I would do. (Image: WalesOnline/Rob Browne) They nailed the scale of the road closure meaning fans could safely exit and head home, there were pedestrian bridges built over the canal just for the gigs to ensure a smooth exit, there were extra trains from Great Western Rail and Transport for Wales and the whole event felt well-thought-out and clear. Pulling off events this size with the capacity of up to a whopping 35,000 people, I think, lays the foundation for Cardiff to have its own music festival. Understandably, reasons such as wildlife in the park, commuters who use the park daily, and the already existing needs for the park, such as for sporting reasons, need to be taken into consideration, but for one weekend a year, could we see multiple stages from the Castle to Blackweir Fields? Could Cardiff Castle host one stage, Blackweir Fields the main stage, and maybe even another somewhere else in Bute Park? As Depot continues to expand and grow, from a warehouse to an established live music organiser, will we one day see a festival in Cardiff that rivals the likes of Reading & Leeds? You can read more about the story behind Depot here. They have the names - as well as Kahan, Blackweir will host the likes of Alanis Morissette, who is performing on Wednesday, July 2 - read everything you need to know about the gig here - as well as Slayer and Stevie Wonder later this month - and there is certainly the leg work, organisation and planning in place to pull off gigs this scale. Only time will tell if Blackweir Live transforms into something more, but for now, those of us who love or call Cardiff home can enjoy yet another fantastic addition to the music scene.
