Iran: We will respond firmly to any aggression against our territorial integrity and national security

Saba Yemen18-03-2025
Tehran - Saba:
Iran affirmed today, Monday, that it will respond decisively and forcefully to any attack on its sovereignty, territorial integrity, national security, and interests.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghaei, stated during a press conference in Tehran, "We will respond with full force and determination to any aggression targeting our territorial integrity, security, or national interests, and there is no doubt about that." He emphasized that Iran's stance is in line with defending its national sovereignty and security.
Baghaei added that Iran "will not publish the content of the message from U.S. President Donald Trump publicly," noting that "it will be responded to through the appropriate channels after completing the necessary discussions."
He clarified that "what is being published in the media regarding the content of the message is speculative, though not far from the public statements of the U.S. president." He indicated that "the message will be responded to appropriately after completing the necessary reviews and investigations."
Trump revealed in a televised interview that he seeks to reach a new agreement regarding Iran's nuclear program and that he sent a message to the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, to achieve this goal.

The Telegraph: Israeli Authorities suppress reports of five military bases hit by Iranian Missiles

Tehran – SABA: The British newspaper The Telegraph revealed on Saturday that Iranian missiles directly struck five Israeli military facilities during the recent 12-day conflict, citing satellite radar data withheld due to strict military censorship by the Israeli army. According to the report, six Iranian missiles hit five different Israeli military bases, yet the Israeli authorities have not disclosed the strikes, and media outlets within the entity are barred from reporting them under military censorship laws. However, American academics from Oregon State University, who specialize in analyzing satellite radar data to detect bomb damage in war zones, shared the data with the newspaper. The report indicates that among the targeted facilities were a major airbase, an intelligence-gathering center, and a logistics base. Additionally, 36 missile strikes penetrated Israeli air defense systems, causing significant damage to residential and industrial infrastructure. The paper also stated that seven Iranian strikes hit oil and power facilities, destroyed part of the Weizmann Institute – one of Israel's top scientific research centers – and caused severe damage to the Soroka University Medical Center. Strikes on seven densely populated residential areas displaced more than 15,000 Israelis. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

IRGC: Iran's Response to Any New Aggression Will Be Crushing, Without Red Lines

Tehran - Saba: The spokesperson for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, affirmed that Iran will deliver a 'crushing response' in the event of any new aggression, emphasizing that 'there will be no red lines for us.' In remarks to Al Mayadeen, cited by the Iranian news agency IRNA, Naeini stated that Iran's swift retaliation to the recent attack 'thwarted the enemies' calculations,' adding that the outcome of war is measured by the achievement of objectives — and 'the enemy failed to achieve any of its goals in the recent conflict.' He pointed out that the enemy's central objective was 'to destroy the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran,' noting that the enemy explicitly declared that the war aimed 'to subjugate, divide, and ultimately eliminate Iran,' but failed to do so. The IRGC spokesperson stated that 'the enemy resorted to military action after failing to achieve its goals through negotiations,' suggesting this shift revealed the enemies' 'lack of understanding of the nature of Iran's system.' Naeini added that targeting Iranian military commanders in the recent war 'did not succeed in disrupting Iran's leadership,' and that Iran's response was 'swift and decisive.' He rhetorically asked: 'Who is worried now — Iran or its enemies?' and confidently answered, 'Certainly, it is our enemies who are concerned about Iran's devastating retaliation if a new aggression occurs.' Naeini also revealed that Iran launched 'more than 2,000 missiles and drones toward the occupied territories,' confirming that 'a significant number of these struck their targets with precision.'
