Tougen Anki Episode 4 Release Date
Tougen Anki Episode 4 will release on Friday 1st August in Japan at approximately 11pm (JST). Of course, this means that for most of the world, this one will debut at approximately 5pm (GMT) / 10am (PT).
Tougen Anki's episodes will drop in the native Japanese language with subtitles. Dubbing may well arrive later on down the line, but will largely be dependent on how popular this anime will be.
How Many Episodes Will Tougen Anki Have?
It has been officially announced that Tougen Anki will drop with a 24 episode season order, but like other such anime, it will be split into two parts of 12 episodes a piece.

Summer Wars review – Mamoru Hosoda's birthday party anime puts the world at risk from AI baddie
This virtual reality thriller-cum-family drama from 2009 was an early solo success for Mamoru Hosoda, who along with Your Name's Makoto Shinkai is one of the leading new-school anime auteurs. Made after he withdrew from directing Howl's Moving Castle for Studio Ghibli, it flits between a fraught, soap-operaish saga about a family reunion near the city of Ueda and the metaverse of Oz. It isn't as sophisticated perhaps in its understanding of the online/real-world interface as his 2021 film Belle, but the multilayered storytelling still shows plenty of panache, especially on the visual front. Maths boffin Kenji (voiced by Michael Sinterniklaas in the English-language dub) is browbeaten by schoolmate Natsuki (Brina Palencia) into attending her great-grandmother Sanae's (Pam Dougherty) 90th birthday on her family estate; she needs a willing victim to pose as her boyfriend to impress the matriarch. Fending off his new in-laws, the teenager – also a part-time moderator for Oz – solves an encrypted math problem that opens a backdoor for a malevolent AI called Love Machine to corrupt the network. With much of the world dependent on the services hosted by Oz, much more than the birthday party is at stake. Hosoda shows a novelistic attention to detail that puts Summer Wars a cut above genre anime: from the sense of history underpinning the sprawling Jinnouchi family, always harping on about being descending from famously uncowable samurai, to the baseball game that is a meta-commentary on the unfolding online catastrophe. The deep texturing also extends to the images: not only the translucent and, from a 2025 perspective, somewhat utopian-looking online realm, but also piercing touches of IRL beauty. Sanae's flowers blooming by night as Kenji solves his maths puzzle is a particularly delicate touch. Insisting, via Sanae, on family solidarity and civic spirit in the face of existential challenges, Hosoda also shows something of a moralistic streak. But in the case of Summer Wars, this conviction dissipates somewhat in a gabbled finale that leans into the film's frantic tempo and assigns every Jinnouchi a supposedly key role in defeating Love Machine. Battling an apparently motiveless AI – whose link to bad boy prodigal son Wabisuke (J Michael Tatum) is underexploited – it feels increasingly consequenceless, as virtual action often does. But the narrative complexity and bravura imagery still impress. Summer Wars is in UK cinemas from 3 August.

A whole host of new characters have been added to season two of Wednesday and fans were left stunned by Joanna Lumley's transformation in the Netflix show Wednesday season two will premiere on Netflix on August 6 and the show has been renewed for a third season. For the latest outing, a whole host of new characters have been added alongside Jenna Ortega, who has opened up on the pressures of filming the new season. Whilst the star-studded cast welcomes the likes of Lady Gaga and Steve Buscemi, the hit series will also see Joanna Lumley as Morticia's (Catherine Zeta-Jones) mother. The Absolutely Fabulous star and former model has collaborated with Tim Burton on two previous film projects - James and the Giant Peach and Corpse Bride. Wednesday showrunner Miles Millar said she was at the top of their list to play Hester, sharing: "The idea of bringing Hester, Morticia's mother, into the fold was something we were so excited about. "In the first season we introduced Fester, and then this season we thought, 'Let's introduce Grandmama.' "At the top of our list was Joanna Lumley. Joanna just inhabited this role. And the hair and makeup - she has this extraordinary wig." "Colleen Atwood, our incredible costume designer, designed these amazing costumes. "The first day on set when Joanna walked on, she just was Hester, and she nailed every single line, and it's just so delicious. "The Wednesday-Hester relationship is unique and different; you see a twinkle in both their eyes when they're together on-screen. I think everyone is going to fall in love with Hester." The 79 year old sent fans into a frenzy with her jaw-dropping transformation as she appeared in the show's trailer. UK's STV warns of annual profit miss on subdued ads market, shares plunge
July 28 (Reuters) - British digital media firm STV Group (STVG.L), opens new tab warned on Monday that annual revenue and profit would fall short of market expectations due to a worsening advertising market, sending its shares to a more than 12-year low. Shares fell over 24% - biggest percentage drop since November 2007 - to 145.4 pence. STV has two divisions, Audience, which runs commercial public service broadcaster STV and streaming service STV Player and heavily relies on advertising, and Studios, Scotland's largest TV production company which gets commissions from the likes of Netflix and BBC to produce content. A worsening macroeconomic backdrop in the UK has led to fewer funding approvals for creative projects, which has impacted the group's unscripted content, such as talk shows or documentaries, with some projects in advanced development stages not being approved and some being delayed to 2026. STV Group said its scripted labels remained strong and it was still working on projects for Netflix, Apple, Sky and the BBC, with financial expectations remaining unchanged for that segment. The company expects total advertising revenue, which makes up the lion's share of group revenue, to be down about 8% in the third quarter due to a challenging advertising market. The group expects total revenue to range between 165 million pounds and 180 million pounds ($221.50 million and $241.63 million), and an adjusted operating margin of about 7% for the year ending December 31, 2025.
