Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is over the moon as her film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani won big at the 71st National Film Awards. The film, directed by Karan Johar, also stars Ranveer Singh. It bagged the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment award, and also won Best Choreography for Dhindhora Baje Re, choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. While Ranveer reacted to the film's win last night, Alia Bhatt has now shared a post celebrating the achievement. She praised Vaibhavi Merchant's brilliance, and posted an unseen behind-the-scenes video that shows Alia rehearsing Dhindhora Baje Re with the choreographer. She also applauded every single member of the film's team.
Alia Bhatt shared an unseen throwback video from the rehearsals of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's energetic dance song Dhindhora Baje Re, giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her prep with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. Alia is seen acing the dance steps as Vaibhavi instructs and guides her. Towards the end of the video, an impressed Vaibhavi Merchant is seen giving Alia money as a token of appreciation for her performance. Alia is seen touching her feet, and jumping with excitement upon receiving it. Meanwhile, yesterday, Ranveer Singh reacted to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's win at the National Film Awards. In his heartfelt note, he wrote, 'The real win for RRKPK is how it has grown to become people's go-to comfort film. They rewatch it again and again, as a form of emotional regulation. Ek aisi film jo dil ka bojh halka kar deti hai. That's wholesome entertainment indeed. Feeling proud, feeling blessed, feeling grateful."
