Nothing might be forced to diversify its smartphone offering

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro vs. Nothing Phone | Image credit: PhoneArena Despite the fact that it doubles its annual revenue to more than $500 million and crossed $1 billion in lifetime sales last year, Nothing doesn't seem to content with what its phones sales look like on paper. Nothing plans to introduce new family of phones that will be sold alongside the company's already established 'Pro' lineup. Tipster Yogesh Brar claims Nothing is considering adding 'Lite' and/or 'T' branded phones to their lineup because 'Pro' models aren't enough to boost the company's revenue to healthy levels.
Looks like Nothing could be adding 'Lite' or 'T' branded phones to their lineup..
Pro models are just not cutting it.. — Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) July 22, 2025 The rumor comes as a big surprise considering that Nothing already has a sub-brand specialized in entry-level smartphones: CMF by Nothing. The new Nothing Lite phones are likely to compete directly with the CMF lineup, unless the UK-based company makes them a bit more appealing hardware-wise. As far as the possible 'T' branded phones that Nothing is reportedly considering, these are more likely to succeed without cannibalizing any of the company's other smartphones. Typically, a 'T' branded phone is a more compact flagship, at least that's how OnePlus tagged their smaller top-tier phones. Assuming Nothing will do the same for its new family, it means fans of the brand will have the option to buy a compact flagship made by their favorite brand.Nothing has a few options to diversify its lineup of smartphones, but we don't know for certain whether or not the UK-based company is even considering that, at least until more tipster chime in with more information on the matter.

Nothing has been criticized for the price of its latest flagship, the Phone (3), which might be one of the reasons the company plans to offer customers a cheaper flagship.
It remains to be seen how Nothing will name it, but the choices – Nothing Phone (3) T vs. Phone (3) Lite, don't seem too catchy. They're also quite unoriginal, so I sincerely hope Nothing finds a better naming scheme for its other smartphones in case this rumor proves to be accurate.

Deals: Samsung offers Buy and Try program for new Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE

Not sure that a foldable phone is right for you? Samsung and participating retailers like Amazon are letting you take the new Galaxy Z foldables for a spin with the Buy and Try program. This extends the return window to 45-100 days – you can return the phone (in good condition) and get a full refund if you decide that these phones are not right for you. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 also kept its free storage upgrade offer from the pre-order period, though it seems to apply only to certain colors. Also, Prime and Prime Student members can get a £100 discount. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 has an even better offer – in addition to the free storage upgrade and £100 off for Prime members, it also gets 10% off at checkout. In fact, several Samsung models get that, more on them in a bit. Like its more premium sibling, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE gets the same offer. You may have been tempted to get the old Z Flip6 instead, but right now the FE has the better pricing with these offers. Check out the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic – you can grab a 10% discount with the GALAXY8 promo code and you will also collect an additional band and a Duo Wireless charger for free (the two are valued at £138). Remember that Samsung went with proprietary bands this generation, so you can't use the standard bands you have. And the charger will let you top up your phone and watch at the same time. The Google Pixel 9 and 9 Pro have some solid discounts of over 30% at the moment. Check out our Pixel 9 vs. 9 Pro article for a detailed head-to-head comparison. Google Pixel 9 Pro £320 off Read our review 16/128GB - £680 at Amazon UK Finally, we mentioned that some Samsungs get a 10% discount at checkout. This includes the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Edge flagships (but not the S25 Ultra) and the likes of the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy A56 too. Some have additional discounts on top of that, though not all. You can find the full list here. We may get a commission from qualifying sales.

Xiaomi TV Stick 4K 2nd gen unveiled with much faster chipset, HDR10+ support

Just over two years ago, we reviewed the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. We found it to be a solid player, but its support for HDR formats was lacking. The company just unveiled the second generation model that fixes that and brings a host of other improvements. The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K 2nd gen is powered by a new chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU and an ARM Mali-G310 V2 GPU. Compared to the old chip (4x A35, Mali-G31 MP2), this one has 80% higher CPU performance and a whopping 150% boost to GPU performance. The memory capacity remains unchanged at 2GB RAM and 8GB storage, however. This now runs Google TV interface. Google made a mess of its TV product naming, but Google TV is the one you want (Android TV is the older launcher but also the name of the OS). The new stick supports not only Dolby Vision, but also HDR10+ (which was lacking on the first-gen stick). For audio, it handles both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The original stick already supported AV1 decoding, as does this one. Connectivity has been improved with faster Wi-Fi 6 (ax, up from Wi-Fi 5/ac). Bluetooth is the same at v5.2. The included remote has a few new buttons. It uses Bluetooth, as the stick is likely to be hidden behind your TV and infrared won't work (IR needs line of sight). The new Xiaomi TV+ launches a free live TV streaming service. It also adds YouTube and Apps buttons to the Netflix and Prime Video buttons. Right now, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K 2nd gen is listed on AliExpress for €40/$46 (this is with a claimed 52% discount). We should start seeing it on other retailers soon too. Source
