The best pictures so far as spectacular tall ships arrive in Scottish harbour
Around fifty vessels and 2,000 sailing crew members are sailing into Aberdeen, after racing from Dunkirk to the Scottish city.
Ships from South America, the Middle East and Europe are set to compete in the four-day extravaganza, which is running from Saturday July 19 until Tuesday July 22.
The tallest ship taking part is Dar Mlodziezy, from Poland, which is 62.5 metres (205ft) high. The BAP Union, which has already arrived in Aberdeen, has travelled all the way from Peru - the furthest afield of all the ships.

And you don't need to give up civilisation completely. Just a short 3.5-mile trip from the island is the village of Strontian, which has shops, schools, a café, church, doctor's surgery and B&Bs. A bit further afield is Fort William dubbed the 'outdoor capital of the UK' - with hiking, skiing, whisky tours and access to Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain. And if you've got a few more million in the bank, another Scottish island is also on sale - Shuna Island, a massive 1,110-acre plot with eight homes, a ruined castle, a working farm and a holiday business, priced at £5.5 million.

Alongside Scots singer Rianne Downey, the Beautiful South legend is the headline act for the opening night of this year's Belladrum festival in the Highlands.
