Rachel Zegler Embraces Romance in Dior Gown for ‘Evita' Press Night in London
Zegler's romantic dress featured sheer fabric and exposed boning throughout, along with intricate beadwork all over the frock. With a romantic aesthetic, Zegler's dress also featured a playful use of proportions, including a voluminous skirt that juxtaposed the fitted bodice of the dress from the French luxury fashion house.

Zegler paired the look with pointed-toe heels by Malone Souliers and accessorized her attire with jewelry pieces from David Morris and Ananya. The actress and singer's hair was styled by Dayaruci, with makeup by artist Valeria Ferreira. Zegler's look was curated by stylist Sarah Slutsky Tooley, who also works with McKenna Grace and Renée Elise Goldsberry, among others.
Zegler's 'Evita' after party look made its runway debut during Paris Couture Week last January. Curated by Maria Grazia Chiuri, who announced in May that she was stepping down from her role as the women's artistic director, the collection 'was a festival of diaphanous corsets, crinolines and fitted tailcoats,' Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD's review of the collection.
'Wraparound panels embroidered with the botanical drawings of Indian artist Rithika Merchant were echoed in hoop skirts dripping with tendrils of lace and embroidered flowers, although these distracted somewhat from the core idea of the show, which was a playful exploration of silhouettes and proportions,' Diderich wrote.
Zegler has a close relationship with the French luxury fashion house. In December 2023, Dior appointed the actress and singer as a brand ambassador. Along with wearing designs from Dior's women's collections, Zegler also works in tandem with Peter Philips, creative and image director of Dior Makeup.

Chaos near Oasis Manchester gig as fans 'scrap' on 'Gallagher Hill'
Camping chairs, toilet roll and bottles were lobbed as ticketless Oasis fans "scrapped" on Sunday on what has become known as Gallagher Hill during the final concert at Manchester's Heaton Park. Concluding their run of five dates at Heaton Park, the rockers once again performed in front of close to 80,000 devoted fans on their home turf. The 'Gallagher Hill' viewpoint has become a go-to spot for those without tickets looking to get involved as they watch from the other side of Heaton Park. But during the concert, witnesses claimed tensions rose between groups of fans who were involved in "football chanting". It appeared there were also clashes between Manchester City and Manchester United fans. Footage showed the groups throwing bottles and other items at each other. At one point, members of the groups became involved in physical altercations as they clashed and were also seen goading one another and shouting as cans were repeatedly thrown. Blue flares were also let off into the sky. "Football fans were chanting, camping chairs were thrown," one person said. "Then a scrap. Then bottles. One lad got punched in the face." Another fan said the incident continued for around half an hour. She said: "It was pretty scary. [There were] too many people to intervene. "It was two massive groups, like hundreds, mainly kids, but some adults in almost lines or clusters opposite each other. "They were launching glass bottles at each other and then in the crowd. Loads of people seemed to leave where I was. It went on for about half an hour. [It was] horrible."

Scottie Scheffler wins first British Open, inches closer to Grand Slam
American Scottie Scheffler won his first British Open on Sunday in a dominant fashion, raising the Claret Jug at the 153rd iteration of golf's oldest tournament four strokes ahead of Harris English. Fans at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland erupted as the 29-year-old Dallas native sank his final putt for par and walked across the green to meet his wife, Meredith, and son, Bennett. Scheffler went -17 on the day, scoring 68 on the fourth round of the tournament on Sunday and earning a final score of 267. The Champion Golfer of the Year — the title given to the winner of British Open, the oldest of golf's four major championships — defeated American Harris English, who finished 4 shots behind, with a score of 66 on the round. The World No.1 is only the fourth player to win The Open, the Masters and PGA Championship before 30, joining an elite list of Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tiger Woods. This is Scheffler's second major tournament win of 2025, after his dominant performance at this year's PGA Championship, which was held at Quail Hollow Golf & Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Open victory is his 11th win on the PGA tour since 2024, further solidifying an already unprecedented career. The win at Royal Portrush leaves one major tournament left for Scheffler to complete professional golf's coveted Grand Slam, or when a golfer has won all four major championships — The Masters, the U.S. Open, the British Open and the PGA Championship. Scheffler's next opportunity to complete the Grand Slam will be at the 2026 U.S. Open, held at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Long Island, New York. The tournament begins June 18 and ends June 21, which is notably Scheffler's 30th birthday. What shocked "Matlock" star Kathy Bates?
