EX-TOTTENHAM star Aramide Oteh was the victim of sickening racist abuse during a Champions League qualifier, his club have claimed.
Welsh football club The New Saints released a statement on social media condemning alleged racist abuse against Oteh by a member of the home crowd during their game against KF Shkëndija.

The club's coach, Craig Harrison, also claimed the 26-year-old striker was left in tears at the abuse.
The North Macedonia-based outfit beat The New Saints 2-1 after extra time to secure a 2-1 aggregate victory in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
However, The New Saints have released a damning statement against a fan placed in the home end of the 3,000-strong crowd at the Tetovo City Stadium.
The statement read: "The New Saints FC strongly and unequivocally condemn the racist abuse directed at Aramide Oteh by a member of the home crowd following the conclusion of tonight's UEFA Champions League first qualifying round match against KF Shkëndija.
"There is absolutely no place for racism - either in football or in society.
"Everyone at the club is offering their full support to Aramide and stand firmly by him."
"The New Saints are proud to support UEFA's #NoToRacism campaign and remain committed to promoting equality, respect, and inclusion both on and off the pitch."
SunSport have contacted Uefa and Shkëndija for comment on the matter.
Speaking after the game, Harrison added: "He is in tears - that doesn't happen for no reason.
It's clearly what's been said and done. Obviously that's unacceptable. We will be reporting that.
Crystal Palace legend Geoff Thomas slams Uefa for denying them a Europa League place
"For a fan to speak to anybody like that is an absolute disgrace and let's hope the culprit gets a fair punishment and is dealt with."
Oteh, originally from Lee in South London, came on as a late substitute in the clash.
Having come through the academy at Tottenham, whom he joined aged eight, he eventually left the club at the age of 18.
From there, he joined Queens Park Rangers, going on to make 17 first-team appearances and scoring once.
He went on to loan to Walsall, Bradford, Stevenage and Colchester between 2019 and 2021.
Oteh left QPR permanently in 2021 to join Salford on a short-term deal.
Crawley were next, with Oteh scoring his first goal for the club in their first-ever win over Harrogate.
In 2023, he then returned to Walsall before winding up at TNS a year later.
Defeat for the Saints means they have dropped into the qualifiers for the Conference League, where they will face Luxembourg's Differdange.

Tottenham prepare £60m bid to sign Bournemouth star ahead of PSG
Tottenham are ready to launch a £60 million bid to sign Bournemouth centre-back Illia Zabarnyi, according to reports. Zabarnyi has spent just over two years at Bournemouth having joined in a £24 million deal from from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023. According to Sky Sport Italy, Spurs are in the market to sign Zabarnyi and are willing to meet Bournemouth's £60m asking price. However, Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Ukraine international and have already seen their £52m offer rejected by Bournemouth. It's claimed that Zabarnyi is aware of PSG's approach and the 22-year-old would favour a move to the Champions League holders over Spurs. Speaking in February, Bournemouth manager, Andoni Iraola, highlighted how important Zabarnyi has been to his side. 'Zaba for me is even easier to explain, I think,' Iraola told the Daily Echo. 'I'm not sure if we decided to change him one minute in the time I've been here. 'So that basically says everything about the confidence we have in him and how reliable and how robust also he is and he's the kind of player that is very easy to coach. 'For a coach, he pays attention, he comes every day to train with a great attitude and I am enjoying also his development because now when I arrived he was a great player but quite shy. More Trending 'He didn't talk a lot and now you see him managing everything from behind, shouting to the ones in front asking for the others and this is a show of how he's developing and he's becoming a more important player even for us. 'I love him personally and as a player.' Meanwhile, Thomas Frank has already seen his Spurs squad bolstered this month with the arrival of Japanese centre-back Kota Takai and the £55m deal to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham. Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso have also joined Spurs on permanent deals following their loan spells last season, while Luka Vuskovic, the highly rated 18-year-old Croatian centre-back, has finally made the move from Hajduk Split after a £12m deal was agreed in September 2023. Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN alleged hitman accused of killing Scots gangsters Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jnr in Spain won't face an extradition hearing until November - five months after his arrest. Michael Riley, 44, is charged with the murders of the underworld figures at Monaghan's Bar in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, on May 31. Riley, of Huyton, Liverpool, was arrested by Merseyside police on June 13 under an international arrest warrant issued by the Spanish authorities. His extradition hearing was due to take place on October 9 at Westminster Magistrates Court, but it will now be heard on November 20. Riley was not on a video link from Wandsworth Prison for the hearing. Judge Timothy King said: "I am prepared to vacate the hearing. "I make directions for the extradition hearing to be heard on 20 November. 'The next call over date will be on 15 August. Hopefully Mr Riley will have been produced via video link.' Monaghan, 43, and Lyons Jnr, 46, were key Lyons crime gang members. Malaga-based Spanish police chief Pedro Agudo Novo has described Riley as a member of the rival Glasgow-based Daniels gang. Bizarrely, Police Scotland have denied a link between the 30-year feud and the murders. Lyons Jnr died after he was hit by a single bullet outside the bar in front of horrified drinkers. CCTV showed the gunman pursuing Monaghan inside the pub before shooting him dead. Riley remains in custody.
