Actor Sahil Salathia made headlines after getting eliminated on the first episode of The Traitors. Sahil took over social media and started posting videos after he felt betrayed by traitors Elnaaz Norouzi, Raj Kundra and Purav Jha, who selected him for 'murder" in the very first episode of the reality TV show.
The twist came as a shock to Sahil, who later started posting videos on Instagram to express his disappointment. In a conversation with Filmygyan, the actor shared that his fellow contestant Purav Jha has apologised to him and left him a text message. 'Purav ka mujhe parso bhi message aaya that 'Bhai maaf karna, feeling very sorry for you' or something," Sahil revealed.

Days after the first episode of The Traitors aired on Prime Video, Sahil's emotional videos took over the internet as the actor was seen calling out everyone for eliminating him. He stated, 'People might be thinking I'm being dramatic – maybe I am, maybe I'm still that emotional kid, and I want to keep that child alive." Sahil directly called out Elnaaz and questioned, 'What did Elnaaz gain by killing her best friend of eight years in episode one, over 17 other contestants?"
Sahil's emotional reaction after getting eliminated from the show stirred conversations among the audiences, and Purav's possible apology hinted at his decision to go behind Sahil's back along with Elnaaz Norouzi and Raj Kundra to 'murder" him.
Sahil, who made his debut as an actor on the small screen with Ashutosh Gowarikar's Everest, was previously seen on other television series, including P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke, Hasmukh and others. Before appearing on The Traitors, he was seen in various web series like Paurashpur, Kaun Banegi Shikharwati, Honeymoon Photographer and others.
Hosted by Karan Johar, The Traitors is the Indian adaptation of the globally acclaimed reality show of the same name. The show features 20 participants, including Apoorva Mukhija, AKA The Rebel Kid, Jannat Zubair, Uorfi Javed, Raftaar, Anshula Kapoor, Sufi Motiwala, Purav Jha, Elnaaz Norouzi, Jasmin Bhasin, Ashish Vidyarthi, Nikita Luther, Janvi Gaur, Sudhanshu Pandey and Harsh Gujral.
