Prime Day Keeps LEGO Star Wars Alive With Phantom Menace BrickHeadz 6-Pack for Peanuts

Today is Prime Day, which despite it's name actually last four days. From the time of writing until the end of the day July 11, you can save a ton on all sorts of products across every category on Amazon—including Lego! Check out this Lego BrickHeadz set. It comes with six fan-favorite Star Wars characters from Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. Normally, this set goes for $55, but for a limited time, you can scoop it up for 31% off. That brings the price down to just $38, saving you $17.
Lego absolutely rules. There's so much joy to be found in the process of the build. It's soothing to just tune out for an hour or more, listen to a podcast or throw on an old-favorite show or movie in the background, while you just put things together brick by brick. It's a mindful activity that can be an therapeutic excuse to not be doom scrolling on my phone. You can let your stresses go and just focus on the pieces in front of you. And when you're done, you've got some sick toy or display to put on your shelf.

BrickHeadz are basically Lego's take on Funko Pops—cool character's from various media franchises reimagined as little guys with big heads and beady eyes. I think they're more fun though because you get to build them yourself. This Star Wars Phantom Menace set includes six of these fellers. In the box, you get 732 pieces that together make up six characters featured in the first movie of the prequel trilogy. They include Jar Jar Binks, Anakin Skywalker, Queen Amidala, Captain Panaka, Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul. They even come with authentic accessory elements like lightsabers or a blaster.
Anakin is seen in hit pod-racing outfit and measures in adorably shorter than the rest of the gang. My favorite detail is Darth Maul breaks away from the templated back eyes with white dots most character have by default. He has his iconic and menacing red and yellow eyes that still fit into the BrickHeadz playful design. He's also got ten horns coming off his head.
This Lego Star Wars Phantom Menace was made to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Lego Star Wars. For Prime Day, you can save a bit of cash on these six display figures. Typically priced at $55, Prime members can get the set for just $38—a 31% discount. That's save you a whole $17 through July 11.

Every Best Buy store will have Nintendo Switch 2 consoles on July 17th

It's been over a month since the Switch 2's record-breaking launch, and the console is becoming easier to get with each restock. However, if you've been waiting for the launch of Donkey Kong Bananza to buy one, Best Buy sneakily announced that its next in-store restock will happen Thursday, July 17th, the game's launch day. Every Best Buy location will have consoles in stock. Best Buy's in-store restock announcement doesn't mention whether both the standalone console ($449.99) and Mario Kart World bundle ($499.99) will be available, or if one will be available in higher quantities than the other. It only states that stores will have 'limited quantities.' We've reached out to Best Buy for more specific information, and we'll update this story if we receive a response. If you prefer shopping online, you can request an invite to order the Nintendo Switch 2 console and Mario Kart World bundle at Amazon. Hate Google TV home screen ads? There's a new one for you to ignore

Joe Maring / Android Authority TL;DR Google has started displaying a new Star Wars/Coca-Cola ad on Google TV home screens. The new ad is displayed at the top of the For You page and takes over the majority of the UI. Google TV has had similarly annoying ads for Taco Bell, March Madness, and more. As much as Google TV gets right, the platform's obsession with displaying advertisements and sponsored content is by far one of its greatest pitfalls. Most recently, one of the newest ads to hit people's Google TV screens is a giant advertisement for Star Wars-themed Coca-Cola cans. As spotted in the r/AndroidTV subreddit a few days ago, the new ad is found at the top of Google TV's For You page and overtakes most of your TV display. There's some Kylo Ren artwork behind Star Wars Coca-Cola cans, paired with a giant 'Sponsored by Coca-Cola' label. u/BarfingMonkey / Reddit Does this look bad? Yes. Is there any way to get rid of it? No. This has been the case for Google TV ads for a while now, and, unfortunately, this is just the latest example of Google's insistence on turning your Google TV home screen into a glorified billboard. We've been reporting on ongoing complaints about Google TV advertising for well over a year now, and it's something I experienced firsthand when I tried replacing my Apple TV 4K with a Google TV Streamer this past April. I saw similar full-screen ads for sponsored TV shows and movies at the top of the For You page, plus a Taco Bell ad with a giant QR code accompanying it. I was also served a Target-sponsored section further down the home page for March Madness videos. Frankly, it's a mess. Joe Maring / Android Authority Given Google's history with ads on Google TV, this newest Star Wars/Coca-Cola one isn't surprising, but it's still disappointing. There's a lot to like about Google TV, and the fact that Google feels it has to ruin it with constant advertisements like this is unfortunate. If you're fed up with Google TV ads, the good news is that you can use a third-party launcher to access all of your apps without being bombarded by these ads and other sponsored content. As many people in that Reddit thread suggest, Projectivity Launcher is the best way to do this. Got a tip? Talk to us! Email our staff at Email our staff at news@ . LEGO Star Wars Still Lingers at Prime Day Price With the Millennium Falcon, Last Chance If You Missed It

Few movie ships stir up excitement like the Millennium Falcon. Seeing Han Solo's famously scruffy freighter zip across the screen still gives fans a little jolt, and building a brick version gives that feeling a place on your shelf. The Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon 25th Anniversary set turns the fastest hunk of junk into a hands-on weekend project that sparks nostalgia and looks great when the last piece clicks into place. See at Amazon Head over to Amazon to get the Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon 25th Anniversary Collectable Model for just $68, down from its usual price of $85. That's a discount of $17 and 20% off. The box holds a tidy stack of numbered bags and a full-color instruction book that leads you step by step, so even first-time builders feel confident. Instead of racing through, you get to slow down, sort pieces, and watch the Falcon take shape layer by layer. Rounded plates form the classic saucer shape, simple side panels create the two front mandibles, and a printed dish pops on top to finish the look most people recognize from a mile away. When the final brick lands, the model stands about the length of a paperback novel, small enough for a bookcase but large enough to catch the eye. Building can be a solo project or a shared moment. Parents can clip pieces together with kids while older siblings dig for parts in the pile, giving everyone a role. Because the model rests on its own display stand, you never have to worry about tiny feet knocking it off a table. A printed nameplate sits right under the nose, so guests know exactly what ship is parked in your living room. Collectors will like the subtle anniversary badge on the box, noting twenty-five years of Lego Star Wars kits. It is a simple nod that turns the set into a little time capsule, a nice touch if you are adding to a growing fleet or gifting it to someone who saw the first film in theaters. For newer fans, the model works as a quick history lesson, showing the design that kicked off decades of star-hopping adventures. Whether you want a satisfying build, a desk decoration, or a present for the Star Wars devotee in your life, this Falcon is an easy win. The set is still available for $68 at Amazon, a welcome drop from the regular $85 price. Feeling like putting together some Legos? This is one kit you'll love to work with. See at Amazon
