Atin Ito holds concert off Pagasa Island waters despite Chinese shadowing
'We are now inside the territorial waters of Pag-asa Island. Due to the rainfall, the second part of the historic sea concert is held inside the ship, sa bridge,' one of the organizers Emman Hizon told reporters.
'As of the moment, constant shadowing lang ng CCG vessels,' he added.
The convoy of the civilian-led mission will continue to sail near Pagasa Island, according to Hizon.
Atin Ito said the 'Concert at Sea for Peace' will serve as a platform for artists, musicians, and fisherfolk from various claimant countries to come together and promote peace, cultural exchange, and regional solidarity through music and the arts.

The first part of the concert was held during the send-off ceremony for the civilian mission in El Nido, Palawan on May 26. OPM singer-songwriters Ebe Dancel and Noel Cabangon were among the performers during the ceremony.
More than 150 people are on board Atin Ito's M/V Kapitan Felix Oca including volunteers, artists and their crew, the press, as well as boat staff.
'We aim to uplift coastal communities by amplifying the lived experiences and aspirations of our fisherfolk, and to foster regional harmony through shared cultural and maritime narratives. We will sail not with warships, but with songs; not with hostility, but with harmony and solidarity,' Atin Ito convenor Rafaela David earlier said.
The civilian mission is set to be completed on May 30.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Monday said it has deployed two of its vessels, Melchora Aquino and BRP Malapascua, to escort the civilian-led mission.
On Tuesday morning, Atin Ito said two China Coast Guard (CCG) vessels CCG 3306 and CCG 21549 shadowed the Philippine civilian mission ship around 54 nautical miles from El Nido, Palawan. The Chinese vessels were spotted as close as three nautical miles.
The Chinese and Philippine sides also exchanged radio challenges.
Tensions continue as Beijing claims almost all of the South China Sea, a conduit for more than $3 trillion of annual shipborne commerce, including parts claimed by the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei.
Parts of the South China Sea that fall within Philippine territory have been renamed by the government as West Philippine Sea to reinforce the country's claim.
The West Philippine Sea refers to the maritime areas on the western side of the Philippine archipelago including Luzon Sea and the waters around, within and adjacent to the Kalayaan Island Group and Bajo de Masinloc.
In 2016, the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague ruled in favor of the Philippines over China's claims in the South China Sea, saying that it had "no legal basis."
China has refused to recognize the decision.

'Food Delivery: Fresh from the West Philippine Sea' in select cinemas beginning August 1
"Food Delivery: Fresh from the West Philippine Sea" finally premiered in Manila last July 27 in Rockwell cinemas. After being pulled out from its initial release last March, the documentary had its world premiere at the Doc Edge Festival in New Zealand in June, where it won the Best Festival Category Tides of Change Award. The documentary directed by Baby Ruth Villarama serves a visual feast, giving the audience front row seats to the choppy and immensely rich waters of the West Philippine Sea. The movie shows the story of fishermen Arnel Satam and Osman Pumicpic whose families and livelihood depend on the bounty of the sea but are barred by Chinese vessels from entering the contested waters of Scarborough shoal. It also documents the tireless efforts of the Philippine Navy, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and the Philippine Coastguard in securing the country's territorial waters, delivering vital aid and supplies to their colleagues in remote island outposts while dodging massive Chinese vessels that continue to harass them. The Philippine premiere was attended by Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro, journalist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Maria Ressa, and Philippine Ambassador to New Zealand Kira Christianne D. Azucena. The premiere also included a talkback with director Baby Ruth Villarama and the fishermen featured in the film who were able to watch the movie for the first time. In the talkback moderated by journalist Christian Esguerra, he says: 'Of course, no wonder, there were people who were trying to make sure that this film would not be seen in the Philippines or anywhere else in the world because the truth is so powerful.' Baby Ruth Villarama who also directed 'Sunday Beauty Queen' in 2016 shared seeing harassments in the West Philippine Sea motivated them in making "Food Delivery." 'We are storytellers in our humble offering, maybe we can do something. So Chuck and I thought of a common ground to bring people together and bring the issue closer to the gut. Which is why we thought of the food delivery," she said. One of the film's producers, Atty. Howard Calleja, shared what he wants to impart to the film's audience: 'Sana ang takeaway dito is malaman ng tao na hindi lang ito about water, hindi lang ito about lines or territory or nine-dash line na pinag-aawayan abroad. Zack Tabudlo, Ben&Ben twins Paolo and Miguel to join 'The Voice Kids PH' as new coaches
"The Voice Kids Philippines" is returning soon, and it will introduce not one but three new coaches in its next season! According to Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Thursday, the new coaches are former "The Voice Kids Philippines" contestant himself, Zack Tabudlo, and Ben&Ben twins Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico. Per Zack, he could not help but feel nostalgic now that he's coming in as a coach. "It throws me back talaga when I was young kasi I've told this to the coaches as well. I guess out of all the coaches that have gone in 'The Voice,' I feel like I can be the one who can really justify the feelings of these kids and what they actually went through," the OPM star said. Meanwhile, Paolo and Miguel will be the show's first-ever duo to be part of the coaching panel. They will share a single chair and must decide as one. "Siyempre isa lang 'yung button e, 'di naman dalawa at paano kaya mangyayari kung napindot mo tapos ayaw ko pala? " said Miguel "E di pipindutin ulit para bumalik, quipped Paolo. On the other hand, Julie Anne San Jose and Billy Crawford are returning as coaches in the show.
