The Taiwanese performer, who gained attention earlier in the series for his comedic renditions of Queen songs, returned to the BGT stage to perform a medley using the toys as instruments.
While judge Amanda Holden appeared amused, even standing up at the end of his set, Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon gave him the red buzzer.
And fans watching at home weren't won over either, sharing their frustration over his inclusion in the semi-finals.
One wrote on X, formerly Twitter, "Why the f**k would you put that through of actual talented people, make it make sense because that was fucking shocking. You judges put it though, d**kheads #bgt."

A third raged: "How the hell did this guy, with squeaky toys, get through to the semi finals? #BritainsGotTalent #bgt."
One more fumed: "This could quite possibly be the WORST Semi Final act I've ever seen #BGT."
Their frustration didn't end there.

Simon Cowell searches for new boyband in Netflix docuseries
Simon Cowell is to search for the next big boyband in a new Netflix docuseries. The man behind the success of One Direction stars in Simon Cowell: The Next Act, which sees him hold open casting calls before releasing the debut single of a new music group. The 65-year-old announced he was launching a search for a new pop group in June 2024. He told the PA news agency at the time: "I would pray to find a band as good as One Direction and to find the records as good as they made. There are so many factors involved to make a band successful all over the world." Through Cowell's production company, Syco Entertainment, which is known for Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor, and The Greatest Dancer, the music mogul has helped to launch the careers of pop bands including One Direction, Little Mix, and Fifth Harmony. One Direction, comprising Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, were formed on The X Factor in 2010. The boyband had hits with songs including What Makes You Beautiful and Best Song Ever before going on an "extended hiatus" in 2016. In October 2024, Payne died at the age of 31 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Argentina. The new six-episode docuseries will stream on Netflix in December 2025. The search was documented by a TV crew from Box to Box Films, the company behind Formula 1: Drive to Survive. News of the show was announced alongside a slate of new unscripted Netflix series, including the reality shows Let's Marry Harry and Calabasas Confidential.

Ant and Dec teen drama Byker Grove to return to screens in ITV streaming deal
ITV is to stream the teen drama Byker Grove, which launched the careers of Britain's Got Talent hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, for the first time. The teen drama, which ran between 1989 and 2006 on BBC One, is currently available to watch for free on STV Player and will be made available on ITVX later this year. Craig Morris, managing editor of ITV Channels and ITVX, said: "We are so excited to bring this iconic coming-of-age series to ITVX, marking the first TV appearances of two ITV stalwarts. "Relive all the great moments with us later this year." The show also launched the careers of actors Jill Halfpenny and Donna Air and followed the lives and relationships of young people at a youth club called the Grove in the Byker area of Newcastle. Byker Grove was known for tackling social issues, such as drug addiction, child abuse, homophobia and abortion, and in 1994, the series featured what is thought to be the first gay kiss on UK children's TV, when character Noddy Fishwick kissed Gary Hendrix at the back of a cinema. McPartlin and Donnelly played PJ and Duncan respectively in the series and went on to enjoy chart success under their characters' names with eight UK top 20 singles, including the number one Let's Get Ready To Rhumble. The show was also the starting point for former writer Catherine Johnson, who went on to pen hit musical Mamma Mia!, and Tom Hooper, who directed episodes of the show in 1997 and went on to win an Oscar for best director for his work on The King's Speech. The show being made available for streaming comes as part of a deal with McPartlin and Donnelly's production company Mitre Studios, which owns the rights to the series. As well as hosting ITV talent show Britain's Got Talent, the pair have also presented I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway since leaving Byker Grove.
