HALF of Brits are 'terrified' of dancing in public – with three in 10 afraid others will laugh at them.

With 12 per cent admitting the mere possibility of a boogie under the gaze of others is likely to see them break out in a cold sweat.
Nearly six in 10 (58 per cent) of those polled have actively avoided social gatherings where music was being played - because they were scared of being pressured into dancing when they didn't want to.
While 13 per cent have managed to avoid it for so long, they can't even remember the last time they actually had a boogie when out and about.
The research was commissioned by Lipton Ice Tea to launch its new Kombucha range, teaming up with Wes Nelson to create a new track called 'Kombucha-cha' which aims to inspire more people to dance.
Amid fears the UK is entering a dance drought, Wes Nelson, said: 'We all need a little more joy in our lives, and nothing makes you feel alive more than moving your feet.
'Whether you're dancing in your bedroom or out with your mates in the sunshine, let's bring the fun back.'
The study also found 47 per cent would like the confidence to dance like no one is watching - rising to 65 per cent among Gen Z adults.
It emerged this generation is most apprehensive about boogieing in public (53 per cent), followed by Millennials (52 per cent) and Gen X (48 per cent).
With the top reasons adults are fearful of dancing in public including a lack of belief in their abilities (46 per cent), feeling silly (44 per cent), and being stared at (33 per cent).
Despite their concerns many do like dancing – it's just the doing it in public which appears to be a worry for some.
JoJo Siwa 'is sending secret message to Chris Hughes' say fans as she shows off sexy new dance moves
As many as 63 per cent said they enjoy it 'a great deal' or a 'moderate amount', while 59 per cent said the activity results in them feeling happier.
More than half (53 per cent) even said it makes them feel alive and 26 per cent said it helps with their mental health.
And perhaps reassuringly, 76 per cent believe anyone can dance – that there's no need to have formal training to do so.

However, 11 per cent also claim there are no clubs or bars for them to dance in anymore.
Carried out through OnePoll, the study also found, that prior to taking part in the research, 40 per cent were unaware dancing releases endorphins.
Emma Marshall, happiness expert for Lipton Kombucha, which will be taking over Battersea Power Station Square on June 13 for a day of 'non-stop feel-good tunes,' said: 'From feeling energised to releasing endorphins, loads of people are missing out on the benefits of dancing.
'You don't need to be a professional dancer, all you need is an upbeat track and space to move - you'll feel the benefits!''

But for supermum Zoe Sullivan, it's an epic challenge. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 It's tricky for Zoe to cook for such a large family 2 The Cajun pasta is an instant hit Zoe, 46, and husband Ben, 50, have one of Scotland's biggest families with 12 children. The pair are parents to Elizabeth, 20, Olivia, 18, Noah, 15, Evangeline, 13, Tobias, 12, Agnes, seven, Joseph, six, Flo, three, and two sets of twins, Charlotte and Isabelle, 17, and Leah and Erin, nine. They have their own YouTube channel and in an episode this week Zoe was cooking up one of her family favourites, a viral recipe for Cajun chicken pasta. It only has seven core ingredients, takes 25 minutes to cook and costs less than £2 per portion - ideal for such a big brood. The vlog post reads: "It's perfect for busy parents, large families, or anyone looking for easy, tasty dinner ideas that kids and adults will love." Zoe was making the meal for four people in the afternoon and then another eight people later, for 12 of her 14-strong family. For her dozen, she cubes 12 chicken breasts and puts them in a bowl with 12 tablespoons of Cajun spice, and some oil to coat. She then fries the chicken in a pan until it's browned then adds around six garlic gloves - or six teaspoons of lazy garlic, six tablespoons of garlic puree and another six tablespoons of Cajun spice. Then Zoe adds 900ml of veg stock and 1,200ml of double cream to the chicken mix and cooks until the meat is cooked and the sauce thickens. Zoe then mixes the chicken mix and pasta together to complete the simple, family meal. The Moray mum said: "It's super yummy, it's really nice. It's creamy Cajun chicken pasta - try it for sure." I am a mum of 12, our life is crazy but I would have another baby tomorrow Zoe suggests leaving out a bit of spice if your kids don't like their food with too much kick and adding a bit of fresh parsley to finish off. One follower said: "It looks lovely I bet it tasted delicious, I shall be trying it myself." And another said: "The Cajun chicken looks really good, I'm watching this in the evening and it's making me hungry."

Tourist expects stunning panoramic view from his hotel window.. but leaves viewers speechless when he pulls back curtain
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A TOURIST has left people in stitches after revealing the unique view he has from his hotel window. With the school holidays now just right around the corner, many Brits will be about to jet off on well-earned holidays abroad. 2 Ben expected a lovely panoramic view from his window Credit: TikTok/@bben9450 2 He was gobsmacked by how small the window is Credit: TikTok/@bben9450 When most of us go away, we long for a gorgeous sea view, or to be able to see the rolling countryside out of our hotel window. However, one holidaymaker didn't get quite what he was expecting on a recent break. Brad Ben, from Dublin, recently took a trip to Galway, and spent his time there in a modern looking hotel room. Sharing a clip of the inside of his room on TikTok, Ben used the audio from the famous Jet 2 advert, narrated by Hollyoaks' Zoe Lister, and featuring Jess Glynne's iconic hit Hold My Hand. It has become a popular trend in recent weeks to use the audio alongside a holiday 'fail'. In the video, Ben can be seen strutting across his hotel room, before opening up his thick floor length curtains. Where you would expect to see a large window, showing panoramic views, there was a teeny tiny square one, reminiscent of a ship's porthole. "Appreciating those views", he joked. The view has left people in hysterics, racking up an astronomical 239 million views on the video sharing platform. In a second video, Ben showed viewers what he could see through the window, placing his camera right up to the glass to show the Irish countryside opposite his hotel. People are only just realising who does the voice over for viral Jet2 advert From a distance, it looks like the window is a small painting on the wall. "She's giving Van Gogh", Ben Joked. TikTok users flooded the comments section of the video, to share their disbelief at the view. One person said: "Are you in jail?" Holiday packing tips Jemma Solomon, aka The Label Lady has got 5 packing tips to help you get organised for your next holiday. 1. Write a list Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase. Or for complete ease, try Google's AI app - Gemini - which will create a list for you and help you not over pack. 2. Involve your kids Jemma said: 'My girls are getting older, they're 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say 'this is what you need' and they follow the list. 'And then I give them a rucksack each - and say to them 'you can have whatever you want in there as long as it's not liquid', and they can take that on the plane. And that's their 'home away from home' items.' 3. Try a hack or two She said: "I think they all work, but for different reasons - and you've just got to pick the right one for your trip. "Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you're trying to get a lot of items into your case, it's a space saver. 'Packing cubes are great - for example, I'm going on holiday with my three kids and we're all using the same suitcase for our clothes. "These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked. "I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we've arrived." 4. Decant beauty products Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets - which are much lighter and smaller. Or, if you'll be popping to the shops when you're abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive. 5. Get organised before you come home Jemma said: 'When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes. 'Also pack it in some form of order - so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person. "Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don't leave it." Another said: "They have a nerve to put a curtain over that." A third person exclaimed: "I was not expecting this one bit." A fourth added: "I dunno what I was expecting but it deffo wasn't that window."
