Naked, masked man caught on camera walking street at night
Police are investigating after a video emerged of a naked man walking a street at night, wearing only a mask and trainers. The footage has been widely shared on social media. It is thought to have been filmed in the seaside Lancashire town of Lytham. The video shows the man wearing only the black mask and a pair of black‑and‑white trainers as he walks along a row of houses. Lancashire Police said the incident took place around 12.50am on 18 July. It happened in the area of Westby Street, Cleveland Road and Bannister Street. 'We are aware of a concerning video circulating on social media of a naked male wearing a face covering walking around Lytham in the early hours of the morning,' a police spokesman said. 'This incident was not initially reported to police and has only been brought to our attention after it has been viewed on Facebook. 'Fylde Rural Task Force are currently conducting CCTV and house‑to‑house inquiries and would like to reassure you that we are taking this matter seriously.' New Cross: Man arrested on suspicion of murder after fatal stabbing in southeast London
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 26-year-old was stabbed to death in southeast London. Met Police officers were called to reports of a man with stab wounds at an address on Monson Road, New Cross, at 7.30pm on Saturday. The force attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service and medics from the London Air Ambulance who provided emergency care. Officers said the 26-year-old man died at the scene, and specialist officers are supporting his family. Scotland Yard said another 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder a short time later. He remains in custody as of Sunday afternoon. Detective Chief Inspector Lucie Card, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim at this difficult time. "I understand this incident will be concerning and we are carrying out a fast-paced and thorough investigation to establish the circumstances.

Gloucestershire Police chief pledges to tackle racism in force
Gloucestershire Police's temporary Chief Constable has acknowledged that racism still exists within the force. T/CC Maggie Blyth met the public at a community engagement forum in Gloucester on Thursday, and answered questions the force's concerns raised about racism, a lack of professionalism and worries over hate crimes, there was some praise for neighbourhood acting head of the force said she recognised the importance of responding to feedback in order to maintain public trust in the force to "protect and keep people safe". The forum, which was jointly hosted by the independent Community Legitimacy Panel (CLP) and Gloucestershire Police, was attended by dozens of people from across the county, and held at the Church of God of Prophecy on Melbourne Street of the questions posed was whether racism existed within the force - T/CC Blyth accepted that it did, based on conversations with colleagues, the National Black Police Association and members of the added while the force still has a long way to go, tackling racism remained "an absolute priority". Members of the public also claimed armed officers sometimes showed a "lack of respect" when responding to response, T/CC Blyth said she would work hard to ensure all force employees carried out their work with respect, empathy and of the people who attended the meeting praised the work of the Neighbourhood Policing Team for their efforts in building and maintaining "strong relationships with all communities". "If we don't, we will inevitably have a negative impact on levels of public trust and confidence in our service; in our ability to protect and keep people safe; to investigate any crimes people have had the misfortune of being victims of; and to act with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity."She was appointed to the role following the suspension of former Chief Constable Rod Hansen after allegations of gross misconduct.
