Actor Prem Nazir's son Shanawas passes away
Prem Nazir
, passed away late on Monday night at a private hospital in the state capital. He was 71 years old. He had acted in more than 50 films and several television serials.
He made his debut in Malayalam film industry through the film Premageethangal that was directed by Balachandra Menon in 1981.
After a long gap, he made his comeback through the Malayalam movie China Town in 2011.
Chitram, Lal Americayil, Jeevitham Oru Ragam, Neelagiri, Kaumara Swapnangal, Kumbasaram are some of the films where he played crucial roles.
He is survived by his wife Ayisha Beevi and two children, Shameer Khan and Ajith Khan. He has three sisters.

The call, which lasted 45 minutes, ended with Sandra asking Mammootty a question: 'If your daughter faced such injustice, would you tell her to stay silent for the sake of her career?' According to Sandra, Mammootty offered no clear answer, only saying, 'It's up to Sandra now. I have nothing more to say.' 'I will stay right here': Sandra refuses to be silenced Sandra claims Mammootty later withdrew from a film project they were set to do together. She didn't back down. 'If everyone is trying to oust me from here, then I will make sure I stay right here,' she said, asserting her determination to fight the discrimination she's faced in the industry.
