This cooling neck fan may look silly, but it's a 'godsend' during summer heatwaves — it's on sale right now
This nifty little gadget has more than 56,000 reviews. Several Canadian cities have endured sweltering heatwaves this summer — Toronto is under its fifth heat warning of the year — and while the sky-high temperatures are great for beach days, they're far less enjoyable for day-to-day life. Excess heat can lead to dangerous heat stroke or heat exhaustion, so if you're spending time outside, it's important to stay hydrated and cool. While staying in air-conditioned environments is your first line of defence, cooling gadgets like a portable neck fan can also come in handy. A popular option — the JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan — delivers air to the face and neck for 360-degree cooling and can be worn like a necklace for hands-free use. It's the perfect travel companion for summer trips (or for hot flashes), according to shoppers. Right now, Amazon Prime members can save 36 per cent on the viral neck fan and take it home for just $45. Not yet a member? The details This top-rated portable fan is winning over Amazon shoppers with its lightweight and versatile design, which conveniently sits around your neck for hands-free relief from the heat. Since this bladeless design is both light and totally portable, it's an excellent choice for vacations, outdoor sports, yard work or just everyday use in hot weather. This fan is equipped with a powerful and rechargeable battery, offering up to 16 hours of use. It features 78 ventilation holes that deliver air to the face and neck for 360-degree cooling, with a dust- and sweat-proof design. It's available in five colours and has three speeds. Tried & tested by Yahoo Canada I was skeptical about the JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan, initially thinking it was silly-looking. However, when I arrived at the airport in Orlando, I had to quickly eat my words — just about as soon as we landed, I was whipping the fan out of my bag and onto my neck. I was impressed by the fan's ability to blow air when in use, helping to provide some relief from the heat and humidity. The third and highest settings proved to be the most useful for me, earning this fan a spot on my list of everyday essentials when hitting the theme parks. As temperatures soared past 35°C daily (not factoring in humidity), I found myself reaching for the neck fan on several occasions. However, since I was using it at the highest setting, I did notice that the battery life didn't hold up as long as I'd hoped. If you do plan to use this fan for yourself, I recommend learning from my mistakes and keeping a power bank and charging cable on hand to avoid the battery draining halfway through the day. What others are saying ⭐️ 4.3/5 stars 💬 56,000+ reviews 🏆 "This has been a godsend for me!" This hands-free fan has earned a 4.3-star rating from more than 56,000 customer reviews combined, with shoppers praising its power and comfort. Whether you're travelling, spending time outdoors, or just needing a quick way to cool down, the JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan is a must-have for warm weather. According to reviewers, this fan is "silent enough [and] lightweight" and "moves a good amount of air." Shoppers who sweat a lot have even called this gadget "a godsend" for use during work. One reviewer raved that "this neck fan has been awesome" during menopause, while another called it "the best thing since sliced bread." Many reviewers have noted that this fan's airflow at the back of the neck is not as strong as they'd hoped, but since it comes with a "lightweight" and "inconspicuous" design, shoppers say that it's worth the tradeoff. The verdict Even at its current Prime member sale price of $45, this portable fan may not be the most affordable version on the market, but its hands-free design and effective cooling make it a top pick ahead of hot spring and summer days. With a quiet motor and bladeless design, shoppers say it cools you down and is helpful in various situations. After using it myself, I'm glad I have the JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan to stay cool on hot days. However, I'll always be sure to have a charger on hand for backup. More cooling products to shop

This 10,000mAh Portable Power Bank at Near-Free Price Will Make You Think You Need One More
A low battery warning always seems to pop up at the worst moment, whether you are halfway to the airport, lining up a rideshare, or trying to grab one more photo at a birthday party. The INIU Portable Charger, Lightest 10000mAh is an easy fix you can slip in a pocket. It is small, light, and ready to lift a phone out of the red without turning your bag into a tangle of bricks and cables. Head over to Amazon to get the INIU Portable Charger, Lightest 10000mAh for just $19, down from its usual price of $30. That's a discount of $11 and 38% off. See at Amazon The appeal starts with the size. This bank is closer to a deck of cards than a chunky power brick, so it disappears in a jeans pocket or a tiny purse. Ten thousand milliamp hours is a sweet spot for daily life. Most modern phones go from near empty to comfortable levels more than once, and a quick coffee stop can add a big chunk of power before your latte hits the counter. The shell feels sturdy without being heavy, and the rounded edges keep it from snagging fabric as you pull it out on the go. Connections are simple. A USB C port handles fast in and out, which means the same cable that charges your phone can refill the bank later. A standard USB A port stands by for a second device, handy when a friend's battery dips or a set of earbuds needs a top up. Indicator lights on the side show remaining charge with a tap, so you know whether to recharge before heading out for the evening. Little touches make it practical beyond the numbers. A built in flashlight is there for late night key hunts or checking a fuse box during a brief outage. The finish resists fingerprints, and the flat sides let the bank rest neatly next to a laptop on a tiny café table. Safety protections run quietly in the background, watching temperature and current so your gadgets charge smoothly rather than in sudden bursts. Travelers, students, and parents will all find uses. Keep one in the glove box for road trips, another in a backpack for campus days, or toss it in a gym bag so music does not cut out during the last mile. Because it is so light, you forget it is there until you need it, which is exactly the point. The INIU Portable Charger, Lightest 10000mAh is still available for $19 at Amazon, a welcome drop from the regular $30 price. See at Amazon

JetBlue posts smaller-than-expected loss as U.S. demand recovers
(Reuters) -JetBlue Airways on Tuesday posted an adjusted loss for the second quarter that was smaller than Wall Street expectations, helped by cost cutting measures and recovering demand for travel in the U.S. Over the past month, larger peers Delta and United have signaled that bookings are starting to stabilize, though at lower-than-expected levels, pointing to an uneven recovery. In April, JetBlue joined several major airlines in pulling its 2025 financial forecast, citing uncertainty tied to the Trump administration's sweeping tariff policies and federal spending cuts that weighed on consumer travel. "Demand for air travel improved as the quarter progressed, resulting in significant strength for bookings within 14-days of travel, as well as for peak travel periods," said Marty St. George, JetBlue's president, adding that the momentum continued into July. However, the carrier said it expects third-quarter revenue per available seat mile (RASM), an industry metric commonly known as unit revenue and a proxy for pricing power, to decline between 2% and 6%. It also renistated its 2025 unit cost forecast and expects it to rise between 5% and 7%. The carrier reported an adjusted loss of 16 cents per share for the quarter ended June 30, compared to analysts' estimate of a loss of 33 cents apiece. Operating revenue was $2.18 billion. Analysts, on average, were expecting $2.28 billion, as per data compiled by LSEG. Sign in to access your portfolio
