Motorola Razr+ 2025 in for review

GSM Arena10-06-2025

We did the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra review, and the Razr 2025 review is underway. Now it's time to welcome the third and final member of the series - the Razr+ 2025, which is exclusive to North America and doesn't have a global version unlike its siblings. Motorola Razr+ 2025
This one sits in the middle of the pack, below the Ultra, above the vanilla. Indeed, it packs some superior specs to the regular Razr 2025 in most categories. The SoC is a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with more RAM (12GB vs 8GB). It lacks an ultrawide but offers a 50MP 2x zoom instead.
Both displays are better - the inner one has 165Hz refresh rate, while the cover screen is larger at 4 inches vs 3.6 inches.
Where the Razr+ 2025 is below its counterparts is in the battery capacity - it's 4,000mAh vs the 4,500mAh on the vanilla and 4,700mAh on the Ultra.
Our Razr+ 2025 features the Mocha Mousse paint job. There're also Hot Pink, Peach Fuzz, Spring Green, and Midnight Blue versions. There's a single 12/256GB config to choose from, and it ships with a USB-C cable. The Razr+ 2025 is $799 at the time of this article - down from $999.
We've said it time and time again, but Motorola is truly in a league of its own when it comes to phone colors. The Razr+ 2025 looks unique. It feels great too, with a very grippy leather-like finish on the back panel.
The hinge is perfectly weighed - not too firm, but it's not soft and vague. Top marks on hardware!

There's also something to be said of Motorola's take on Android. Some of us would go as far as calling it the best Android skin there is, thanks to pixel-perfect scaling throughout the OS, and lovely visuals.
On the other hand we need to mention a gripe we have with the Razr+ 2025. Its display came in a Neutral color profile by default, and it's lifeless - very desaturated and dull. Not a big issue, though - you can put the screen in a Vivid mode to rectify this.
Interestingly, the Razr 2025 came in Vivid by default.
Our review is underway so stay tuned!

Best Buy is now selling Samsung's breathtaking Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra at $500 off with no strings

It's only June 30, but Best Buy has already kicked off a massive 4th of July Sale, offering hard-to-beat discounts on many of the best tablets out there with absolutely no special requirements or strings attached. $500 off (42%) Wi-Fi Only, 256GB Storage, 12GB RAM, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Processor, 14.6-Inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with 2960 x 1848 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, IP68 Water and Dust Resistance, AKG Tuned Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos Support, 13 + 8MP Dual Rear-Facing Camera System, 12 +12MP Dual Front-Facing Cameras, 11,200mAh Battery with 45W Charging Capabilities, Graphite Color, S Pen Included, No Special Requirements Buy at BestBuy That brings the 14.6-inch Android powerhouse down from a list price of $1,199.99 to $699.99, which is what a smaller mid-ranger like the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ normally costs. Granted, the Tab S9 Ultra is not Samsung's latest jumbo-sized flagship, but its super-premium design and top-of-the-line specifications are really close to those of the younger and much pricier Tab S10 Ultra. As such, you'd be foolish not to at least consider taking advantage of this phenomenal new Best Buy deal, especially after Samsung seemingly discontinued the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra , which is likely to lead to the tablet's retirement from all major third-party US retailers in the not-too-distant future. That means you may not have a lot of time left to get this bad boy... at any price, let alone just seven Benjamins. Apart from its sheer size, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will also take your breath away with the quality of that Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate technology, as well as the outstanding battery life, razor-thin profile, super-robust construction, and last but not least, built-in S Pen. Unless you're a hardcore Apple fan who absolutely needs to own the latest and greatest iPad Pro around, it's incredibly difficult to find a better offer on a better tablet today. Of course, next week is Amazon Prime Day... week, but I still think this is the moment to pull the trigger and Best Buy the place to do it. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! iPhone 17 Pro redesign rumors heat up – could Apple move its logo for the first time in years?

There's a rumored redesign planned for the iPhone 17 Pro models. Nothing is confirmed at this point, but there have been multiple reports (mainly by one or two leakers, though) that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max may get a bigger camera island that spans across the top part of the phone. Now, Majin Bu, who's been one of the main voices in the leaks about the new design (and who has a mixed track record when it comes to leaks) claims the new design may force Apple to move its logo. Bu is sharing a new image and claiming the Apple logo may be lower because of this new design. The logo supposedly would be at the center bottom part of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, below the camera bar. Majin Bu claims that this information comes from a company that "specializes in cases for the iPhone 17 Pro line". Apparently, this company has confirmed they are already working on cases for the new design. Image Credit - Majin Bu Apple moving the logo is not entirely impossible, although it seems a bit unnecessary – there aren't practical requirements for that. However, Apple did move its logo with the iPhone 11 in 2019. If you remember, before that phone, Apple's logo sat higher on the back of iPhones (but the word "iPhone" was also written lower on the phone's back), and now, the Apple logo is taking a central position. If the expected camera island redesign is indeed true, this would be the first major change to the cameras since the iPhone 11. Reportedly, the three cameras will remain on the left side but the flash and LiDAR would move to the right. Earlier, Bu also claimed the iPhone 17 Pro would get a vapor chamber cool system, but now seems less confident about this particular rumor. Apparently, there have been some "challenges" to address and they may eventually not come. But, it's important to note that Apple is quite good with keeping things under wraps, and I won't be surprised if this new redesign isn't a thing. I won't be surprised if it is either, as times seem a bit dramatic for Apple, and maybe something eye-catching is needed. Well, we'll have to wait and see to know for certain. The iPhone 17 series will have to face the Galaxy S25 series for the title of the best flagship phone this year. The Galaxies have kept the same (more or less) design in recent years with some subtle refinements, so at least when it comes to design, it may be Apple surprising us this time. The hot new Motorola Edge (2025) is getting more and more attractive at lower and lower prices

The only member of the popular Motorola Edge family released in the US this year is amazingly getting its second discount already in the space of just a couple of weeks. Best Buy is once again the nation's most generous retailer with bargain hunters who don't feel they need to purchase the latest Android flagships to be satisfied with their overall user experience. No, the Motorola Edge (2025) is nowhere near as powerful as the likes of Samsung's Galaxy S25, Google's Pixel 9, the OnePlus 13, or even the OnePlus 13R, packing a middling but not completely disappointing MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor in combination with a decent but far from mind-blowing 8GB RAM count. $100 off (18%) 5G, Unlocked, 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, 6.7-Inch P-OLED Display with 2712 x 1220 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Processor, Android 15, 50 + 10 + 50MP Triple Rear-Facing Camera System, 50MP Front-Facing Camera, 5,200mAh Battery, 68W Wired and 15W Wireless Charging Support, IP68 and IP69 Water and Dust Resistance, Military-Grade Durability, Vegan Leather Finish, Pantone Deep Forest Color Buy at BestBuy Originally priced at $549.99 and recently marked down to $499.99, Motorola's undeniably eye-catching new 6.7-inch mid-ranger can now be had for as little as $449.99. The catch? There doesn't seem to be one. That's right, your new phone will come unlocked and free of any and all carrier restrictions, requiring no device trade-in, number port-in, or upfront activation on a specific network. While our comprehensive Motorola Edge (2025) review didn't exactly lavish this thing with praise for its system performance, screen quality, and camera functionality, it's hard not to look at that sleek vegan leather finish, thin 8mm profile, and stunningly robust construction with anything other than the deepest admiration... at the handset's newly reduced price. I simply cannot think of another Android phone available in the US today in the sub-$500 segment with IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H certifications for protection against water immersion, dust contact, high-pressure water jets, and even the occasional drop on a hard surface. Oh, and did I mention that the impressively affordable Motorola Edge (2025) also packs a remarkably large 5,200mAh battery equipped with astoundingly fast 68W charging technology? Those numbers are higher than what the Galaxy S25 Ultra has going for it, mind you, and I probably don't need to tell you how much costlier Samsung's latest S Pen-wielding super-flagship is.
