Heartbroken Hollyoaks star Steph Waring reveals co-stars ‘stopped speaking to her' after she was axed with no warning
The actress - who played Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap - was let go last year, leaving her devastated.

The much-loved star, 47, was on Hollyoaks for 28 years and was even on the soap from day one.
That's why fans were left shocked when she revealed that she had been given the chop by bosses.
However, in a further blow, Steph has now admitted that she misses the friendships she once had with her fellow cast members.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Secure The Insecure podcast, she said: "I did feel the quiet from the family that I once knew on the show.
"No one's picking up the phone. No one's checking in.
"Everyone's just getting on with their life.
"When you're in that Hollyoaks bubble and they call it a family - I feel you're only family when you're in it."
Steph - who didn't name any of co-stars in particular - added: "You pour your heart out to these people and then you go and it's like it never happened.
"Where did that friendship go? There's only a couple of people I'm in contact with."
Last month, Steph opened up about her heartbreaking reaction on the day bosses told her she would no longer be on Hollyoaks.

Writing in her book Breaking the Script, the actress said: 'I walked into the office.
"There were two people there for the meeting: the newly appointed executive producer – a stalwart behind the scenes in various roles for years – and the long-standing head of production, who I'd known since I began on the show back in 1996.
'They asked me to sit. They explained that they'd be reading a scripted statement. As I listened, I could barely process what was being said. I was just waiting for the words I longed to hear: 'And therefore, we'd like Cindy to stay.'
'But as the statement neared its close, before the final words were even spoken, I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I was shaking as I looked at the two of them.

'Then it happened. 'And with that said, we will be losing Cindy from the show. I'm so sorry, Steph.' The world stopped for a second as I replayed those words in my head. Then… I lost my s***.
''What? No! You mean you're not taking me to the 30th?' I blurted out, referencing the upcoming anniversary of the show – a milestone that meant so much to the long-standing cast.
''I don't understand. No, I don't understand. I don't understand!' I was frantic. 'But I've been so loyal. Please, no. This is my life. I love my job – please, no!'
'Hysterically crying, I repeated myself, hoping one of them would see my distress and take it all back. Had they made a mistake? My world felt like it was imploding. Through my tears, I demanded to know, 'How am I on that list? Cindy is an original! I'm the longest-serving female character. I was the first person to give birth on the show.'
'I was clutching at anything, anything at all, to make them realise their mistake. How? Why was I the only original being cut? I couldn't understand. It felt so cold. I could see the distress I was causing them.'
She fled the room and was found by her co-stars Jennifer Metcalfe and Kirsty Leigh Porter who supported her before she could go home to husband Tom.
Stephanie also revealed how her agent had become determined to get soap bosses to reverse their decision - but in the end the actress herself decided she didn't want to stay.

The sprawling property initially hit the market for £3.5 million in September but sparked little interest from buyers, resulting in the asking price dropping by almost £1 million to £2.65million in January this year. However, following a fierce dispute with neighbours over his plans to convert a security hut, Andre has now reduced the price of the property even further. The lavish home is now on the market for £2.4million, with the new price advertised on property sites including Zoopla as well as estate agents Strutt & Parker who are managing the property. Knoll Hill House comes with a sprawling 20 acres of land, boasts impressive views of the Romney Marsh in Kent and has previously been described as 'the kind of house you'd find in one of those Enid Blyton books' by O'Grady's former partner Brendan Murphy, who died in 2005. Once owned by fellow comedian Vic Reeves, the property mixes traditional elegant characteristics like French doors with quirkier qualities such as bookcase wallpaper and a Gypsy caravan in the garden. Estate agent Strutt and Parker said: 'Knoll Hill House sits in a breathtaking position at the top of the escarpment above the Romney Marsh which affords the most sensational far-reaching views, looking across the marsh to the coast and the sea in the distance. 'Built in 1910 the house has much charm, providing a comfortable and spacious space in which to live and entertain against this stunning backdrop.' Ballet dancer Andre had previously angered neighbours in the quaint village of Adlington by trying to turn a security hut on the site into a separate two-bedroom house and make it three times bigger. After losing his initial bid, he later won another battle to turn it into a holiday let instead. However, locals were further angered by him cutting the price in January, accusing him of 'cashing in' by flogging the seven-bedroom Kent farmhouse for the then reduced price of £2.65 million. Neighbours and locals said the former Lily Savage star was popular, but since his death they have been upset at goings-on connected to the property. One told MailOnline: 'We've not seen Andre much at all. It just feels like he's trying to cash in on the property after Paul died with all these various plans. The 50-acre estate mixes traditional features like French doors with quirkier aspects such as bookcase wallpaper and a Gypsy caravan in the garden. The mansion, which boasts a 'Witches House' in the garden, is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and comes with four acres of woodland. The kitchen is arranged around an island and benefits from an Aga with French doors which open to the terrace and the gardens beyond. On the first floor are five bedrooms, four of which face the Romney Marsh, while the main bedroom has a dressing room with French doors opening to a balcony and an en suite bathroom. Two of the other bedrooms also enjoy access to a balcony. As well as Knoll Hill House itself, the estate boasts a swimming pool and several outbuildings, including two self-contained cottages, a barn and stables. The cottage, which is now a dance studio, gym and steam room with a kitchen, bedroom and living space upstairs, is the largest of the outbuildings. A timber-clad cottage, nicknamed 'the Woodland Hut', provides additional room and has been described as a 'charming and whimsical building', with a wood burner, exposed brick walls and a galleried bedroom. As many as 14 sheep, three dogs, two pigs, hundreds of rescue chickens, ducks, alpacas, goats and barn owls all call Knoll Hill home thanks to O'Grady, a keen animal lover.

Joy Reid and Piers Morgan have launched preemptive strikes ahead of the release of a seemingly combative interview set to air on YouTube. The former ReidOut star took to her YouTube show first to express regret and frustration, in an apparent attempt to get ahead of what has been labelled 'disastrous'. She prefaced how the sit-down was her public relations team's idea, before sharing screengrabs from Morgan's own PR people indicating the interview was set to touch on topics such as Donald Trump, deportations, and her firing from MSNBC. 'Now, why did I go along with such an idea?' Reid, 56, asked during the late night live stream. 'Well, sometimes you do want to actually talk to people on the right, and see if they've got anything interesting to say.' Conceding conservatives like Tucker Carlson have been 'making a weird amount of sense' lately, Reid claimed she was 'ambushed' with an interview about race. Within hours, Morgan, 60, was offering his own insight on the yet-to-be-seen back-and-forth, cryptically telling onlookers on X, 'It did not go well… for Joy Reid.' Referencing how Reid had ' already gone public about how terrible it was and [he] was, Morgan said: 'Drops later on @PiersUncensored.' Reid and Morgan both appeared to engage in damage control ahead of the release of the interview, which Morgan said went 'badly' for Reid and will likely air Thursday 'Apparently, I'm obsessed with race & identity politics,' he added. 'I figured, okay, wouldn't be my first choice, but why not?' she said separately. 'And here on the screen, I want to put up the email that Piers' team sent to my PR agency to get me to come on the show.' A subsequent screenshot showed Morgan's team telling Reid's representation about the conversation that had then yet to occur, on Tuesday at 10:19am. A rep wrote how Reid should expect 'a free flowing conversation covering several topics in [her] wheelhouse, including the Trump administration, Elon Musk establishing a new political party, ICE raids, and news of the day.' The representative also asked to discuss Reid 'leaving MSNBC' and 'her new online venture.' 'Okay, sounds compelling. But it turns out that is not what the interview was about,' Reid raged. 'Instead, Piers used a 45-minute interview to ambush me mainly about his favorite subject, race - specifically why black people like me talk so much about race, especially when it comes to Donald Trump.' She revealed: 'Specifically, Piers demanded to know why I don't call the black president a fascist for deporting more brown people than Trump has.' Reid added how Morgan also quizzed her about a recent interview appearance where she discussed ' being black at MSNBC' with CUNY professor Mark Lamont Hill. Reid, during that sit-down, claimed 'white fragility shaped newsroom decisions' and that she received backlash from bosses for simply liking posts about Palestinian children. She also claimed MSNBC staff herself were 'blindsided' by February's firings from then-new boss Rebecca Kutler, even though a high-level MSNBC source told Daily Mail in March that Reid was likely well aware she was on the chopping block due to backlash over her Palestine comments and a paltry one-year contract extension. Reid also claimed 'black and brown journalists' at the network were 'purged.' At 10:31am Thursday, Morgan posted a series of heated snippets of the interview as a sort of preview of what's to come. 'Do you think school children at school should have access to books in their library which involves traps on dildos?' Morgan asks at a point, leaving Reid momentarily speechless.
