Broncos donate more than 15,000 football helmets to Colorado high schools
The initiative, titled 'ALL IN. ALL COVERED,' is the largest philanthropic donation in franchise history, consisting of 15,516 Riddell Axiom smart helmets at no cost to every high school football program in the state.
'The Denver Broncos Foundation is proud to launch ALL IN. ALL COVERED, a game-changing program designed to have a lasting impact on Colorado youth for years to come,' Broncos co-owner Carrie Walton Penner in a statement.
According to the team's press release, schools will receive 25% of the donated helmets each year of the program (2025-2028) based on the average roster size of their team's classification, from six-man football all the way up to 5A.
'The Riddell Axiom helmet smart was carefully selected as the helmet of choice for this program due to its safety and performance features,' read the statement. 'The Axiom features Riddell's TRU-FIT™ SYSTEM, which uses 3D imaging of each athlete's head for a personalized fit and protection system to improve impact response. It also comes standard with InSite Smart Helmet Technology for impact sensing and reporting.'
The start of the helmet rollout will begin in May, and continue all the way to the beginning of the 2025 high school football season.

A look at how Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham fit in the Denver Broncos' QB room for 2025
The ex-Tigers will battle it out for the role of QB1 again in Denver this training camp. The Denver Broncos are known for their orange and blue colors. Also, their quarterback room has some history with the colors as well. Both starter Bo Nix and backup Jarrett Stidham played at Auburn. That is not breaking news. Nix had a surprising and stellar rookie season for the Broncos in 2024 and helped lead the team to the postseason. Last season, Nix threw for 3,775 yards and 29 touchdowns as a rookie. The Broncos closed out the season with a 5-2 record before losing in the AFC Wildcard 31-7 to the Buffalo Bills. Nix played his first three seasons with the Tigers before transferring to Oregon for his final two seasons. While operating a proper offense at Oregon, he showed the NFL his capabilities as a quarterback. He had moments at Auburn but was more consistent in Eugene. Stidham returns to the Broncos for his third season as the backup to Nix. He has played for three different NFL franchises, including the Broncos. Stidham started his career with the New England Patriots before playing for the Raiders. Stidham was tasked with being the guy to replace Tom Brady in New England. The team would sign another former Auburn quarterback, Cam Newton. Stidham would spend his time with the Patriots as a backup. He would be traded to Las Vegas for the 2022 season. Stidham started the final two games of the 2022 season. He had a big game in his first start versus the San Francisco 49ers. In a 37-34 overtime loss, Stidham threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns. He would then become a member of the Broncos starting with the 2023 season. That first season, he was the backup to Russell Wilson but started the final two games after he was benched. While he may have aspired to be a full-time starting quarterback in the NFL, Stidham has built a solid career as a backup quarterback. A reliable one too. Broncos training camp Day 2: Schedule, tickets, parking
The work continues. The Denver Broncos continue their 2025 training camp schedule today with Day 2 of practice scheduled for 10:00 a.m. MT at Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit. Gates to the facility will open at 8 a.m. MT. Due to ongoing construction at the team's facility, capacity is limited to about 800 fans at each practice. To attend, fans are required to download free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis on Ticketmaster. The tickets for each practice were quickly claimed when they first became available, but it's worth monitoring Ticketmaster to check if tickets are returned ahead of practices. Broncos 2025 Training Camp Schedule Parking will be available at Dove Valley Regional Park (7900 S Potomac St Rd, Centennial, CO 80112) on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8 a.m. on the morning of practice. There are fewer than 300 parking spots available, so fans are encouraged to use ride-sharing options to arrive at practice. Fans with tickets will sit at the south end of the practice fields on temporary bleachers. Fans who attend practice are encouraged to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated. Lawn chairs and umbrellas are not allowed at practice. Select players are expected to be available to sign autographs for kids aged 5-15 in a kids' zone after each practice session. Fans should note that Denver's practice schedule is subject to change due to weather. Be sure to check the team's X page for the latest updates on the practice schedule. Broncos roster: DL Matt Henningsen (No. 91) fighting for rotational role
Broncos Wire's 90-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at fourth-year defensive lineman Matt Henningsen, No. 91. Before the Broncos: Henningsen (6-3, 291 pounds) played college football at Wisconsin, earning third-team All-Big Ten honors as a senior in 2021. Following a redshirt freshman season, Henningsen spent five years with the Badgers, totaling 91 tackles (13 behind the line of scrimmage), eight sacks and three fumble recoveries (two returned for touchdowns). He played in 42 games with 29 starts during his time at Wisconsin. Broncos tenure: Henningsen's defensive presence impressed Denver Broncos coaches in the pre-draft process, which led to him being drafted in the sixth round (206th overall) of the 2022 NFL draft. In his rookie season, Henningsen played in 17 games, as primarily a rotational player, recording 1.0 sack and 21 combined tackles (eight solo, 13 assisted, two tackles for loss). In 2023, Henningsen once again played in all 17 regular season games, with two pass deflections and 19 total tackles (10 solo, nine assisted). In 2024, Henningsen was a practice squad player in Denver, not appearing in any games as an active player. Chances to make the 53-man roster: Practice squad or rotational backup player. Henningsen has been in the Broncos system for several years now, and will either be a rotational backup player in relief of John Franklin-Myers and Zach Allen.
