Time for a travel Vlog! Is 'vlog' still a word? Either way, we're going with it!
Let's walk through the journey.

The premise
If there's one thing the BSV economy needs more than anything else, it's not more Twitterati or hobbyists. It's more entrepreneurs and more investors: more builders who see Bitcoin not as a speculative asset to HODL until the next cycle, but as a protocol that can actually power real businesses every second of every day forever!
Last month, I packed my bags and flew to Boulder, Colorado. Because if you're serious about attracting smart money and serious operators, sometimes you've got to get out of your echo chamber. And Boulder has quietly become one of the best places in America to do just that.
It's not just the clean mountain air or the local startup coffee shops (though I'll admit, both are pretty great). It's that Boulder, unlike so many cities still clinging to the ghost of the last tech bubble, has evolved into a true ecosystem of practical, product-focused builders. Entrepreneurs there don't waste time pontificating about the 'future of money.' They're busy solving customer problems, raising capital, and shipping real things.
The guru
And no one embodies that ethos better than Brad Feld.
Feld's not just another VC in a Patagonia vest chasing the next hype curve. He's been investing in technology companies for more than 30 years, through multiple crashes, and all the way to today. He co-founded Techstars in Boulder, helped scale the Foundry Group into one of the most respected venture firms in the country, and has backed hundreds of startups. But more than that, he's built a philosophy around what makes startup communities thrive. It's simple, deceptively so: give first. I saw Feld speak at the launch of his new book, Give First , where he shared stories from decades of building companies and ecosystems. The idea is that the best founders, investors, and local economies succeed when people lead with generosity, not extracting value at every turn, but looking for ways to support others, with no immediate expectation of financial payback.
If that sounds quaint, spend five minutes in most blockchain circles today. Memes, speculation, and zero-sum thinking still dominate everything. 'Buy this coin so it pumps. Stake it. Dump it. Move on.' Meanwhile, almost no one is focused on what it means to actually build long-term value and create products that serve customers, generate revenue, and justify their existence beyond a white paper and a trading pair.
The opportunity
BSV, more than any other blockchain I've ever touched, desperately needs a boost of energy. We have the protocol. We have the scalability. What we don't have (at least not yet at the scale we should) are investors and entrepreneurs laser-focused on using Bitcoin to solve complex commercial problems. People who care more about margins and business models than about Twitter likes and pumpy charts.
That's why Boulder was refreshing. I had conversations with founders and small business owners who didn't care much about coin price, but cared about cash flow, paying customers, and how technology could help them do more. It was a reminder that this is who we should be talking to if we want BSV to grow into what it was always meant to be: a robust, unbounded network for global commerce, not just a speculative playground.
And yeah, it was a pretty great time. We shot a highlight video so you can see it yourself: Brad, Boulder, startup chatter, even a little local color from taco joints that accept BSV. If you want to understand the kind of entrepreneurial spirit we should be courting, watch the video. If you're building on Bitcoin, or thinking about it, I hope it convinces you to think bigger. Think like a founder. Think like Brad Feld. And maybe, just maybe, give first.

Bitcoin soars to new all-time high as US lawmakers focus on pro-crypto legislation

Bitcoin continued its rapid climb and hit another all-time high Monday as U.S. lawmakers begin a week focused on passing pro-crypto legislation. Data from CoinMarketCap showed bitcoin climbed above $123,000 early Monday, up from about $108,000 only a week ago. The world's oldest and most popular cryptocurrency is currently the fifth most valuable asset class in the world at $2.4 trillion, giving it a higher market cap than Amazon. The enthusiasm for bitcoin comes as the U.S. House is set to take up several pieces of cryptocurrency-related legislation in what's been dubbed 'crypto week' in Congress. Lawmakers have been under pressure from President Donald Trump and the big-spending crypto lobby to pass legislation quickly. That includes a bill passed last month by the Senate that would regulate a type of cryptocurrency known as stablecoins. The House is also set to take up a cryptocurrency market structure legislation that is far more sweeping. Trump, once a skeptic of the industry, has vowed in his second term to make the U.S. the global capital of crypto. Meanwhile, he and his family have moved aggressively into nearly every corner of the industry: mining operations, billion-dollar bitcoin purchases, a newly minted stablecoin and a Trump-branded meme coin. The crypto industry has rapidly become a major player in Washington after feeling unfairly targeted by the Biden administration. The industry spent huge amounts on last year's elections and has been spending heavily on lobbying and other influence efforts this year. Bitcoin has seen a significant rebound since April, when it briefly dipped below $75,000. Spot bitcoin ETFs are becoming increasingly popular since launching last year and several publicly traded companies have made using debt and stock sales to buy bitcoin their primary business strategy. Created in response to the 2008 financial crisis, bitcoin has taken a highly volatile path to mainstream acceptance. Its backers say the asset is like a 'digital gold' that can act as a hedge against central bank and government malfeasance. Only 21 million bitcoins will ever be created. 'Bitcoin's price is finally catching up to what's been building under the surface,' said Adam Back, CEO of the crypto company Blockstream. 'This is institutional demand aligning with bitcoin's fundamentals, and a fixed supply doing what it was designed to do.'

The return of the Trailblazer The 2025 Trailblazer is a reimagined model that borrows its name from the larger Trailblazer SUV from the late 1990s and early 2000s. This time around, it's a subcompact lifestyle SUV as opposed to its larger family hauler predecessor. The Chevy Trailblazer goes high on stylish design, comfort, and affordability. Slotting in between the Trax and the Blazer, the Trailblazer offers a good balance of practicality and tech-forward features, making it a solid choice. It also earned a five-star rating from the federal government's crash testing. 0:05 / 0:09 VW will introduce a sub-$20,000 EV, but probably not here Watch More Its main competitors in the subcompact crossover space are the Hyundai Kona, Kia Seltos, Subaru Crosstrek, and Chevrolet's own Trax. Thankfully, the Trailblazer provides more powerful engine options than the Trax, and is available with all-wheel drive and underbody skidplates for mild off-roading capability. It also provides great second-row legroom that sets it apart in the segment. For July, Chevy is offering the Trailblazer with an attractive lease deal. 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer FWD LT lease deal for July. 2021 Chevy Trailblazer Activ — Source: GM Chevrolet's National Lease Deal for the 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer FWD LT is $319/month for 36 months with $0 security deposit and $3,969 due at signing for well-qualified lessees. The 2025 Chevy Trailblazer FWD LT is powered by a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder that generates 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. The front-wheel-drive Trailblazer with the 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine returns an EPA-estimated 30 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. The LT trim comes standard with 17″ gloss black aluminum wheels with a machined face, automatic LED headlights, automatic high beams, active noise cancellation, remote start, an 8-inch driver information display, an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, tire pressure monitoring, lane keeping assist with lane departure warning, forward collision alert, and automatic emergency braking. 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer — Source: Chevrolet The cabin's main focus is the large 11-inch central touchscreen that houses many of the Trailblazer's in-car functions. It's big for a vehicle at this price, and the vivid graphics and quick responsiveness make operation a cinch. There is a fair amount of plastic in lower trims, but there are solid physical controls for climate and audio, as well as a convenient traditional shift knob. The Chevrolet Trailblazer offers a solid amount of cargo space for its class, with 25.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 54.4 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat. A unique feature is the Trailblazer's ability to fold the front passenger seat flat. When doing so, items measuring up to 8.5 feet long can be stored inside. Rear passenger legroom is a generous 39.4 inches, making it one of the roomiest in its class. Final thoughts The 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a strong contender in the subcompact crossover segment thanks to its strong styling statement, roomy interior, impressive in-car tech, and excellent safety scores. While the LT trimmed model might not have a potent engine, its ride is comfortable, and the cabin is nicely accommodating for small families. For a low monthly lease price this month, it's a great time to get into one. Before signing the lease agreement, make sure to review costs, including taxes and registration fees, and the total amount due at lease. Tesla's "Most Epic Demo Ever" Is Happening This Year

By signing up I agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Policy . You may unsubscribe from email communication at anytime. Tesla Teases Something New This year has already been yet another rollercoaster ride for Tesla, but some important steps have been made. The refreshed Model Y has arrived, as have the updated Model S and X, and robotaxis have begun operating in Austin. Now, company CEO Elon Musk has taken to his social media site, X, to announce that Tesla plans to show off something special by the end of the year. 'Just left the Tesla design studio,' Musk wrote. 'Most epic demo ever by end of year. Ever.' So what could he be talking about? Previous Pause Next Unmute 0:00 / 0:10 Full screen Rivian R1T delivers on this EV feature that Tesla forgot Watch More Could The Tesla Roadster Finally Arrive? Source: Tesla The fact that Musk teased this demonstration after visiting the Tesla design studio indicates that he saw something relating to a new product, not an update or refresh of an existing one. As noted above, every EV Tesla sells except the Cybertruck has already been updated, and we doubt the slow-selling pickup is going to be restyled anytime soon. Thus, speculation has run rife that Tesla is preparing the new Roadster. Musk has often made outlandish claims of what the Tesla Roadster will be capable of, and his proclamation that the 'most epic demo ever' is coming would certainly be applicable if his earlier promises come to fruition. Let's recap some of those claims, but bear in mind that Tesla doesn't only make cars… Musk's Roadster Claims And Other Ambitions Elon Musk has previously claimed that the Roadster will feature 'alien technology' by incorporating rocket thrusters using innovations from one of his other companies, SpaceX, which has also been claimed to be providing a 'cold gas thruster system with ultra high-pressure air,' which is supposedly able to allow the Roadster to fly, or at least hover. Another wild claim once made was that 0-60 mph would be possible in under a second. All of these promises would certainly fit the bill of 'epic' if they are realized. But let's temper our expectations for now; we don't even know if Musk is talking about the Roadster – his posts could refer to the Optimus humanoid robot. Musk has long talked up the potential use cases of the robot, and with notable advancements in xAI's Grok (alongside unforgettably offensive posts, it must be noted), Tesla's CEO may be teasing that the pair will become practical assistants that interact with the physical world.
