BLAS Pontio performance to celebrate Bangor's 1,500th
The event will begin with a public gathering before a procession to the Pontio Arts Centre, ending with a live music finale at 2pm.
Manon Gwynant, director at BLAS, said: "The BLAS cast have been in their element in creating a brand-new show together and have set out to put their unique stamp on it in every way.
"It is full of colour and pride, and is very much a celebration of what the Welsh language and Bangor mean to them today."
The performance will feature BLAS Hŷn and BLAS Bach, and will celebrate the Welsh language, Bangor's heritage, and the community.
Y Rali will include theatrical moments, 'immersive' storytelling, and public participation as it 'brings the high street to life'.
At Pontio's plaza, the celebrations will conclude with a special musical performance by Hedydd Ioan.

The event is delivered in partnership with Menter Iaith Bangor and is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.

The Y Rali street performance is a free event, open to all.
Blas is Pontio's flagship youth arts participation program, based at the Arts & Innovation Centre at Bangor University.

Oasis to play first gig in almost 16 years in Cardiff
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will perform together for the first time since their dramatic split in 2009, when they appear at the Welsh capital's Principality Stadium. The brothers announced the Oasis Live '25 tour last August, starting with two dates in Cardiff on Friday and Saturday, before heading across the UK and Ireland. Doors are expected to open at 5pm, with Cast and the Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft in support. Former members of the group are expected to make a return, with Andy Bell on bass, and Gem Archer and Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs on guitars. Noel was spotted getting off the train in Cardiff on Tuesday, while a drone display spelling out the band's name could be seen over the stadium on Wednesday. Fans across the city have also heard what they believe to be rehearsals in the Principality throughout the week. The reunion announcement came 15 years after Noel quit the Britpop band, saying he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer,' following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. While fans have been pleading for the group to reunite since they disbanded, website issues and controversial dynamic pricing brought outrage, with many failing to secure a spot. After tickets for the UK and Ireland shows went on sale last year, some standard tickets appeared to have jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing. Following Cardiff, Oasis will visit Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park throughout July, August and September. The group will then head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America. A movie, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, is being made in conjunction with the reunion tour. Formed in Manchester in 1991, the rock band was led by lead guitarist Noel and his brother, lead vocalist Liam, during their 18 years together. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994. They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever. Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.

Noel and Liam Gallagher are set to reunite with Oasis for the first time in over a decade in Cardiff and fans can expect a bumper two hour setlist to sing along to The wait is almost over – Oasis is back and Cardiff is ready for it. The reunion tour that seemed half the world away last year is about to kick off, and over 74,000 people will pile into the Welsh city's Principality Stadium on Friday night. Such is the anticipation ahead of Noel and Liam Gallagher's arrival back on the main stage together that fans have already started to camp out. It marks the first of 17 nights across the UK, with fans set to flock to London, Manchester and Edinburgh too. There will also be a set in Dublin before the band takes the show on the road to North America, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Chile and Argentina. But the here and now sees Wales ready for action. And there are big plans already in place. Here is what we know so far... Arriving and exiting Cardiff Preparations have gotten underway in Cardiff ahead of tomorrow's first show. With over 74,000 fans expected to descend on the Welsh capital, officials have started preparing. With many expected to arrive by train, the stunning area outside the station has been fitted with metal railings, ensuring that there is no shoving and fighting to get into the station first. With doors for the stadium opening at 5pm, fans can treat themselves to some brilliant warm-up acts. The first support act Cast warm up the crowd at 6pm, shortly followed by Verve frontman and friend of the Gallaghers, Richard Ashcroft will then take to the stage at 7pm. Then, as the anticipation reaches fever pitch the time Oasis reunite live has now been confirmed as 8.15pm. They are set to play for just over two hours before they will end the set for a 22.30pm curfew. It's thought there will be 24 songs for the crowd to enjoy. According to one fan, they have claimed they heard the full rehearsal setlist after staying for the duration of the playback. This crucible of Welsh rugby is perfectly suited to closed-roof concerts, with sound ricocheting off the towering metal structure, creating an electrifying atmosphere and a deafening space filled with cheers and song. Conversely the open-air option lends the music a sense of liberation, evoking a summery, festival vibe. Oasis fans will be thrilled to learn that for their opening dates in Cardiff the roof will remain shut, according to the fan guide distributed to Ticketmaster customers. The Principality Stadium will be the place that the famous Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam, reunite for the first time since the band split. Cardiff is expected to be incredibly busy with thousands of fans and many road closures and you can read everything you need to know about the gig here. There will also be extra trains put on to help fans get home and disruption to bus routes due to the road closures. Gates to the Principality Stadium open at 5pm for both gigs. The first support act announced was Richard Ashcroft, the former lead singer of The Verve and completing the line-up is Scouse band Cast. Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year. However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go can sell their seats, although these tend to go in and out of stock quickly. Article continues below Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub, and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates with prices from £121, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.
