LeBron James reacts to speculation after he practiced at Cavaliers' facility: 'Yall bored man'
James exercised his player option for the 2025-26 season, and with it has some rumors of retirement at the end of the season, or even a potential trade incoming.
In the midst of the conversation, it turned out that James wound up training at the practice facility of his former Cleveland Cavaliers.
James took a photo with Denver Jones, who signed to the team's summer league roster, at the facility, and it prompted plenty reaction.
But James said it was a total nothingburger, saying he's practiced there "every summer since it was built."
"I live here still and train every summer. Got damn yall bored man! Go get a plate of food somewhere and enjoy the 4th of July!"
James, who is from nearby Akron, was drafted first overall to the Cavs in 2003, and played there until 2010 when he spent his next four seasons with the Miami Heat. James then returned to Cleveland in 2014 before heading to Los Angeles prior to the 2018-19 season to play for the Lakers, where he's played ever since.
James has since opened his "I Promise" school in Akron, and his entertainment company, "SpringHill Entertainment," is named after the housing complex where he was raised.
With the player option, James is set to enter his 23rd NBA season, which will be a new record.
In 2016, James helped the Cavs to the city's first professional sports championship in 52 years by leading the 3-1 comeback against the 73-9 Golden State Warriors.

'I was worried that maybe we had sort of peaked or something, and I just was like, you know, we've been doing this for a long time. And I think I was also anxious,' Howerton said. 'I had not figured out yet how to stretch myself and be able to do other things that I wanted to do with my career outside of the show… I just hadn't figured out how to do that yet. I was aching to do other things, and so I was starting to feel a little boxed in, frankly.' Howerton had made appearances in many other series, including 'The Mindy Project' and 'Fargo,' but after he 'figured out how to do that' — meaning juggle additional projects — he would take on such hefty assignments as the sitcom 'A.P. Notre Dame offensive lineman Charles Jagusah breaks arm in UTV accident in Wyoming
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Notre Dame offensive lineman Charles Jagusah broke his left arm Saturday in a utility task vehicle accident in Wyoming. School officials announced Sunday that Jagusah had surgery to repair his fractured humerus, which is a bone located between the shoulder and elbow. They said the initial prognosis was 'favorable' and that he would return to campus this week for further evaluation and continued care. Advertisement This marks the second consecutive year that Jagusah, one of Notre Dame's most promising offensive linemen, has suffered a major injury before the season. Jagusah was projected to open 2024 as Notre Dame's starting left tackle, but he tore his right pectoral muscle during preseason practice. He came back to play in the Fighting Irish's final three College Football Playoff games. He started at left tackle and played all 63 of the Irish's offensive snaps in their 34-23 title game loss to Ohio State. He primarily played guard in their 27-24 Orange Bowl semifinal victory over Penn State. He was expected to open this season as Notre Dame's starter at right guard. Michigan State hasn't earned much buzz from a national level, and the group is embracing the underdog role, which Smith thrived in at Oregon State. The Spartans are rumored to have dropped a large NIL bag to land Marsh, and the investment paid off with 41 receptions, 649 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman.
