The notices were related to five safety violations, Mohol added, without giving any details on the violations.
"Enforcement action has been completed in respect of one violation," he said.
Air India has come under scrutiny after a Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed in the Indian city of Ahmedabad last month, killing 260 people.

Boeing's contract offer rejected by union members
July 27 (Reuters) - Union members who assemble Boeing's (BA.N), opens new tab fighter jets in the St. Louis area have "overwhelmingly voted" to reject the company's contract offer on Sunday. Boeing's proposal, which was sent on Tuesday to more than 3,200 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 837, included a 20% general wage increase over four years and a $5,000 ratification bonus, as well as more vacation time and sick leave. "The proposal from Boeing Defense fell short of addressing the priorities and sacrifices of the skilled IAM Union workforce," the IAM union said. Boeing did not immediately respond to a Reuters' request for a comment. The current contract expires on Sunday following which there is a seven-day cooling off period before a strike would begin, the union added. Boeing's defense division is expanding manufacturing facilities in the St. Louis area for the new U.S. Air Force fighter, the F-47, after it won the contract earlier this year.

DHAKA, July 27 (Reuters) - Bangladesh has ordered 25 aircraft from Boeing (BA.N), opens new tab and ramped up imports of key American goods in an effort to defuse trade tensions and bring down the steep tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, a senior official said on Sunday. The moves are part of a broader strategy to narrow a $6 billion U.S. trade deficit with Bangladesh and avoid a looming 35% tariff hike that has rattled the country's export sector, especially the garments industry which risks losing competitiveness in one of its largest markets. "We need new aircraft urgently, possibly within the next couple of years," Commerce Secretary Mahbubur Rahman told reporters. "Initially, it was 14 planes — now it's 25," he said, referring to an earlier plan to purchase aircraft from the U.S.-based manufacturer. Alongside the aircraft deal, Bangladesh is boosting imports of wheat, soybean oil and cotton from the United States. A new agreement signed earlier this month will see the country import 700,000 tonnes of U.S. wheat annually over the next five years. Officials hope that these steps will help improve trade relations with Washington and soften the impact of the Trump administration's tariff measures.

Indian tech company TCS to cut workforce by 2%, affecting more than 12,000 jobs
BENGALURU, July 27 (Reuters) - India's largest IT services provider Tata Consultancy Services ( opens new tab will reduce its workforce by 2% in its 2026 financial year, primarily affecting middle and senior management, the company said on Sunday. The company is retraining and redeploying staff as it enters new markets, invests in new technology and deploys AI, but about 12,200 jobs will be cut as part of the process, it said. "This transition is being planned with due care to ensure there is no impact on service delivery to our clients," the company added. India's $283 billion IT sector has had to contend with clients holding back non-essential technology spending because of weak demand, persistent inflation and lingering uncertainty over U.S. trade policies. TCS Chief Executive K Krithivasan said this month that there were delays in client decision-making and project starts.
