Oasis reunion show's 10 biggest highlights: Fans sing along ‘Wonderwall' in tears, Liam and Noel mock ticket controversy
The band hit the stage to the iconic 'F***in' in the Bushes,' then kicked off with 'Hello', a track they hadn't played live since 2002. They shouted, 'It's good to be back,' and followed it up with the night's first shocker, 'Acquiesce', one of the rarest tracks where both Liam and Noel's vocals are featured. When the line 'we need each other' blasted through the stadium, it felt like more than just lyrics, fans let out a sigh of relief, hoping the hatchet was finally buried.

Despite the past beef, both Liam and Noel gave fans a moment to feel 18 again, as the brothers hugged and had a hand-in-hand moment, raising it to the sky. Though there were minimal gestures, and they never addressed each other during the show lasted for over two hours, just hearing them harmonise again pleased the fans.
The 23-song setlist was nothing short of a dream for fans, with a mix of their classics and rarities: Wonderwall, Hello, Acquiesce, Morning Glory, Some Might Say, Bring It On Down, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Fade Away, Supersonic, Roll With It, Talk Tonight (Noel vocals), Little by Little, Half the World Away (Noel vocals), D'You Know What I Mean?, Stand By Me, Cast No Shadow, Slide Away, Whatever, Live Forever, Rock 'n' Roll Star, The Masterplan, Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova.

'I hope it was worth £175 of anybody's money. Sorry, £210. Sorry, £250,' Noel quipped between the sets, poking fun at the Ticketmaster ticket controversy where many fans were left disappointed by misleading prices. According to reports, ticket prices jumped mid-purchase. Some paid £350 for seats originally priced at £150. The complaints even triggered the Competition and Markets Authority to step in. Later, Liam joked, 'What's happening? You alright? Yeah, you're having a good time, yeah? Was it worth the £40,000 you paid for a ticket?'
During the show, Noel commanded the lead vocals for multiple songs, including Talk Tonight, Half the World Away, and Little by Little, while also incorporating lyrics such as 'Because we need each other, we believe in one another.' Guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs tried breaking the ice between the brothers from time to time with little pats on the shoulder between sets.
Jesus Christ, #Oasis just blew the doubters, and my own expectations, away. I've seen a lot of good gigs in my time but that was up there! Liam was on FIRE, the setlist was incredible, the crowd was lapping it up! There will never be another moment like that pic.twitter.com/7LHNfJlxqz

Some fans told the Guardian, 'Liam's voice hasn't sounded that good since the mid-90s.' Another set of fans shared, 'Lots of us cried. They're a working-class band. No one else touched a generation like they did.' After 16 years of hiatus and Liam's battle with the autoimmune disease that impacted his vocals, his snarling vocals didn't go unnoticed.
Hours before the show, Liam took to Twitter to apologise to fans for behaving 'inappropriately' and said, 'Sorry if I offended anyone with my tweet before, it wasn't intentional,' Gallagher wrote on the platform. 'You know I love you all and I do not discriminate.' In a now-deleted tweet, the Oasis member had used a racist and highly offensive one-word slur towards Asians. Later, when fans told him he couldn't say that, he replied, 'Why?' and then brushed it off with 'Whatever,' when fans warned he could be cancelled over this.
Apart from the Gallagher brothers, the show also marked the return of original Oasis guitarist Paul Arthurs, along with Gem Archer and Andy Bell.
All night, the concert was more like a sing-along, with fans collectively singing Noel's guitar solos. 'You sound like a load of Charlotte Churches,' Liam praised the crowd, impressed with how the songs seemed to be a part of the audience. Then the crowd went on with Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger. Tens of thousands of fans from across the globe arrived in Cardiff.
Another major controversy erupted on the night when major media outlets were told they could only use photos from the first show for one year, after which the rights would return to the band. This move left major photo agencies baffled and angered. The News Media Coalition called it a bad precedent. 'Photography plays a role in building a band's legacy. That doesn't end after 365 days,' said NMC CEO Andrew Moger. The topic is still being debated.

Steve Jobs' daughter Eve makes mysterious late entrance at her wedding; here's what happened
Apple co-founder Steve Jobs' daughter, Eve Jobs, tied the knot with British Olympic equestrian Harry Charles this week in a lavish $6.7 million wedding ceremony. Eve, 26, got married at the stunning Estelle Manor, a private country estate located at Eynsham Hall in Oxfordshire, England. As reported by the New York Post, the ceremony included high-profile guests such as former US Vice President Kamala Harris and even a performance by music legend Elton John. However, the couple's big day ignited some curiosity and confusion in the village of Great Tew, Oxfordshire, where their wedding ceremony took place at the historic St Michael and All Angels Church. According to Page Six, Eve arrived at the venue approximately 30 minutes after the bridal party, but her entrance went unnoticed by the crowd outside. The bride reportedly used a private road to approach the church, then entered quietly through a secret back gate. Hello! magazine also noted that about half an hour after the bridesmaids and groomsmen arrived, word spread that the bride and groom had already slipped inside the church. Then, at around 6.45 pm, two of the eight bells began to ring, announcing the conclusion of the ceremony. However, it is unknown why the couple chose a secret door at the Church to enter their wedding venue. One local expressed disappointment over missing a glimpse of the bride. 'It just seems quite uncharitable, but then again, it is their big day. They should be allowed to celebrate however they wish,' the local told Hello! Following the ceremony, the newlyweds left in the back of a swanky Mercedes limousine van for their grand reception at Estelle Manor. Born in 1998, Eve Jobs is the youngest daughter of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Now a professional fashion model, she earned her bachelor's degree in arts from Stanford University. Before her graduation, Eve attended Upper Echelon Academy in Wellington, Florida, where she also honed her skills in equestrian sports.

Too hot to handle! Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson fuel dating rumours with their cute banter
Oh we're shipping it! Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson's chemistry is too cute to ignore!(Photos: X) Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are making the cutest pair as they fly through promotions and press for their upcoming release, The Naked Gun. Now while neither have actually commented on the elephant in the room, their relationship status, real or not, is definitely inching towards a label as far as the Internet is concerned. And to be honest, their bubbly, coy chemistry is a dead giveaway. During a chat with Entertainment Tonight Liam, 73, jumped right into the kind of energy he believes he shares with co-star Pamela, 58. 'I think we have a lovely, unique chemistry', he said to which Pamela quipped, albeit sultrily, 'We have a chemistry'. Ok then! Period. They do. Brushing his hand on hers Liam was very prompt to agree, correcting himself: 'I'm sorry, you're right', he said, adding, 'We didn't analyse it, or put it under a microscope. (We were like) 'Ok, it's working' '. Liam, partly owing to his action packed, rescue-heavy filmography and partly due to that towering aura, has always been better known as stoic and serious as opposed to the fun and funny side of him now coming to the surface. So when asked what else might the audience not know about him in Pamela's gauge of his public persona, she huffed, 'He's silly. Definitely has that little boy sense of humour. (He's) funny'. 'Disgusting', Liam added jokingly, to which Pamela exclaimed, 'No! What!'. The Naked Gun is the fourth film in the Police Squad! franchise, the first of which came out in 1982. This was followed by The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear which came out in 1991. The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult released in 1994 with the fourth instalment rolling in just shy of the franchise's 30-year anniversary. The 2025 update is eyeing an August 1 release.
