Love Island's Megan and Remell speak out for the first time after brutal dumping
Megan and Remell were dumped from the Love Island Villa on Friday night - and now, the pair are breaking their silence for the first time.
Dumped Love Island stars Megan Clarke and Remell Mullins have spoken out after their brutal exit from the villa on Friday night. In the first public vote of the season, Megan and Remell found themselves voted as the least favourite Islanders and were dumped from the Island.
In the public vote, Megan, Toni and Shakira were revealed as the three least popular girls while Remell, Harry and Ben received the fewest votes among the boys.
However, fans were stunned when a text revealed that the decision on who would leave the villa was entirely in the hands of the public - a surprising twist, as Islanders are usually given the chance to weigh in.
As a result, Megan and Remell were sent home in a shock exit. Megan was just starting to grow a connection with Conor, after the pair expressed their feelings for each other. However, their connection was fairly new as she spent the first two weeks of the show getting to know Tommy.
Speaking about her exit, Megan stated: "I'm gutted to have left because I was getting to a really good place with Conor and I'd tied up loose ends with Tommy and Emily.
"I would've liked to have left on better terms with Tommy. We were getting there, but that comes with time and I didn't have time on my side. I made best friends there and had an absolute ball."
Megan was surprised to see herself voted as the public's least favourite, expressing: "I was surprised because I felt like everyone was getting on, but I can see why I would've been there because Tommy is an absolute angel and he deserves the world."
Regarding her connection with Conor, Megan hopes to continue getting to know him whenever he leaves the villa, saying: "I definitely want to have something with Conor on the outside."
She realises things can change quickly in the villa, and continued: "Me and Conor were at a really good stage. He was really upset so it broke my heart a little bit. Someone could walk in for him tomorrow and it could be different."
The 24-year-old spoke about her dramatic 'love square' with Conor, Tommy and Emily. "The love square was crazy. We've heard of triangles but squares are insane! Emotions were constantly high and it's 'he said, she said' in there. I definitely think I could've gone about it better but I tried to navigate it the best that I could," she said.
"At the end of the day you're there to do what you want to do, so it's hard to please everyone, especially in a square."
Megan continued: "I did do some things and apologised after but it brought me and Conor closer and I'm happy where we are. I never intended to upset anyone, especially Emily and Tommy. They're literally gems and have been gems the whole time. It was bad of me but we're friends now and left on really good terms.
"They're cracking on a bit as well so we kind of did a wife swap," she joked.
Meanwhile Remell had just called things off with Alima, after she found out he was kissing bombshell Poppy over at the sleepover villa. The 24-year-old believed his actions with Poppy and fall out with Alima led him to being voted as the least favourite boy.
He said: "I'm not surprised as I knew at The Sleepover that my decision would have repercussions."
Speaking about his time with Poppy, Remell stated: "Despite me having what seemed to be a good connection with Poppy, my heart was telling me that I had to see it through with Alima."
"The dynamic with Poppy was more what I'm used to on the outside. But building up slowly with Alima made me realise that that's important."
Although it seems he had no regrets, continuing: "I didn't necessarily have to share the bed and kiss outside of the Truth or Dare game, however, being true to myself I'm naturally very flirty. I still acted like I would on the outside."
Despite this, Remell said he would have done some things differently over at the sleepover villa, saying: "If Alima and I had had a conversation about boundaries, it would have made a difference. Communication is important and I'd do my best to change."
The content creator wants to have a conversation with Alima when they are both in the normal world, as it was hard for them to talk inside the villa, expressing: "I felt a bit disrespected and put my guard up."
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

52-year-old shares exact routine that keeps her looking 20 years younger
Nerys Middleton often gets mistaken for a woman in her 30s. But when the mum-of-one reveals she's actually 52, people are reluctant to believe it. She told What's the Jam: 'It annoys me when people say, 'You don't look 52' and I think, no, I shouldn't – I work hard to look the way I do. You have to.' The fashion influencer believes it's not just down to looks, but a few youthful habits that keep her from ageing as fast as her peers. She added: 'People tell me they think I'm in my 30s because of the way I am. I hang around with people in their 30s, so they talk about what 30‑year‑olds talk about, like Love Island.' Nerys is religious around certain parts of her routine that she believes keeps her young looks in tact, like wearing SPF 50 every day and avoiding the sun at all costs. She spends around £400 each month on vitamins, skincare and beauty treatments like CO2 laser facials. She has also been getting Botox in her forehead since she was 29. But she doesn't drink or smoke and avoids junk food whenever possible. However, despite all of this Nerys believes it's her mindset that has the most powerful anti-ageing effect. She said: 'If you think old, you become old. Most of my friends I met through work are younger than me and we get on because I have a young mindset. 'I spend a lot of time with young friends. We go on holidays, we go clubbing in Budapest. I wouldn't go away with people my own age; they don't like going out and partying. 'I think it's not just about looks, it's how you act. Because I've got younger friends, we talk about younger things and I spend a lot of time with them.' In terms of fashion, Nerys is careful to avoid the 'old-fashioned' trends she saw her mum doing as she grew older, like cutting her hair short and wearing florals. But she's also careful about sticking too closely to what 20-year-olds are wearing. She continued: 'Try and keep make-up to a minimum and see what trends are out there; see what other women are wearing. But don't follow like a sheep, try and think of trends yourself. 'Stay away from ripped jeans and ethnic shorts because they make you look like you're trying too hard. It's the balance in between. You can either look frumpy or look trashy. 'I'm trying to tell people about this balance that's in the middle that can make you look classy, sophisticated and young.'

'No one believes I'm 52 because Love Island keeps me young'
Nerys Middleton says people often assume she's in her thirties, but claims it's not just down to looks but how she acts that keeps her young Nerys Middleton has surprised many as a fashion influencer, often being mistaken for someone in her 30s despite being 52. She told What's the Jam: "It annoys me when people say, 'You don't look 52' and I think, no, I shouldn't – I work hard to look the way I do. You have to." The mum-of-one attributes her youthful appearance not just to physical looks but also to keeping youthful habits. Which make her seem younger than her contemporaries. Nerys claims that having younger friends and sticking to what they act like is a major factor: "People tell me they think I'm in my 30s because of the way I am. I hang around with people in their 30s, so they talk about what 30‑year‑olds talk about, like Love Island." Religiously adhering to her beauty routine, including daily SPF 50 and avoiding sun exposure, Nerys spends roughly £400 monthly on vitamins, skincare, and various beauty procedures, such as CO2 laser treatments. With Botox treatments since the age of 29. Nerys also has a disciplined lifestyle by avoiding alcohol, smoking, and junk food. But above all, she believes her young mindset is what's preserving her youth. She added: "If you think old, you become old. "Most of my friends I met through work are younger than me and we get on because I have a young mindset. I spend a lot of time with young friends. We go on holidays, we go clubbing in Budapest. Because I've got younger friends, we talk about younger things and I spend a lot of time with them." When it comes to fashion, Nerys is mindful to steer clear of the "old-fashioned" trends she observed her mum adopting as she aged, such as short haircuts and floral prints. However, she's also cautious about adhering too closely to what 20 year olds are wearing. She added: "Try and keep make-up to a minimum and see what trends are out there; see what other women are wearing. But don't follow like a sheep, try and think of trends yourself. Maya Jama puts on a very busty display in figure-hugging zebra print dress as she shows off her incredible curves on Love Island: Aftersun
Love Island's Maya Jama put on a very busty display as she hosted Sunday's edition of the spin-off Aftersun. The brunette bombshell, 30, turned heads in a figure-hugging dress as she presented the live show following the dramatic episode - which saw couples take part in the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge. The Bristolian TV presenter - who is dating Portugese Man City player Ruben Dias - showed off her incredible curves in the bodycon dress, which featured a striking black-and-white animal print. Maya, who is known for her bold style, added a pair of white heeled sandals to complete the look, wearing her waist-length brunette hair in loose waves. She was joined by co-hosts Indiyah Polack, Joe Baggs and Sam Thompson in the segment. The panel were chatting to dumped Islanders Megan Forte Clark and Remell Mullins, who have been booted off the show recently. Poppy Harrison and Caprice Alexandra also made an appearance, with Poppy and Remell having an awkward run-in. She admitted she had been blindsided by Remell as she thought he 'really liked her' after the Truth or Dare game. However Remell insisted he told her his decision was 'shuffling' and he had changed his mind. The conversation ended with Remell asking to 'roll the tapes' to which Poppy agreed the producers should do. Former Islanders Olivia and Alex Bowen were in the hot seat tonight as they made a guest appearance. It comes after Maya insisted that there are 'a lot of frauds' working in television, who are only friendly when the cameras are rolling. She appeared on her pal Chunkz's podcast, The Chunkz Show, where she opened up on career and how she secured the coveted Love Island hosting role. As Chunkz praised her for being so down-to-earth and nothing like the preconceived ideas people had about celebrities, Maya insisted: 'There are a lot of frauds.' Caprice Alexandra looked stunning as she made her debut on Aftersun Remell looked smart casual in a pair of jeans and tank, which he paired with trainers Fellow TV personality Laurence McKenna chimed in to say: 'But also it's okay to be a presenter who is very friendly on camera and a bit reserved off camera.' But Maya was quick to cut in: 'Reserved yes, but b***h? There's some people who are evil off camera!' Keeping tight-lipped on who she was referring to, she added that she'd worked with people who acted differently after the cameras cut. She explained: 'A lot of people have been exposed like that. I won't say any names but on big telly, people have been caught on their mics being like mean.' Elsewhere, Maya also reflected on her role as the host of Love Island, revealing that she had got the job after previously being rejected for being 'younger than the Islanders'. 'I was actually living in America at the time when they wanted to meet about me potentially hosting. They called when I was in America and they were like "Would Maya be interested in hosting?"
